(DM Question - is this sarcophagus open? Also, I forgot to ask, is Cinder seeing any undead in any of these chambers too? Do you want me to roll perception checks for that? Also, how wide are the halls between rooms, or is it just a case of room next to room with only a door between?)
Bones relays the path to the group. From the first room with four knight statues go east, then north from the knight's sarcophagus, then east from the elf's sarcophagus. He gets Cinder to do a once over of the room, checking for anything else in the room before moving on through the eastern doorway.
There is nothing else in the room. Cinder moves to the east door.
This corridor runs 30 feet north-to-south. It is 10 feet wide at its widest point. There are two exits: one to the north and one to the south. Both exits have been propped open with a large chunk of rock.
Against the east wall, there is an 8-foot tall stone tablet with elven runes written upon it. to the left and to the right of the stone table are two 3-foot wide and 2-foot tall wooden chests. the chests do not appear to have any locks on them.
Bones mentions the long hallway, the elven runes and the chests. "I'll obviously leave them be for the moment. Cinder is not as adept at searching treasure chests as one of us would be, but it's worth making a note of them." Cinder makes his way carefully along the hallway's roof towards the northern door.
(Oh wait sorry. Have I misread something? Where does he come out into this long north-south room? And where are these stairs? In my head he'd come out at the south end and the corridor led north along a long flat corridor, but upon rereading it, I could be mistaken - Sorry!)
You miss read, and I messed up. The north door is the one you came in, the south door is the other door, and I forgot that I didn't tell you that it opened to a stair case.
(I know...we won't leave you there :). Also, you cannot 'control' your familiar after 100 feet, which you have probably exceeded. That's the limit of telepathic communication. Familiar's are independent entities that obey your commands but if you cannot communicate you cannot obey :) I'm sure your last command was 'explore.' I'm just saying we have enough information the party to get going.)
(I have been tracking distance, I asked it earlier, and then posted 100 feet, part of that was to keep everyone aware.)
As Cinder starts to head down the stairs you lose your connection to him, your vision slowly gets fuzzy and then cuts out and you are returned to your own body. What do you all do?
(Ah true. I did forget that point of 100ft. Sorry Coach, I thought you meant dark vision in that question.)
Bones snaps his fingers to return Cinder to him and scratches his back with a finger. He looks to the group, "Well, we have a bit of the crypt mapped and it seems clear enough. Shall we?" As he says this, Bones will start gathering and checking his things, standing and ready to descend when everyone else is.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We shall," Gorm answers and immediately steps up to the entrance. She keeps her hand on the handle of her shortsword but leaves it sheathed for now. Gorm will peer down the steps and then try to descend as quietly and sneakily as she can. Stealth17
Olivia pipes up, realizing she's being talked to a few seconds after the words process to her mine, "Do you think that ki mixing thing is an option again? Might help if we don't have any light with us."
Bones whispers to Gorm as he sneaks into the crypt behind him. "Keep an eye out for traps. Just because Cinder did not see any, doesn't mean they don't exist here. I can offer guidance to you as required, just let me know when you'd like my aid."

Gorm pauses just inside the entrance. “Yes, of course,” she says to Olivia. Gorm concentrates first a moment, centers herself and reach her Ki out... Gornngently taps the spot just above Olivia’s nose, between her eyes, and grants Darkvision to Olivia. She smiles briefly then returns to the entrance.
Gorm nods to Bones and gives a brief shrug. “Don’t know much about traps or what to look for, but I’ll keep an eye out... thanks.” While stealthing in, Gorm will also do her best to look for traps... 18
((just straight roll if Investigation, add 2 if it’s perception...))

Closed.
Wall and door, no halls, walls are about 5 feet.
There is nothing else in the room. Cinder moves to the east door.

Does he go down the stairs? On the ceiling of course.

(No worries :) )
Cinder will creep along the roof of the corridor towards the south door and down the stairs.
"I think we know enough to start our own explorations. Are we going to utilize a light spell or a torch?" Talinian asks.

(OOC - just remember Bones is currently blind & deaf as he’s controlling his familiar.)

What's up with the dice roller lately? Hmph. Stealth: 13
Bones gets up and follows Gorm into the crypt (stealth: 20).
Talinian moves in behind Bones, his staff at the ready, spells ready to fly. "Olivia, are you going to light a torch or a lantern?"

Bones touches Gorm's shoulder as he passes into the crypt, aiding him with guidance (add 3 to your check).
