"Thank you Durkannon, I appreciate this gesture. You are a kind man, fellow of the lute." I take the waterskin and take a sensible amount, enough to keep me going. I never needed much to keep me going during my days as a monk.
As you are eating, the Tabaxi asks "So, what happened to you guys after we ran? You didn't say last night. I see that your clothes are torn, druid and monk. A fight happened?"
"Yes an unfortunate battle played out and we took some injuries, but after a good night of rest and a potion I feel much better and I am sure Nico feels much better also." I hand back the waterskin to Durkannon as I say this.
"The bugbear as you know jumped us with his compatriot, he became sludge due to his ego and backstabbing approach, may nature reclaim his fetid corpse"
"I cast a spray of poison while he slept thanks to our Bardic friend, I'm glad to have gotten my revenge on him, though its a shame his items were not available to plunder. Instead I can settle for a feeling of fulfilment in your protection and his removal from this existence"
Being the young children and teenagers they are, the maidens quickly forget about the fight and listen to your song. It's a very pleasant and happy song, and everyone's mood gets lifted a little, and the sun seems to be a little warmer on your skin.
After listening for a while, and the sun rises a little higher in the sky, the Tabaxi stands and says "We should keep heading forward, Maplewood isn't far, and the road isn't completely safe. There have been multiple stories of bandits and robbers taking advantage of people such as us. Entire caravans have been robbed before, in broad daylight."
"I say we take the previous formation but with the bloodhunter at the front, therefore our two strongest looking allies will be able to meet the assailants first." I stand at the back of formation, prepared and aware.
The younger maidens give you a bright grin, and the Tabaxi gives you a slight smile before looking back to her sisters to make sure everything is ready. When everyone is in position, you all start walking towards Maplewood.
As you go, you notice that trees slowly start to cover around the road, making a tunnel of leaves and trunks, with beams of bright sunlight sifting through the top of the tunnel.
Nico, roll perception for me.

I stretch, cricking my neck from my sleep-like trance.

"If it wasn't for the bard here we'd probably be dead. Even with his low level of character judgment"
"How in the hell did you turn him to sludge?"

The Tabaxi raises her eyebrows a little at your vehemence towards the bugbear, and the younger maidens listen intently. "Why was the big one asleep?"
leans against a tree and starts to play an uplifting song to try and distract the young maidens from the subject
Performance Roll: 18
Being the young children and teenagers they are, the maidens quickly forget about the fight and listen to your song. It's a very pleasant and happy song, and everyone's mood gets lifted a little, and the sun seems to be a little warmer on your skin.
I quietly nod thankfully to the bard as he plays, content about the fact I don't have to explain gruesome details to the young maidens.
"I agree, I'll lead out in front, we should make short work of the journey if we leave now" I respond to the Tabaxi
All of the maidens gather around you, and wait for the rest of the party.
"I say we take the previous formation but with the bloodhunter at the front, therefore our two strongest looking allies will be able to meet the assailants first." I stand at the back of formation, prepared and aware.
stands in my positon at the middle with the maidens as i smile warmly at them
"I am okay with this formation, Sawin with me strong woman!"
I follow suit, walking just behind the maidens, trying to keep an eye out for anything interesting in the surroundings.
