“If Okkar is right, we should not have to worry about racing away from the mine entrance on the horses—what is in the mine stays in the mine. I don’t see why we shouldn’t go in tonight and see what we are dealing with. If I know more specifics of what I am facing, I can perhaps pray for spells in the morning more specifically suited to the challenges ahead,” counsels Evan.
OOC: Not that time is super critical, but we can save ourselves a long rest if we take a shot now, then come back and long rest and hit it again in the morning...

If entering, the double doors allow two people to enter side by side if they do wish. What would the party’s general order of entry, aka marching order, be?

If we go in, Evan would want to be close to the front, using Perception to watch for threats and with his light spell blazing on the emblem of his shield (his favored location for illumination). He will also suggest someone bring in the lantern they found, so they will have multiple light sources.

"And I won't be going in first," Nanoc adds. "Not with undead dwarves coming out of the floor. That sounds more like something a priest needs to handle."

“I was fine with going in after dawn,” Okkar answers Nanoc. “I don’t suppose it would hurt to just scout out the first chamber. I would expect trouble, if it goes like last time. You all are the professional adventures.”

Absolutely - rope could easily make the two side alcove entrances scale able. It was a relatively simple athletics check but with ropes strung through no checks at all would be required.
For Evan, and anyone else who made a DC 15 religion check, you have some knowledge of this particular creature. This matches the description of Stoneghosts.
They are indeed a rare form of Undead. You know they are Resistant to cold, fire, lightning; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-magical weapons, but magical weapons will harm them as normal. They are Vulnerable to radiant and thunder. They are immune to necrotic and poison damage, as well as paralysis, poison, and sleep. Unlike other ghosts, they are actually material beings - the term "Stoneghost" is inaccurate. They are mistaken for true ghosts by their ability to move through earth and stone. Other surfaces such as wood block them as any other material creature.
Evan reminds the group of what he knows about Stoneghosts.

Taraven's curiosity is getting the better of her especially after what was seen on the entrance doors. She would go in
(( So we possibly have Evan, Taraven, Ilecerys, Galtheon...all we need is Nanoc and Okkar... ))

Taraven agrees with Evan, "I agree. If we do not venture too far into the mine, we can see for ourselves what we are up against."

Also any buff spells, etc, note those as well.

I have Evan as one of the two in front (again, it allows for side by side, 2 in row 1, 2 in 2, 2 in 3.
Galtheon is now set up for being in the front line, and has decent perception. It seems we might have Nanoc out front stealthy.
Some ideas for discussion:
- Nanoc
- two of Galtheon, Ilecerys and Evan as front line
- (Oneof the above) + Taraven
- Okkar
OR, protect rear as well, and employer in middle:
- Nanoc
- two of Galtheon, Ilecerys and Evan as front line: eg. Evan and Ilecerys
- Okkar + Taraven
- (One of the alternate front line) : eg: Galtheon
))
"You really want to go in now!" exclaims Nanoc, chewing on a piece of bird wing. "You people are crazy. You haven't even eaten."
He then turns to Okkar and asks, "What about you, Okkar? Have you got the treasure bug too?"

After Nanoc's comments, Galtheon suggests:
- Ilecerys and Evan as front line
- Galtheon + Taraven
- Okkar + Nanoc
He is happy to swap with Ilecerys
Absolutely - rope could easily make the two side alcove entrances scale able. It was a relatively simple athletics check but with ropes strung through no checks at all would be required.
Once we get into the room, given Okkars description, we might try to go with:
With the view that Galtheon and Nanoc can attack from the sides given the space...(( spacing of diagram is for clarity)
Edit: If Ilecerys isn't around, swaping G & I might be sensible.

Galtheon grunts, and e holds up his weapons: a scimitar and a short sword. "Not magical".
"Guess I'll just hit harder."
