"Thank you, Magus. We will see if we can find Falami. Failing that, perhaps we may obtain her whereabouts from this Xyrowmyn." Looking at his companion, he says, "If you have no additional questions for the Magus, Mialee, we should let him attend to his students."
After they leave the Magus, Talinian suggests they wander in the garden, asking after Falami. If they cannot find her, they can ask Xyromyn.
Pietersite would have spent the night helping Bones and Strong as Oak fix the displays. Archeologists very rarely have access to a first-hand source like this, so he would try to pump SaO for everything he can remember, from any Druidic lore or rituals he remembers from his time, to anything about those lords and kings he mentioned.
In the morning, he will join Bones in talking to Glynnis, spending more time with her than Bones does. In addition to just her mistakes, he'll talk about things like if they can come up with ways to improve her technique so she'd be more likely to have come up with the correct conclusions from her findings. And he'll ask her if she minds their work in using the ghosts memories to fix her displays, it is her museum after all. But eventually, he too goes to rest.
Glynnis seems very upset over the mistakes that she has made. She closes up the Museum with a sign that reads "Closed for the week to fix mistakes with exhibits"
In the garden you do run into the senior gardener Gimlinel, a land elf, who points out to you Xyromyn but has not seen Falami in weeks, but last time she was in the garden Falami was asking about compost.
Xyromyn is a short gnome, and I mean short for a gnome, well under 3 feet tall. But very round, she does not miss a meal. Her hair is wild and right now there is a vine with a few leaves still on it stuck in her hair, it's new from today, but she can not tell that it is there. After a quick introduction and you asking about Falami she asks with her high pitched voice, think the chipmunkettes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talinian glances at Mialee, then down at the diminutive gnome. "She may have performed a spell or ritual at the old practice building, what is now the museum, and I have some questions for her about it."
"OOoohhh my." Xyromyn seems to be confused. "This does not seem much like her. She left 2 or was it 3 days ago, I can not remember. She said she would be back with in a week or so."
Talinian nods in understanding. Pulling himself to his full height, he looks down at her "Well, I am afraid this leaves me but little choice, officially speaking. Kindly conduct me to her quarters, please, Mistress Xyromyn."
Mialee would agree with Talinian, following him out to leave Magus to attend to his students. She'd agree to look for Falami, going to Xyromyn if they cannot find her. True to her silent nature, the warrrior would accompany Talinian through the garden. Upon meeting up with Xyromyn, Mia appreciated Talinian taking the lead as always. She'd nod along, holding he stance tall and affirmatively with his request.
Xyromyn seems to be a little hesitant on taking you to Falami’s quarters. But between the two of you she does take you there. The room is a mess, think a high school boy’s room, who lost something, and rather than cleaning to find it they have thrown everything anywhere. Except the desk that is in the room, that is clean and organized. Books stacked, at first they look rather random, due to the fact that they are not stacked by size, but once you start looking you see they are in alphabetical order by the second letter of the authors’ first name. Her notes seem to be written out in some kind of code, most likely once of Falami’s own creation. Each book has sections that are about life, and healing. Go ahead and make an investigation check for me Talinian, with advantage seeing as I am going to assume that Mia would give you help.
Talinian as you are investigating her desk you find a hidden rune, it is not to complicated. It requires you to sing or play a specif tone to open it up. Performance check DC 11.
“Look at we have discovered, Mialee. A rune of locking. It requires this tone,” he hums a bit of it, “to open the drawer. I have heard you sing and you are much better than I. I will provide accompanyment to your singing but I believe your skill offers the best chance of success. And, if you wish to ask your diety for aid, that would not be untoward.”

"Shall we?" Mialee would nod giving Talinian a small smile, glad he was joining her in this exercise. She'd begin to hum a tone from her diety's hymn prior to transitioning to the tone Talinian sang for her.
ooc: does anyone else dislike DMs that are slaves to the dice? Doing a different adventure right now and feel the need to vent.
(OOC - Complaining about me already? Haha, kidding. Some DMs do take rolls super serious. When I first started out, I was a stickler for the DC and rolls, but I play it a little more relaxed now. Especially when players give a bit of flare and RP. Plus I had a low level party almost TPK once, that I thought I'd change the DC for a monster ability.)

(OOC - scrap that then. Bones would be working with him overnight, not during the day, based on his knowledge of spirits.)
(Thats what I figured you would do. Are you going to stay up and talk with Glynnis about the mistakes that she has made?
