As Randall and Oubliette grasp the quill putting the nip to paper after their party members they feel a slight prick as it seems their own blood is the ink! The other party members having felt it before sign without issue.
"Now," Vanessa says snapping her fingers as the contract disappears, "two days," she reminds everyone. "A day's ride northwest of the city from the Duskmeadow gate. I recommend leaving as soon as possible," she adds.
It's currently late morning nearing the early afternoon.
"Your horses are stabled but...." Murtin looks at the goliath, "there isn't going to be such easy transport for you. I...recommend another sort of beast," he adds with a smile.
"Do you know if the stables have a suitable mount? If not we can ask on arrival. To the stables." Harok hands over the longsword and walks towards the door.
As the party exits the guildhall they go directly to the stables are fitted out with horses, Oubliette's steed looking more like a rhino and an ox had a baby. It's a bit less fleet of foot but it can handle her weight no issue! Moving to the Duskmeadow gates the party is stopped by the gatekeepers.
"What's your business out of the city?" A tall fire gensai asks his red flame hair flickering in the light early afternoon breeze.

"Heavily armor against beasts? Good luck my friends," the fire gensai waves the party through the gates.
You and your party set off along the trade road towards the Glasswalk that skirts the Vesper Timberlands and base of the Heaven's Stair. Travel is light, the weather is blustery and cold. A day's ride and your quarry is ahead of you!
OOC: Marching order, please! I'd like y'all to get a little more 'getting to know my/your PC' in so uh lore dump away or don't. Trying to sort some stuff IRL and I'll check in again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perception 15 are we being followed/tailed in general but specifically by the satyr. "Days ride. I don't know how far these wander but keep your eyes open "
Neither Harok or Elijah notice anything out of the ordinary. Randall's song is met with some amusement from the travelers around the party who linger a few lengths behind and ahead. By late afternoon the travelers are thinking out. As the Glasswalk begins turning sharply north towards the mountain most travelers fall off onto the trade road that continues northeast towards the sea. Now in the Vesper Timberland, the forest grows thicker on both sides. The road narrows and becomes steeper than before that the original party on their previous quarry hunt! Thankfully most of you know the horses will make the entire way into the forest and that climbing the mountain is unnecessary this trip! The forest here is buzzing with animal life. Woodland creatures call from the forest while birds dart over the road. The party can see a thin melting layer of snow within the deeper and darker parts of the forest far from the road. The Glasswalk itself has become mud with some slush on the very edges. As time passes the party reaches early evening and there are new other travelers on the road with them. The sun has begun to sink into the wintery sky with snow heavy clouds that tell there's most likely a snowstorm coming that evening.

Looking up in the sky, Milo raises his hand to stop the group. He then looks into his open hand while concentrating. Those who are close will see a small effect manifesting in his hand as he casts druidcraft to check on the upcoming weather.

(OOC: ugh. Please read as Post #634.5. I was responding after Randall signed on page 31. Forgot to check for page 32. Oops)

Harok is riding in the second row.
Randall would be riding in the middle and once everyone gets settled will pull out his Lute and start playing some random songs.
I can go first.

(OOC: So looks like marching order is: Milo, Harok, Randall, Oubliette, Elijah. Correct?)
Oubliette leads her mount to fall in behind Randall as Elijah brings up the rear.

"How is it looking? Do we need to start looking for a place to camp?"
„We will know in a second.“
Randall will quietly sing a short little tune of encouragement and give some Inspiration to Milo and Harok.
Milo conjures an orb seemingly out of thin air, as he holds it aloft he can see a heavy snowfall is due that evening.
