The Divine Fallen

I cringe with my acute hearing as his scream bounces off the walls, waking me instantly.

"who made that noise! my head is still sore!"

nurses my head as i jerk up from the shout

I look around feeling slightly guilty for waking the group before looking down. "Sorry, its.. I just had a bad dream. An oddly foreboding, horrid dream"  

Looking concerned I asked "Are you sure you wouldn't like to talk to a member of our party?"

The maidens are all jarred awake, a few of the younger ones screaming themselves. Talia jumps up immediately, hissing quietly; "There are other people in this cave, remember?! You probably just woke them, and they're armed! We need to get out of here."

"I agree with Talia, I'll try explain on the way" 

(How rested are we btw? Is it still a long rest? Also due to the fact that insects were in the cave tunnel when the bard and bloodhunter went down it, have we seen any since then?)

I get up to prepare myself for our journey and i equip sword in hand and torch in the other

"Well here we go, would most likely be ideal if i took up the back as I am the biggest and would be easier for all smaller people to go first."

You all start to hear shuffling noises coming from the right side of the cave, with some mumbling as well.

"Hurry, we need to go before they catch us!" She starts to herd the maidens out quietly. 

Everyone roll a general dex check for me.

This does still count as a long rest, yes. There are a few bugs on the walls still, mainly centipedes and beetles. Also, Nico, your dice rolls keep egtting messed up, idk why :/

Due to the sudden awakening and flight, you're not the fastest at leaving, stumbling and yawning the whole time. As you're leaving the cave mouth, the bearded man appears and says "Hey, who the hell are you?!" Talia and the maidens are already out of the cave and running.

draws my rapier clumsily as i try and wake up

"who are you is the better question"

I turn to face the man pulling out my focus in preparation, still shaken from the dream

"Ohhh, we've got a smartass, do we?" The bearded man draws his longsword as three other men, equally as well armed and armored, appear. "Go check to see if those stupid Orcs are doing their jobs or not." he says to them, and they go down the right tunnel.

(Are they blocking our exit?)
