The 14 reveals the items of note. The leader’s goggles are valuable, it seems. During a subsequent long rest these can be Identified using Arcana, or the Identify Spell. They are Goggles of Night, no attunement required. The leader’s half plate, 2 battle axes, six javelins, quiver, and longbow with 20 arrows are all in good shape. There is a block and tackle, a whetstone, and various small gems and coins worth 240 gold pieces in total.
Nanoc is still leery about stepping out on the exposed ledge that was the harpy's nest. However, he will go and Investigate if Okkar does. (Investigation check, if needed and for what it is worth as he has no bonuses: 14 ).

AKA: Phillip Berrie: writer, editor and academic thrillseeker—a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Lastly the harpy left behind one bullseye lantern loaded with oil, but no refills, and what looks like some sort of military insignia from the Droaam military, which someone with the soldier background can discern rank from, and otherwise is worth 10 gold if sold.
Ilecerys nods as the harpies depart, then turns to the group. "Apologies for my impetuousness. These elvish ears never cared much about the harpy's song, and the fiend's spindly legs were ripe for a sweep."
If someone wants to take a very thorough look, Evan can Help them (to give advantage) and Guidance (to give a 1d4 bonus). We should have plenty of time to do a thorough search.
Also, Evan wants to dismantle that throne of bones and properly interr the remains of the sapeint creatures.

“It was a days detour, but worth it,” Okkar admits. “It’s not enough to get Steelhand back into the clan’s good graces, but it is helpful, getting these harpies away from our territory. You all did good with that ambush. This could have gone a lot worse. Guess your luck goddess was on our side, priest.”

If you are taking a longer rest here, there is time - one additional Investigation with Advantage aided by Bless with the highest members bonus. As you are dismantling the throne and nest, I am also lowering the DC to 15.
(( In future, if time permits, Guidance/Bless/Help for Taraven is probably a good plan -- Galtheon will offer 'Help' and forgo his own roll (I assume that's how it works?); probably, if time permits anyone else who rolls can assume guidance? How should we handle this? ))
Among the criss crossing leg guards on the harpy leader’s bird like legs was one pair of straps that actually appear to be an additional item of significance - Bracers of Archery (identified later). Beneath the throne and partially buried in the nest itself is a small lockbox containing a private stash of coin and gems worth an additional 720 Gold Pieces. That is the entirety of the valuables.
(( For what it's worth, my initial suggestions would be:
Googles to Nanoc or Evan (probably Nanoc since he sneaks more and would benefit hugely from night vision)
Amour, Axes and Javelins to horses for later sale (armour is appealing to Galtheon, but wrecks stealth - guessing it's not mithral...)
Galtheon would grab the quiver...if no-one objects...he must have lost his on the way here; and put the arrows with the spares on his horse
Looks like Evan was eyeing the bow; he can have it and quiver with arrows if he wants. (with permission, I will assume Galtheon bought one at the town - not having one is an oversight)
Leave the whetstone if noone wants
Split the gems etc 5 ways - 192 = 48(edit) + 144 each + 6 from before = 198
Bracers of Archery (While I like the idea of Beavers of Archery...I'm guessing that's Bracers)
Galtheon would still like the Ring of Protection, FWIW...but it might be better with Ilecerys, who has no ranged weapons and certainly melees a lot ...
In terms of the Bracers, Galtheon would also like those, but they might better go to Evan who currently has no ranged weapons AND who can't use the longbow we just found without the bracers...
The goggles looked interesting. Around Silent Singer's neck...

If this is allowed and makes a difference, then here is another roll 19

Evan:
Investigation: 13
There was a bow and some goggles as well, right?
Gerrard Feldren - Human Noble in Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
Yes, a longbow with 20 arrows and a quiver, goggles were Goggles of Night, they grant Darkvision 60 and do not require attunement.
Ilecerys nods as the harpies depart, then turns to the group. "Apologies for my impetuousness. These elvish ears never cared much about the harpy's song, and the fiend's spindly legs were ripe for a sweep."
OOC: No one had a 20 or higher, correct?
Galtheon chuckles at the Monk's comment, "It worked."
I think 19 was it...Galtheon didn't roll but 'Helped' Taraven on a second roll. I don't think Okkar rolled...

Guidance to Taraven would have been good!
(She seems a natural investigator with the notes she took on the dead harpy -- that would put her at 19+1d4...if Galtheons help was permitted above)
I will allow this, as the order of posts might have altered this anyway.

I am proficient in arcana. Can I use it to study the bracers of archery?
