"Rubin, you want to try to kick the door in and we go in gangbusters style?"
Tyde rolls up his sleeves just before they get to the door.
"Or do you have a different idea you wanna try, I'm game for just about anything?" said with a half smirk.

“I am not good at the kicking in of said door, but I can rain down covering file as you do so.” Rubin says with a grin. “I’ll be ready to shoot,a nd keep on shooting, once the door is open though.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tyde will cast Thunderwave at the door hoping to blast it off it's hinges and send it flying into the room as a makeshift projectile.
Thunderwave: 5 thunder damage.
"Knock, knock, Tyde's in!"

Marros returns Kethra's nod just as a tremendous boom comes from the direction of their colleagues. It makes it appear as if his nod had broken the sound barrier. "Sounds like we are missing out on the fun" he says to the pale eyed woman. He sets off at a pace in hopes of helping his allies in time.
Tyde slams the door into the kenku standing there, and they're bowled over to the floor. They stay there groveling, still making the horrifying tortued sounds.

"Quiet or I'll put a bolt in you." Rubin snaps to the kenku, unwilling to simply shoot unarmed kenku now that he is standing before them. He will do so though if they do not stop the racket.
Xanranzan looks away wide eyed from his door and says, "What in da nine-?" But without an answer forthcoming, he looks back and forth between his door and the direction of the noise, licking his lips nervously. "They... ugh... No... nono. We gotta stay here. Stay at the ready. But.... Mmmrggh... They'll be fine! It ain't like they alerted the whole city that something's up over here." He said, trying to assuage himself and stay at the ready to cut down the first person to come maybe bursting out of his door. As he hadn't quite got a good look beyond the door before Tyde closed it.

"It ain't like they alerted the whole city that something's up over here." He said, trying to assuage himself and stay at the ready to cut down the first person to come maybe bursting out of his door.
Sliding by the wall next to Xanranzan, Kethra at first looks up to the swordsman with a dead expression as the cacophony of kenku sounds continue.
"I don't think the crash was their first warning, Cobbler."
Kethra gives Xanranzan a little punch, then grabs the door and tries to hold it in place to stop anyone from entering (Athletics): 7
"Look, I don't think anyone is coming. If they were, they would've come running earlier when the kenku started crying while we had scaled the gatehouse and we could've got the jump on them."
She looks away from Xanranzan but continues talking, "...but thank you, I appreciate that you're looking out for us. Just don't go and stay behind on your own, ok?"

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Ow, geeze! I'm a lot more sensitive then you think." Xanranzan half-jokingly said in response to the punch, while awkwardly rubbing the "injury". But to the rest he is respectfully silent and attentive; only really opening his mouth once, tempted to correct, but quick to catch himself.
"Uh... well... I mean... I-I didn't... I mean, it ain't like they ya'll were that far away, and, uh.. y-ya know?" He said, giving a little shrug. But as soon as if his words weren't very persuasive, he'd just hold up his hands with swords in hands in haphazard surrender. "Okay, okay, okay.. No, uh.. stay'n behind 'n all that."

Marros arrives just as Tyde finishes his impressive display. Standing in the now archway he brandishes his sword in a manner to emphasize Tydes words, pointing the tip at the same Kenku. "I would do as he says. I've seen him flatten whole towns!" He adds to the already impressive threat. He addresses his companions "Let me know and I'll let the Light cleanse these weird bird things."

Since Xanranzan's has a high charisma stat, Kethra looks back at Xanranzan and her expression softens. A little. "You're lucky it's hard to stay mad at those puppy dog eyes. I mean, you're right it's just...never mind."
Once the creepy kenku noises stop thanks to Tyde's efforts, the hooded girl mischievously grins at Xanranzan as she gets ready to shove prone the first person who tries to open the door. (If the door swings in, she will stay by the door ready to push it into them, but if the door swings out she will have her maul get in the way of the door's path, then with that ready action kick the door back into whoever is coming through.)
"Which way did they go with the captives? Deeper into the city? Or back to the surface?"
"Did the Kenku take the captives? If not, who did take them?"
"Answer with the truth and you can go free back to the surface world?"
Tyde waits with Rubin for the Kenku's responses.

Tyde turns back to Rubin, ignoring the Kenku for now, "Rubin, we should get the others and continue on. I don't know who these prisoners are but we may be their only hope."
Tyde will begin walking toward the exit and look back at the Kenku, "Back that way are stairs leading to the surface. There better be no one here when we return." and Tyde will point out the direction of the exit to them.

Xan grinned back at Kethra... at first. The 'nevermind' had him cocking his head to the side curiously for a second or two; but, he is quick to follow her example by focusing again on the door and being ready to attack immediately after Kethra makes her move, if any come about. At that was the plan until he sees Tyde come back. At that point he can't help but happily wave. If he sees the Kenku though, his eyes immediately narrow, and the words, "Bird people..." is muttered darkly underbreath.
"Agreed." Rubin states, nodding back the way they came. "Let's see about joining up with the others." He looks thoughtful as he steps back out into the hall. "Maybe they are some of those deligation people that went missing. Even if it is not, we don't dare allow prisoners to be kept if we can help them get out of here."

(Believe we have two options. The door where the musicians were singing behind, or the other direction in the tunnel Rubin and Tide went down to find the Kenku. Anyone have any preference?)

Kethra follows the Warrior of Light to back up Tyde and Rubin, only to catch the Warrior of Stone deciding to stay behind.
Rolling her eyes, she gives Marros a nudge. "I won't be joining you. Get that bird to shout the 'all clear' to his comrades!"
Sliding by the wall next to Xanranzan, Kethra at first looks up to the swordsman with a dead expression as the cacophony of kenku sounds continue.

"Where are the dwarves? How did you come to be here?"
He leans over them menacingly, "And... don't... use... my... words... against... me!"
Intimidation: 11 (I rolled with advantage for the threats and the door flying off the hinges... but if not just use the 1st roll.)

The birds stay quiet, huddling on the floor. One of them looks at Tyde, cocks its head and says (in a deep voice):
"Take the captives away. Make sure their bonds are secure before you leave them."

"I do not know . . .headed where . . .the prisoners taken."`
