“Ok, I’ll see if the butcher shop has any information. Thanks.” Ourick turns to his companions, “Our options are limited, guess we see if the butcher knows anything.”
Macawi let Jurney know what we found out from Skoona. She then heads up stairs for the night. When Journey gets to the room, he finds her not in her shell, but sitting on the floor in a meditative state mummering and tears are running down her face.
Journey will quietly enter the room, trying not to disturb Macawi. If there is any moonlight left, Macawi will see Journey out of the corner of her tear soaked eyes messing around with various tools, seeming to bend some metal and add in small scraps, tightening it with small nuts and bolts. If she asks he will show her his handiwork. He seems to use this work to distract himself, as when he goes to sleep, he wraps his tail around his legs and torso to comfort himself.
I wake up and briefly meditate for maybe 15 minutes. I make way down to the main area and find a seat, asking whoever is at the bar for a plate of breakfast.
With a loud yawn, Alan lazily meanders into the kitchen. He comes out with a plate of food that he puts down on the bar for Filvendor. He says, “You know, I was up half the night putting the place back together after you and yours trashed it.” He stares at Fil for a moment and adds “But you paid me well. So we are square.”
"Thats good. Yeah, sorry about all that. It looks like we lost our important source, Tarina. We will be heading over to the butcher soon, to ask him about her. Any insights you can give us about her, other contacts she may have had, people you tended to see her with? We appreciate any info you have, Alan." I settle in and dig into my food.
Alan says, “I don’t know more than I told your friend. I suspect Tarina lived near by, and I know she worked with Skoona on occasion.”
Alan slowly brings Ourick a plate of surprisingly delicious food.
As he rubs his eyes, Alan says, “I will have the grave digger come for Igor and Liam today. I’ll give him Tarina too...” his tone becomes quieter and sounds like a thinly veiled accusation “...unless the Flaming Fist as other plans for her.”

[what time in the day is it?]
((It is about 9:30pm at this point))
"We can make a quick trip to the butcher and then call it a night."
I ask Skoona if they know whether or not the butcher would be available to chat right now."
"Would she come out of the shop when you met?"
Skoona says, "Skoona no think butcher there if shop closed." To Macawi she says, "Maybe one time Tarina come out of shop. It hard to remember."
"It seems like we should ask the butcher in morning, since its closed."
“Ok, let’s get some rest and go in the morning”
"I agree, I could use some rest tonight"
((Just a reminder that you have payed for you rooms at the elfsong tavern until tomorrow morning))
"I'm heading to bed." I head up to my room. I complete some prayers before falling asleep.

Ourick heads up to his room, meditates for an hour cross-legged in the middle of the room then goes to sleep.

Your sleep is uneventful and the group wakes up to the smell of eggs and bacon wafting into your rooms through the floor boards.
