Boosey pulls at the pipe gently, being careful not to break it or damage it in anyway, and finds it to be in pretty good condition. He inspects the intricate carving on it, marvelling at the craftsmanship. He gives the thing a cursory wipe with his sleeve to try and remove some of the dirt, looking down the mouthpiece he can see that the pipe has filled with earth as it has lain there. He wont attempt to blow down it until it's been cleaned thoroughly. Careful not to disturb Sthara he approaches Nenne, who appears to be the nearest of the party.
"What do you make of this?", and he hands her the pipe. "I've just found it in the ruins of the building. It's beautiful"
Nenne circles the statue, taking note of where the vines end and how clean the statue is. Curious she watches as Sthara reaches out and reverently places a hand on the statue's plinth. The sorceress closes her eyes as her hand presses against the carving of a maze and vanishes immediately and entirely! As fast as she is gone, the statue is covered by moss and vines, showing no signs that it was ever clear to begin with. Even though not a sound was made, everyone saw it. One by one, the colorful birds flap away, not in any particular haste.
Funderburk, next to the group and off of Dunk now (letting him roam around for some ferns), looks at the pipe as it is handed off to Nenne. In the most investigator voice he could muster, looked Boosey straight in the eye and told him, "It looks like a pipe to me."
As he looked back towards Sthara, he watched in horror for his friend, but amazement also for the magic that did it, teleporting her off somewhere by the looks of it. He called out, not knowing if she was truly gone or not, "Sthara!" Funderburk ran to the statue, however, avoiding to touch it, just in case something else might happen.
"No no no no no no" Muttering to himself Allister rushes towards the statue, searching for a hole on the ground or anything that could explain Sthara´s disappearance. When he finds nothing, he rips the vines from the statue and tries to find any secret buttons.
Nenne's coloration shifts rapidly from soft pinks to almost burgundy as alarm washes over her.
"Be mindful of what you touch!" she urges the group. "I do not relish losing more companions."
She strides closer to the statue, her expression grim. Clutching her amulet, she closes her eyes and focuses on the maze pendant Sthara wears. "If she is near, Fair Judge, please aid me in finding her." (She casts Locate Object)
Allister tears away vines with abandon, uncovering the maze carving underneath. The fighter moves back and forth inspecting the plinth, seeing no sign of any mechanism or traps. Nenne quickly steadies her hand over the amulet and murmurers out her spell as Boosey rushes in to stare at the old maze carving. The cleric feels no tug in any direction, nor the presence of the amulet she pictures in her mind's eye. Eku runs over to the spot where everyone is converging, mouth agape. Her eyes dart back and forth as if the sorceress might reappear.
"I can say with certainty that she is nowhere near," Nenne informs the group. "It is possible she is even on another plane of existence. Perhaps if we can trigger whatever spell she did, we may be able to follow her. In any event, we must do so with haste."
Boosey stares at the maze carving a moment longer. "Well, it seems like we have very few choices. Let's see if we can follow." Kneeling in front of the statue, he shuts his eyes and places his flat palms against the maze.
The gnome's small hand presses against the cool stone, his fingers pushing into the deep grooves of the maze however, nothing happens to the bard's dismay. Eku says in a very small voice from behind, "Did no one see what happened, or where she went?"

Opening his eyes slowly, he finds himself still in the same place, and somewhat relieved. He begins to walk round the statue looking for anything unusual - signs of a hidden entrance perhaps. Investigation check 4
The gnome takes in everything carefully, noting Sthara's footprints in the soft ground. Her steps never lead away from this place, indicating that she probably isn't invisible. That combined with Nenne saying that she isn't about can only lead to there being some sort of higher magic at play here.
"My eyes did not leave her," Nenne says to Eku. "She was kneeling and speaking with someone she called Izifo, though I saw none she might have addressed as such, save the statue. She then placed her hand on the plinth and vanished. This jungle overgrowth appeared on the carving simultaneously." She shakes her head. "This business displeases me greatly."
She turns to Funderburk and Boosey. "I know little of the arcane, but do either of you have knowledge of transportation methods such as this? Or other magics that might help make sense of what we have seen?"
"I have heard stories of these things..." Arcana check 16 he says to Nenne. "But..." and he leaves the last part unsaid. Instead he looks thoughtful and asks, "Could this have been a route from the Feywild. I wonder if this had anything to do with the Giants and Wolves arriving here, although there would be obvious evidence had that party been through here."
Allister moves to the spot where Sthara knelt when she disappeared and kneels down. He mutters „Izifo or Ubtao, take me to your servant. Show me your maze.“ He touches the statue with both hands and waits.
Hoping for a change, the fighter braces for...something, anything...to happen, but everything remains as it is. Eku asks with very little conviction, "Should we mark this location, leave a note of some kind and return later?" She holds up her hands in a sense that she is unsure of how to proceed.

Nenne scowls lightly at Eku's suggestion. "Never let it be said that I abandoned a comrade so easily," she says resolutely. "It does not seem we are in danger, so I see no need for retreat. Perhaps we will find answers elsewhere on these grounds."
With that, she heads off to the ruins, looking for any signs or markings that might indicate worship of Ubtao. (Perception 25)
I follow Nenne to the ruins, also watching the direction that the birds had been flying off in after Sthara's disappearance. "Do you not find it odd that Sthara vanishes, then all these birds just patiently wait their turn to fly away?"
Eku shrugs apologetically and casually follows along adding, "I meant no offense." The four adventurers make their way through the ruins with Eku and Dunk. Nenne is concentrating on her spell, turning this way and that when she emerges into a smaller square that has also been lost to the jungle. Having no real direction to go in, she leads the way across a few of the moss covered pave stones. The cleric's trek across the courtyard is abruptly halted by the loud call of a great jungle cat.
The yellow cat is spotted like a leopard, but as it emerges reveals itself to bear a mane of snakes that hiss and writhe around its head. The cat prowls out from behind a low, ruined wall growling as big cats do. A second great cat appears from the opposite side of the short wall, this one also bearing a snake mane. Eku freezes and slowly pulls an arrow from her quiver.

I'm just starting my reply to Funderburck, when I'm cut off by Sthara's sudden disappearance. "You perception skills are lege...."
Quickly moving over to the statue I ask, "she touched a carving of a maze. Is it still there?"

@DM
Nenne's passive perception is 15, btw.
