Mardon either shares any patterns he discerns with his own investigation, or, if he notes none, asks the others, "You see any rhyme or reason to this psycho's choice of homes to redecorate?"
"You may've mentioned this, but is there any connection 'tween the victims? Such as type o' work, frequented bars or the like?" Ander says as he continues to look over the map, trying to make connections.
The plot points are arranged in a fashion that they form 3/4 of a circle, with the incomplete part being on the bottom left corner.
Suddenly, you hear a small chime, X grabs a sending stone and walks off, he comes back a minute later.
"Well, guess what?" He pulls out a red pen and marks 4 more spots on the map, completing half of the remaining empty points. "Weird it forms a circle, ehh?"
"Guess we know where to look for the next bodies then..." Rubin says with a frown. "Now the only question is, are the dead residents of the area their body is found or were they killed elsewhere and then brought to these areas?"
"Could be the center of that circle is a good place to start looking," Mardon says, pointing his index finger at the spot. "Could either be about where our killer is returning to, he's not venturing far from his home, or it could have some special significance to them. Either way, I say we start there, and work our way out. Canvass for clues, witnesses, maybe get lucky and catch this maniac." Mardon stands, adjusting his coat, and adds, "Remember, Esme - I say stay back and you get clear."
To their contact, Mardon asks, "Who called you on the sending stone? You got an agent or informant in the area? Or one of the residents has access to one of your people? Just want to know where I'm getting my intel from this time."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ander nods in agreement with Mardon about the centre of the circle having some significance. He looks closely at the centre area of the killings to see what landmarks or points of interest he make out in that area (Investigation: 11)

"Exodus, our... founder, as he dose not prefer others call him a leader."

yes, there is a point of interest: a temple of tymora.
(OOC - I personally know a bit about Tymora but would any of our characters know anything about Tymora or her followers? Ander might, being a halfling, but I defer to your judgment on that point.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(So would Ander know much about what the followers or priests of Tymora as part of their worship? Specifically if there’s anything that might link them to the murders other than the fact that their temple is in the centre of the circle? Religion check: 18)
"Seems like we have a couple good leads." Rubin says. "Check out this temple at the center and watch the last section of the circle to see if we can catch them in the act." He frowns at the map. "Maybe the temple is the target, and this is some ritual or something..."
If the contact has no more information then Mardon is ready to set off, “You got it. We head to that temple and work our way out and we’re following the killer’s pattern. Makes good sense and it might let us see what they’re seeing, figure out their pattern.”
Ander would think that this might have a connection with the patron of death, Bhaal. A recent development in baulders gate sent some cultists marching to waterdeep. You have no idea why they might have a grudge, though.
Rubin glances over the map: 14
Mardon studies the map as well. Investigation: 13
"Hoisted to their chins... killer's pretty strong or p'haps he's got help."
Ander investigates the map: 19

"I'm much more use to underground maps, but..." Rubin says as he studies it. He would also tell the others about anything he notices.

I'd say so, as waterdeep is a multi cultured city.

(Edit - Nat 20 on a religion check?!)

Ander will relay any thing he can think of with regards to Tymora and her worshipers to Rubin and Mardon, and then head out with them.

So where do you go first?
