{Assuming all of you read the PM chat, I will however summarize}
Having passed through the portal you now stand in a semicircle facing the black spire that looms into the sky seemingly to the cloud line! You know from various checks that the doors are indeed magical but not trapped in the traditional sense. There are however religious symbols of Cyric, the trickster, on all three doors.
The three doors are at the base of the black spire and seem to be the sole openings with no windows above, just solid black stone. The first door on the right is made of diamonds with the symbol of Cyric, a laughing skull, moving as if laughing at you from within the center and largest stone. The glare hurts your eyes to look at it and it has a distinct chill emanating from it. The second door, at the center of tower, is made of intricately carved antique gold. In this door the Cyric symbol is motionless but there is a faint feeling of heat and the sounds of merrymaking can be heard as well as an exotic scent that permeating from within as if someone is cooking your favorite meal on the other side! Third and final door however seems to be a void. It is so dark in fact it absorbs ALL light from the sun dappled island around it. The symbol of Cyric is barely visible just a stamped recess in the simple darkwood that unless looking at an angle is barely visible! The wood from the door itself reflects nothing. The door gives off no heat or chill nor scent or sound. Looking at the last door however you do realize the sound of rushing water around you is coming from the river at least a mile wide with the island at its center. There are no other sounds of nature however, not even the song of a bird!
The group soon realizes there is no way of returning to the forest behind form the island, the portal having blinked closed behind Elly the last to pass through. The party's choices are the three doors ahead.
(Good enough)
EDIT: I make no move to stop Elly from taking the stick, instead giving her a slight nod/bow of appreciation.
The magic guys seem very unsure of themselves, I slowly walk through the portal without a word, preparing myself for what might lie ahead.
"The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."

Shadow and Gauldring
There is seemingly nothing but the dense forest in the center of the circle.
Everyone witnesses
The stick then Kohl disappear from view.
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
"Gauldring, this may or may not be the correct path, Kohl has committed himself, would you think your Dwarf friend might have made the same choice?"
"welp, no sense waiting here anymore" i hop through the portal after Kohl.

Shadow glances at the remaining members of the group, then follows Gauldring.
Feeling that there is no point in waiting, Xunreth follows the others.
Everyone who has not gone through the portal roll perception check!
Kohl, Gauldring, Xenruth, and Shadow ALL disappear inside the center of the circle of woven branches.
{Good evening y'all I'm signing off}

Clearly magical and to your knowledge will not harm you in anyway, it's simply a door!

Disappears into the portal

Zillah points near the black door and casts mage hand.
