Right on. I was also thinking that for you as the DM with 2 monks basically going for the same build it would be a pain to have to decide who would get certain individual missions or doubling up on the same tasks, etc. I'll work up the bard now:) Personally, I'm not worried about how long it takes for you to get set-up. Take your time :)
Oh totally! They were much overlooked in some past editions but have been brought up to speed in 5e! One of my favorite builds was a healing bard. In my opinion every bit as effective as a cleric without the religious hangups. lol
As we got Xozer as the fastest courier alive I'm thinking about switching characters to a male thylean nymph with far traveler background and position of secretary or loremonger.

Strike that. Brian and I think alike :) I'll go with the monk and am looking forward to Brian's bard. I love them bards too, especially the eloquence and glamour ones for full tilt social geniuses.
OK Cool! My character is done mechanically but I'm still working on backstory and personality. I don't really want to fall into a typical/easy story of a travelling bard collecting stories.
Alura was born in the Autumn court of the Feywild. She was very happy there for her youth, learning music and acting. She even wrote her own play "Bird and Bear Share" that was regularly performed in the Spring court. However, once she matured her hair started changing, then her skin. She started to take the pallor of a Drow. While this was fairly common and more and more common everyday the memory of the elves is long. She could see old hatred in sideways glances and hear it in words couched in dual meanings. She decided she would see how folks mingled outside the Feywild. She would collect knowledge of all the races and all the people she could find. She would immortalize their stories and their experiences. Hearing that GSC was looking for a loremonger it seemed like the perfect fit. A place she could support herself while furthering her true goal. To show that no matter who you are, where you're from, what race or class you were born or trained into... all our stories share a common thread.
Also i will swap the lore from the document to the trello once i got time. And as of now the finances are not so important, so im looking for a solution there. As for the contracts, they are intentionally kept vague as they will be given and explained to you on your first day.
Ok. Perfect. I will also join for Mr. Books. I will write the background for the setting of forgotten realms with a long travel at the end which brings Melias to Pley. Would that work? Do I need some kind of portal or dimension door?
Yeah i dont see a problem there. Its supposed to be fun, so if you think that lets you enjoy the game more, then go for it!
besides, im really sorry for taking so long. I have made the map and will add the first tasks in about 10h.

Treewy, take all the time you need!
BTI_Brian, I love 5E bards. The class is so much fun now!

I'm playing a College of Lore Bard in another campaign right now. She's one of my favorite characters ever.

I need to re-assess how Run't feels himself in this company.. everyone's a superman and his special ability is turning into a horse...
Don't worry. You are the only one who will get wind walk. So hero days ahead.
Also, Helga's special ability is being pedantic and telling people what to do. Run't will be fine.
So i added the first contracts in the trello. Pick one and i we will start with the game

I also need to write down the backstory for mine and would like to read the lore before departing on the adventure.
Oh, that might help me actually Moira. Seeing the lore for this campaign :)
DM, I asked for permission to access the google sheet. Do you have it on a privacy setting or something?

I asked for permission, too and can’t access the doc yet either.
How do you envision the Trello board fitting into the campaign?
I think that a spreadsheet for finances makes sense. Need access, of course, so sharing with public link would work fine.
Treewy, maybe you could put up a lore board on Trello with all the information from the google doc, so we can read it right away.
I like the missions via Trello. Maybe we could have more information on the contact and the mission written down, at least the stuff we all know.
My new backstory. I hope it's not too heavy.

I'll take Benjamin K Books. I added BTI to the card and moved it to ongoing in trello.
