Talinian comes back to himself and relates what he saw. "Now that we are revealed, we should move toward the nearer camp, being prepared to defend ourselves against Fallentin."
Mialee would activate he divine sense to [Tooltip Not Found]. Perhaps it could be useful for her to keep tabs on their surroundings as they shift, and maybe she might discover something else. It was worth a shot. Either way she'd stay vigilant while doing her best to remain still as the group discussed their approach. With some magical senses active, her eyes would scan the area with the shared group intel in mind.
"Talinian, Bone's, what are your thoughts..." Breaking her silence, Mia would start to quietly share some thoughts. "If the goal is to try to investigate the tent without being detected so you can gather information and/or have an element of surprise, you'd have the most success without me." She'd offer an inspiring smile. "And if you accidentally attract attention, I can then make more noise, try to lure them away from the tent and keep them busy until you figure out the next steps?" The blonde's hands would find her hips feeling pretty confident about her suggestion. Hopefully it was of use.
Mia would offer Talinian guidance and inspiration (10 mins +1d6).
"Perhaps I send in Cinders to have a look around while we stay back. A spider might get by more unnoticed than a bird. And he may be able to get into that tent for us too." Bones strokes his beard in thought.
So I'll say that Cinder goes to the tent being guarded to investigate. He finds a half-orc woman in the tent, she looks exhausted. Sweat dripping from her face, you see a pile of bones stacked to one side and a fresh skeleton finishing allowing the magic to take it's control. The half-orc, assumed to be Falami, falls into a chair at a desk, he sees burnt paper rolls, used spell scrolls scattered throughout the tent.
Bones relays this to the others as he looks through Cinder's many eyes. He then guides Cinder to a safe space and the spider fades from existence only to appear crawling out of the rock gnome's long beard. "Nice work, my little friend," he scratches the spider, then looks to the others, "So, we have an opportunity as it looks as though Falami has exhausted herself, but many skeletons to get through. Any thoughts?"
ooc: Hello, everyone. I'm leaving for Germany today. In all the excitement I forgot to let you all know. I will have my computer and phone and internet and downtime (I think) so I plan to stay current but if I lag, please feel free to bot my character. Thanks!
It is not exactly dead center, but it's close to being the center of what would have been the battle field. From where you are standing, center of the edge of the camp, you really can't see it unless you are looking for it. The two stationary guards are at are about a third of the way from the edge of the battle field from a left to right stand point, but the same distance front to back. The roaming guard is roaming in the far army camp.
(OOC - read back and Talinian didn't mention the sword to us or what Baltor had seen. I'm assuming that if he's relayed information about the camp, then he would have mentioned the sword as well? If not, I can change this part.)
"Wait," Bones says, putting a hand on both Mia and Talinian's shoulder. "You mentioned a sword that stood out as different in the field earlier. That patrol of skeletons we took out may have been looking for it. Should we go and obtain it? And then, if our apprentice mage is searching for it, do we risk bringing it with us into the camp?"
Mia just shrugs. She shared her thoughts a while back and was promptly ignored. Her participation mattered not. She’d take up the rear for what ever direction they took.
Bones looks to the others for a moment, considering the options. "You mentioned luring the guards away before, Mia. Can you do so without putting yourself in harms way? Perhaps we lure some away to open up a path straight to the tent and make headway for that?"
Talinian realizes as Bones is speaking to the paladin that he had failed to respond to her. He catches her eye and nods his apology. Showing respect for others is important to him and he is always upset when he failed to do that. He waits for her answer but privately does not think splitting their forces is a good idea.

"Did the skeletons about the camp appear to be moving for us, or preparing for us?" Bones said as he inspected the skeletons.
Not exactly, there were three static guards, two as a "front line" and one in front of a tent. The 4 is a roaming guard, they are walking the camp.

The tiefling wizard nods. "Yes, that's a good idea. Let us try to strike during her time of weakness. Mia?" He turns to the paladin.

How do you want to move? To the left, right or up the middle? Do you want to go look at the sword that was seen by beltor?

Talinian glances at Xamyra, then at the other two. "I suggest we take down the enemy first, and then retrieve any artifacts, including the weapon."

Bones nods, "Well then, let's proceed. I say we make a straight line for that tent in that case."
