Jak raises his bow to take a shot but, not having any clear view of the Invisithing, grimaces and instead produces a golden wand with multicolored balls branching out of it."I apologize in advance if this goes poorly!" With that he activates the Wand of Wonder, pointing it a where he thinks the creature is. (D100 roll 69)
As the energy bursts from the wand, a thick cloud of smoke engulfs Jak, causing him to sputter and cough. When the smoke clears, the rest of the party sees Jak standing there, seemingly no worse for wear but now standing at a mere two and a half feet tall. "Well...shit."
Trying to make the best of the mishap, he uses his Cunning Action to hide, presumably behind the legs of one his larger companions (25 for stealth)
(Oh man! LOL. Sorry Jak but that's pretty funny. It could be very bad but it's still funny. Fortunately you are not deep enough in the water to be affected by it but your legs feel odd. Like a pins and needles kind of feeling)
Jak attempts to do something to help make the creature easier to see but the effects aren't what he hopes for as he finds himself almost up to the waist now in the murky, oily water.

"Yesss! Now this is the zest I have been looking for!" Brocc proclaims, grinning a blood grin. Gone is much the pomp and circumstances as he wipes his bloodied nose off with a sleeve before whipping his hammer once more into action. With each strike he puts his back into and put aside the aches. "Have at thee you invisible fool! But know you'll never get the best of Brocc Brimblebacc so easily!" He barks.

Brocc changing tactics and take two swings, The first swings just makes a swooshing sounds as it passes through the air. The second swing is interrupted by a short period of resistance as it passes though invisithing. You surely hit it but again it doesn't seem to take the damage it should. 3 dmg
Invisithing retaliates with two attacks on Brocc.
Attack: 24 Damage: 9
Attack: 17 Damage: 11
Brocc again feels something slam into him. The second time it's like he was hit by some giant fly swatter.
As johnson sees his companions struggling he decides to ask them something, Hey guys should I pull the ace out of my sleeve now?! (remember plan B earlier with the sphinx)

"Plan B?" Twist grunts out. "Ye got'a 'Plan B'? Then fer Cromwell's sake use it! 'n 'Plan C, D, E, ... I'd g'all th' way t' Zed bu' tha'ud take too long laddie!"
Looking around, "We coold haul arshes too, ye ken. Moight be a goud idee 'a' tha'." As soon as possible, Symon will use the Staff of Healing, on Brocc as well; Cure Wounds, 2nd lvl. 11
(Forgot the life cleric bonus there, Symon, which added another +4 to the heal based on the level. I accounted for it)

"What?! No, you blasted fool! Focus on carving it up! I can take a lot more hits than I look." Brocc replied curtly after shaking off some stars from his vision. Whether it was the pride talking or not is hard to say. But, he appeared to genuinely believe in his words. And after the patch up job from Twist, looked only bloody up versus outright dying. Whichis something.
Johnson swinging recklessly gets a good bite into something but it still doesn't cause the expected damage 8.
Everyone also notices that there's no blood in the water. You now you've gotten some shots in, you'd think there would at least be a few drops to give away it's location but... nothing.
So now Symon is able to heal. Brocc you can take whichever of Symons heals is the best, which is his action. That brings us to Jak

"Well, this job is going about as well as I expected" Jak thinks to himself. "Alright you useless stick!" he scowls at the wand "How about something a bit more impressive this time!" He levels the Wand of Wonder again, bracing himself this time. (67)
("You are stunned until the start of your next turn, believing something awesome just happened." Well, he kinda got his wish...)

(Excuse me but how high is the water that we are standing in?)
Symon Twist will shoot an arrow right above Jak and just to the right of Brocc under the assumption that the thing would be somewhere around ‘there’.
Attack: 22 Damage: 11 Longbow
And if applicable: Sneak attk. 9
If that manages to hit then this ‘thing’, invisible or no, should have an arrow sticking out of it.
”If yes sees ‘n arrow floatin’ ‘bout, attack it!” Twist urges his companions.
”Aim fer ‘is knees Jak! Kneecap th’ bloody thing!”
”I must observe Jak, that is a very interesting wand you have there. Does it do other interesting things as well?” Symon seems very curious.

(No, you're good Jak. Symon jumped ahead but it's no biggie.)
