"How is it going up there Bugs?" Leon called up. He figured the hammering was loud enough that calling up wouldn't be too problematic. "Need any help up there yet?"
He calls down the hole, "There are probably big spiders up here... hopefully I can handle it but some help would be nice. Maybe someone that can shoot or do magic without blowing me up? Or... I could try talking with them. Its the last time I could chat with animals today but could try that too."
Ramious calls up, "That's one more time than me bud! Uh....." he glances at Leon in his big heavy armor, then at Alyssa. "Alyssa, you want to go up there? If not then, Leon, want to give me a boost." The muscley tiefling grins at Leon.

With her aching muscles and streak of luck in this place, Alyssa knew she was going to need all the help she could get, to get up there. The elf would put away her studies and follow the safe path over. "I'm willing to go..." Unless Ramious really wanted to go first, she'd take the lift to see if she could be of help to Bernard. Depending on what approach he was taking, she could provide some guidance or range support.
Climbing with the rope and Ramious's help was indeed doable even with that cursed weakness Alyssa felt now and soon she found herself inside the narrow tunnel behind Bernard. From her position ti was difficult to see that opening he mentioned but suspicious occasional rustling sounds were a good hint that they might be not alone in here.
Ramious glanced over at Leon smiling, and says in an overly loud tone meant for the others to hear, "Well, now that we're free of those two, shall we go open that door over there, it looks like something fun could be behind it." He winks at Leon and makes no move towards the door, just glances back up towards the hole with Alyssa and Bernard above while grinning.

"Might not be a bad idea..." Leon says, playing along. He pulls his greatsword several inches out of its sheath, then lets it slip back in, filling the air with the sound of a sword being pulled from its sheath. He remains at Ramious side, looking up into the chute though.
Unsure what to do, he decided not to risk the final use of the ring. Instead he continued to crawl up and pulled a his shortsword out as a precaution. In sylvan he callous, "We know you are there and we just mean. To pass without trouble. If you are hungry, we just killed a massive snake a short distance away, one that you could feed on for weeks of not months."
Alyssa was straining her attention in every direction. She had to focus on holding herself safely in the shaft, while supporting Bernard's progress and trying to figure out what the two down below could be up too now. Her brows would furrow in thought. Hmm... Securing her feet and hand, she'd free one. Let's see... The elf would rub her fingers to her palm to create a small illusionary image in her hand. She'd then make a gesture with her hand as if she were rolling a yo-yo from her palm and sending it down below.
A 'spider' a little smaller than Alyssa's palm would drop down on a string of web to dangle down the hole.
When Bernard finished rustling, whispering and scratching his message to the spider there was a moment of silence and the answer that came "My place! Do not enter." sounded way more louder than the ranger would expect. The creature inside had to be huge - and Bernard saw as much when a huge shadow appeared for a second, attacking that little spider Alyssa created, several insect eyes the size of a fist reflected the light from downstairs - and immediately the creature retreated into the side hole. "Not food," emotionless "voice" just made a statement but the spider did not came out - not yet at least.
It seemed you could pass - the talk, the noise, the smell of iron frightened the spider inside, but you would probably better off fast.
For Bernard moving aside that basin was not a problem (though thing was quite heavy) and he could open the exit at any moment. For now pitons and bound together ropes created good enough stairs for the rest of the party to get up into the tunnel.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leon sends his owl through first, wanting to see what is in the tunnel above. As he does so he starts to climb the rope. He does not enter the owl's senses, but listens to the mental reports.
The dark hole the owl could not notice before, now is more visible but completely blocked inside with fresh web - the spider (this is obviously a huge spider) is hiding behind that cover now - either frightened, or waiting.
Meanwhile, Bernard went through the hole and now was standing in the room above.
Ramious looks to Leon and shrugs, "Up you go, I'll try to follow but a rope would help." He attempts to lift the Githyanki warrior up to the passage, and then, will take a running jump and use his wings to try and catch a piton or rope to pull himself up as quick as he can.

Calling down the hole he says, "definitely a room up here but its filled with colored mirrors. Best we keep our eyes down and not look at them until everyone is up. I bet its another trap."
Alyssa would hurry to follow Bernard into the room. Heading his warning of the mirrors, she’d stare at her feet, trying to focus more on her hearing. She’d listen for the spider while they’d navigate the room.
If they reach the room above, Ramious' eyes would dart in every which direction. Looking for a massive spider, he'd undoubtedly lay eyes upon each mirror in turn, his curious gaze unable to be averted.

"Probably best the lighter one, if she is willing." Leon agreed, wondering if he could even lift the Tiefling.
