((Deeper into the caves would be more heroic I think. Saving some captives etc. Marros would like to think that's the more appropriate direction but his bravado is often just noise, so his real choice would likely be to follow the music))
Tyde comes back with Rubin to join Kethra, Xan, and Merros at the door.
"There's some prisoner's somewhere in this city. Keep an eye out for anything strange." Tyde wipes a stray strand of hair out of his eyes, "That being said, there's something strange behind this here door. I took a peek earlier and saw feather-clad musicians playing near a fountain. They may know something about this prisoner matter or maybe not, but they can at least answer a few questions maybe? Like where are we, what is this place called, and such things."
"Everyone ready?" Tyde nods to Kethra to open the door when everyone seems ready.
(there might be a consensus to try what's behind the door?)
"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
It took maybe a second longer than it should've, but Xanranzan soon look down to Tyde genuinely appearing a bit surprised. "Wait, what? Ya say'n that--aww man. Now I feel right silly now. 'cause, ya closed that door so darn quick, I thought there was maybe something dangerous behind it or somethin." Xan chuckles a bit and relaxed his guard. But after a second or two, the final question registers, leading to him to scrambling to get back into a sort of half-crouched ready position. "Aight, let's do this." He confirms.

"Sorry about that, Xan. I was trying to find the Kenku and deal with them with Rubin. I honestly didn't know what to make of the sights I saw when I first opened the door and decided to close it quickly and hope they didn't notice me."
"Besides, I prefer when we stick together, just in case we encounter something dangerous. It always seems easier for us to deal with when we use our combined might. Maybe instead of codes names we should start referring to our group by a name?"

"Y-You're kidding, right?" Kethra interjects, "We've all seen you use song and dance to explode things, put people to sleep or do allll sorts of dumb things. And that's not dangerous? I am more concerned...and since we're all in agreement, I'm opening this door. Everyone get ready to move in, they already know we're here."
She does nod at Mr. Tyde's suggestion. "You're right about sticking together, though. Whenever I've suggested splitting the party, it's always been received negatively...we work better when we're together and no one disagrees then."
She holds up the rope with the javelin tied to it and makes a suggestion, "We're like this rope, strong together, built to withstand the elements."
Undoing Rubin's knot, she tosses back his rope and keeps hers tied to the javelin. "Maybe we can name our party after that? What do you think?"
When everyone is ready, Kethra will open the door (object interaction) move forward and try to find some cover with her 40 ft of movement, taking the dodge action as the one taking point.
Tyde casts Mage Armor on himself and follows Kethra inside, sending Alistair to fly his full 60 feet into the room, and maintain a height of 20 feet (if there is room, otherwise as close to the ceiling as possible), and Alistair is also taking the Dodge action.
"I like that idea but I'm not the best with names, maybe we could add something descriptive to 'Rope' to make it stand out more. Something to worry about at another time perhaps." Tyde realizes that this might not be the right time or place to worry about what name they should all go by as a group.

Xanranzan opened his mouth as if intending to counter Kethra's points, only to close it and look away thoughtful for a second. And he gets reeeaaally side-tracked at whatever stray thought followed the petite woman's claims. So much so, that unless nudged or spoken to again, he only belatedly follows after everyone else into the room, and only as far as blocking the doorway if noone else had to make sure no feathered weirdo wasn't gonna slip past the group; swords in hands and stern look on his face that didn't at all match the panic deep within him.

A stone fountain stands in the middle of a grand plaza, its sides sculpted into the shapes of dwarves bearing drums and horns. Near the fountain, several figures in feathered attire play a shrill, discordant tune on flutes made of bone.
The room itself is about 70 by 60 ft., and one wall of it is the jagged wall of a cave.

(How far away is the fountain from the door we entered? And how far away are the figures? In the midst of their discordant tunes would they have noticed us? Since this is a plaza, is it safe to assume there is cover and dark places to sneak off to nearby?)

Rubin is staying near the outskirts of the chamber, into any shadowy areas (If any exist.) He will keep an eye out for trouble as he watches anyone approaching the musicians.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tyde will stride forward 30 feet and cast Thunderwave at 2nd level trying to get as many of the feathered bone-fluters as he can in his 15 foot AoE cube.
DC 14 CON save or take 13 thunder damage and be pushed 10 feet away from me. Only half damage on a save, no pushing away.
The spell emits a thunderous boom audible out to 300 feet.

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Nice," Kethra whispers back in awe to Mr. Tyde's handiwork.
"Watch my back," she now addresses the whole team, "I'll check it out and draw their attention."
Strolling out of the darkness, Kethra draws the musicians' attention (or anyone else nearby) by loudly clearing her throat while dressed in the white robe from the guards before.
"Didn't you hear the warning from the gatehouse? Everyone get out!"
The girl in the white robe advances carefully, taking a quick look around the plaza while taking the dodge the whole time. Fingers crossed, Kethra hopes that the blast and the white robe would be convincing enough. By the time she gets right into melee range with any musicians still on their feet, she'll take out the maul if they show any hostility.
"By the Light man!" exclaims Marros at the almost deafening boom emitted by Tyde. "You might want to warn us next time you decide to explode like that". He sticks a finger in his ear as if to clear out any ringing, his scimitar coming extremely close to taking the whole ear off. He waits with Xan to see what mischief their resident hammer toting warrior gets herself into.
"Had to act with haste or lose the element of surprise!"
Tyde should be in melee range of any bone-blowing fluters that made their saving throw and didn't get pushed back, or any that were not in the AoE to begin with.
Tyde will hold the Driftglobe out before him at arm's length, in the direction of the largest clustered group that remains near him, whether in melee or not and shout, "Now the Orb of seven lightnings will destroy you all!"
(ooc: One of the arcane foci listed for wizards is an orb, could I use this magical item as an arcane focus? I have a component pouch already so I don't have to use an arcane focus but was just curious, in case the need should ever arise.)

The figures haven't noticed you yet. The fountain is in the middle of the room, so about 30 ft into the room.
