Jaro will read through the document, “Seems reasonable, except that you have yet to tell us what task she has for us yet. I don’t know about the others, but I will not sign this until I know what it is she wants from us.”
Caravas frowns at the two who have declined, so far, to sign the contract. "I am not able to disclose the task that Dalia will set for you. I will allow that this contract is null and void if you decide not to take her up on her task, so that should not be a concern to you. Please sign the contract so that things can proceed in an orderly fashion..." He shows you where, in the contract, there is a clause for you to decline Dalia's task, and be allowed to leave the island without any further requirements or work on your behalf. His tone is disbelieving that anyone would not take Dalia up on whatever mission she might have for them.
"Not much for these sorts of things..." Stalker says, glancing over the document. He takes time to read it all, and even to ask specific questions of various sections. After getting responses back , he nods and signs as well.
Perdan reviews the documents and thinks for a moment. "Are these in reference to Dalia, to the island or in general. For example, the trespassing. Should she require us to obtain an item from say a location but it is protected by a beast in his layer. We would be trespassing in it's eyes. Do we then violate the contract and then are subjected to the fine despite following the goals and objectives of the the task or is this merely in regards to Dalia and her property."

" The rules of the island are the laws enforced there, they do not affect this contract in any way." He tells you. (There are two documents, the contract and the islands's laws.)
"The island rules are Dalia's and she can overlook them at her own leisure." He does tell you though.
As the ship glides smoothly into the bay of the island, you can see many features of the small resort town that even from this distance convey a sense of incredible artistry and beauty. The sand of the nearby beach glitters with tiny flecks of gold, giving off a sparkling radiance in the warm sunlight. The city itself curves with the grace of elven architecture, but is fashioned from valuable metals and stone that remind you of the genius of dwarven craftsmen. Noteworthy are massive towers, upon which are nestled golden eyes that seem to rotate with intention, observing all those who move about the city with a watchful gaze. Overlooking it all, nestled within a verdant jungle, stands a mansion that serves as the residence of Dalia Concordat, almost inconspicuous next to the splendor that lays before it.
Before disembarking, the players are warned again by Caravas that any attempt to attack Dalia and her interests, as outlined in their contract, or any other kind of violation of the contract will result in a violent response from the island's security system. If pressed, he indicates that the security includes a powerful network of Fortune Golems as well as the eye-topped-towers, known as the Towers of Midas, which will immediately and forcefully attempt to subdue them. He goes further in stating that these weapons are powered by Dalia's own hand through an item known as the Grasp of the Pharaoh, a mythical magical item of phenomenal power, which no visitor has been able to match on the field of battle. For proof of this, he recommends visiting The Trophy Case, a museum adjacent to Dalia's mansion, where the players can learn of the ancient empire of Amun-Hakkor, from which the relic was unearthed. He also recommends visiting the beachfront tavern, The Lap of Luxury, at which the finest alcoholic drinks across seven worlds are available for consumption. He finalizes his advice with the stipulation that Dalia expects an audience with them around dinner time.
Upon arrival he mutters to himself, "Really? The most powerful artifact in existence and there's a problem she can't resolve? Something's not right here..."
As you disembark The Prosperous Venture, you immediately witness more wealth within your first few minutes than you have seen in your entire life. Every building is ornately decorated, every street corner brightly furnished. Magic suffuses this place, as the residents and visitors are able to afford conveniences that would make even kings jealous. Animated illusions advertise services and luxury goods from luminescent shops. A troupe of dancing skeletons manipulated by some unseen wizard seeks to entice shoppers into a concert hall to hear the latest series of requiems from a bardic quartet native to the Negative Energy Plane. Without a doubt one could find the finest pieces from across the planes here, or the most depraved substances from its darkest corners. Even more startling than the shops are the shoppers themselves. Clearly this place is a nexus of powerful activity. Particularly plentiful are djinn, selling and buying large quantities of goods. However, every so often you catch the sight of stray celestials, fiends, dragons and other powerful creatures, all kept in line by the city's impressive defenses.
As you leave the ship, Caravas once more gives you stern-sounding advice not to provoke the island's security system.
"I can offer you a test of that system if you wish." He tells the group, giving them an amused smirk. "Many adventurers, and other powerful beings, do not believe how powerful the system truly is, not until they face it for themselves." He looks the group over with a slightly lifted eyebrow. "Do you care to test your metal against it, or are you going to take my word for it's effectiveness?"
Jown Sno says, "I am not in the mood to provoke unwarranted hostility. I will take your word on the effectiveness of the security here."
Though he does wonder what could be so important that Dahlia would request the assistance of people like him to help do... something. She has more wealth than several kings combined, some of the most powerful artifacts in existence and garners admiration from powerful beings such as celestials, fiends and dragons. What more can any person possibly want and more disturbingly... when will it be enough if ever?
Stalker frowns over at Jown. "Is that wisdom with age, or getting soft?" He asks the other warrior with a frown. "The aging process of you humans is always so interesting to observe..." He shrugs though and nods to their host. "I too have no desire to test the power of the island's defensive measures."
Jown smiles and says, "Perhaps it's a bit of both. Though I personally don't think I've ever been a hot-headed type. Angry towards my enemies maybe but not one to charge into combat."
Jaro will read through the document, “Seems reasonable, except that you have yet to tell us what task she has for us yet. I don’t know about the others, but I will not sign this until I know what it is she wants from us.”
Gilra nods with Jaro.
"Violence is forbidden? Really? Are there other ways to solve a problem?"
Caravas frowns at the two who have declined, so far, to sign the contract. "I am not able to disclose the task that Dalia will set for you. I will allow that this contract is null and void if you decide not to take her up on her task, so that should not be a concern to you. Jora will nod at the concession and sign the contract.

Raist signs the document and says, "I would not be on this boat if I did not trust Dalia as least a little bit, not that I know too much about her."
Merlin signs and seems a little too confident. "What is there to be afraid of. BAH"
Lot's of stuff ...
" The rules of the island are the laws enforced there, they do not affect this contract in any way." He tells you. (There are two documents, the contract and the islands's laws.)
"The island rules are Dalia's and she can overlook them at her own leisure." He does tell you though.
Malus reads over the contract carefully, then signs it.

Jown reads the contract and the laws. Upon some few clarifications, he signs it. "Sure... Why not."
Gilra nods and signs as well.

"Oh, I would like to see this item in action, I wonder if she will let me study it." Raist mutters as he follows the group to their host.
Jaro will smile slightly, “In action, no. But if the opportunity presents itself, I wouldn’t mind taking one apart to examine it.”
"I shall pass as well. Not one to intentionally invite harm upon myself," Perdan says as he follows along.
