“I might as well join you,” the halfling bows, “My name’s Fennys Swiftwhistle, nice to meet-“. Fennys gets interrupted with the dwarf singing terribly and winces at his notes being out of tune.
”Anyways, what brings you here strangers?”

Fire bolt- Shoot a streaking ball of fire towards a foe and deal a measly 1d10 fire damage. Use eldritch blast instead.
Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.
Vanille is slightly startled as the warforged speaks up, caught off guard at the mention of Dao. "Yes! That was the client I traveled here to meet," she says a bit too enthusiastically. She quickly brightens up and walks a bit closer, taking note of the group that had gathered at the inn. "I wasn't aware that he'd requested such a large number of people for the job, but I'm relieved that my unpunctual arrival hasn't seemed to hinder things."
At the mention of her staff, she turns to look at the fire genasi, a hint of awe in her red eyes as she notices the runes on his body and the fiery semblance he gives off. "I do, but unfortunately I just arrived in town and haven't been here for long," the halfling says, shaking her head. "I'm afraid my capabilities might not be suited to what you're looking for," she says apologetically.
Vanille listens as Treenja speaks, and takes a moment to ponder once he finishes. "Oh my, twelve of us, you say? It's true that this is unexpected for a simple delivery job, but I suppose there's no turning back now."
"My name is Vanille Lumani'i, consider me part of the team," she says courteously to the rest of the group.
Vanille takes the pouch and pockets the coin with a silent nod, still perplexed at the amount that was offered for such a seemingly simple job, but she wasn't going to complain.
Back at the tavern, Thoradin has now bought several rounds for his compatriots and says There be a dwarven tradition that be needed here. When ye be settin' out on a journey ye first send yer spirit on the journey first to clear the way o'bad luck. Now I be no bard but I can carry a tune alright fer a dwarf. He then begins to sing in a deep baritone.
As he sings he looks at the group assembled, each vastly different and yet all sharing a common yearning for something more. It may be they are looking for belonging, or vengeance, or something as simple as to stave away boredom, but a common feeling nonetheless. Finishing his song, which wasn't great but sung with enthusiasm, he turns to Quinn and says Perhaps a real singer can wash me voice from the people's ears? Care to regale us with a tune Quinn?
Quinn chuckled jovially "You're not too bad a singer at all Thoradin! Or maybe I just like that tune." Quinn produced a lute, slowly strumming the strings "Do you mind if I give it a try? In my own way of course." He finished tuning his instrument and raised his voice to sing Thoradin's song, but this time in elvish.

Yes, You are totally sober after downing that drink
“Don’t you think 12 adventurers for such a simple delivery task is a bit, uhh, unusual? I’ve never seen a group this large in my lifetime.”
“Also, I don’t drink beer but thanks for the offer,” replies Fennys when she’s handed beer as she pushes it away from her. Humming lightly, she pulls out her lute, strumming it lightly then into a simple yet charming tune, trying not to be noticed.
