“Nice ta meet you Comfrey. Just here makin’ sure everythin’s in order. Had some reports o’ grave robbing around the city. Hope you’ve not had any troubles here?” Ander walks through the graveyard with Comfrey. “You run a tight... er... graveyard here. ’Tis good ta see.” As they continue to wander, Ander switches to some small talk, “Say, you wouldn’t have heard anythin’ about the murders ‘round here, have ya? Right awful mess. Poor souls. At least you’ve got ‘em covered here,” Ander smiles as he sweeps an arm to gesture at the surrounding graveyard.
"Oh yeh, all o' those poor folks get carted of to old Comfrey here. Me brothers got all winded up ba ma workin all day and not visiting him. Quite a messy time, eh?"
“Poor souls. I’m glad you can take care of ‘em. What can you tell me about ‘em? Anythin’ stand out to you? Hopefully things’ll settle down for ya soon so ya can see your brother.”
“More slashes, Basil says... hmm. That is dreadful,” Ander shakes his head in feigned disbelief. “Say, did Basil mention anythin’ else ‘bout these cuts? He seems like a well informed man, this friend of yours.”

Rubin would be hanging back, allowing the conversation to not be swayed by him. He would be keeping watch though, looking for anything strange happening around them.

"Ahh, you're mistaken, young man. Basil came ta see meh last week when he came through the parts, couldn't stay long, though. He saw dah bodies gettin carted in."
Mardon exits, leaving no sign of having entered the shack if possible, and joins Ander and Comrey. He introduces himself as an "associate" of Ander, then says, "Sounds like someone did a number of those bodies. You work around here, did you notice any pattern to the people chosen as victims? Or the houses they were pinned to?"
"Hmm, everyone around ear knows its organized in a circle, chased a bunch o ppl off. But grand priest is still optimistic and says that his noble god is shunning the unworthy. Ah don't believe in gods, though."
"The priest, here, in this church, says that Tymora, the freakin' luck goddess, is 'shunning' the unworthy? That these killings are somehow the work of the gods?" Mardon asks, raising an eyebrow. "That seems off-brand. Definitely worth having a chat with them. What's this priest's name?"
Ander repeats the comment, "Shunning the unworthy..." which makes him think of the cultists of Bhaal that he had recently heard about here in the city as well (post #559). "Would the bodies have been carted somewhere nearby? I take it they're not here if you've not had the chance to see them as well as Basil did."

Oh good gracious me! the bodies were carted here, in this graveyard!"
"I thought that would have been the case, but the way you were talkin', I thought maybe the guard took them elsewhere. You wouldn't have one that you've not buried yet, would you? My curiosity is most definitely piqued."

Mardon briefly pulls his allies aside to confer. "Ander, you look like you might have some theories on this. Seems weird, a Tyrmoran cleric, sayin' things like that, doesn't it?" Mardon asks. "Rubin, you think it's worth digging up one of the bodies, have a look at it? Hate to say we'll probably see another body drop before this is all over, but the way these killings have gone, we probably will. Might just want to let the dead rest, but if you or Ander think we can learn something valuable, I'm sure a victim wouldn't mind helping to see their killer brought to justice."

"I have no desire to go digging up bodies." Rubin says with a frown for the graveyard. "If we need to do so then that is fine, but it is never a good idea to disturb the dead..." He continues to scan their surroundings, his time in the underdark having taught him to be watchful at all times.
Ander nods in agreement, "I'd rather not disturb them if possible. There's the cultists of Bhaal that have recently resurfaced, but more cuts than necessary and the strength to lift a man could also be were-beasts," he shakes his head, "But without evidence in either direction, this is just speculation."

No, nothing suspicious is in the shack.
