”Twitch and Si’Juul are right, it is called ’crab’ in common. And thank you Ponki for getting us such a wonderful dinner.” 

Poinki proudly puts a pan of water on the fire and as he waits for it to boil, quietly dispatches and cleans the crabs.  Soon the crabs are boiling and ready for dinner.

(Assuming you don't want to do anything else tonight I'll need an order of watch and a perception check from all of you.)

Poinki will offer to take the last watch in the morning. (Perception 9 ) While standing guard, he will poke around the immediate surroundings looking for potential breakfast. (If he finds nothing, he will plan to cook some rations for the party.) Survival: 5

Si'Juul will take the 3rd watch.

Most of your watches pass without anything happening, though Twitch find Elhanna asleep when he wakes. As Poinki is searching in vain for more food he sees a large, dark shape moving about 3 miles off the coast. It has the appearance of a ship but it is larger than he has ever seen before. Before he can make it back to the others it disappears into the moning mist again.

In the morning after Si'Juul wakes, he will step outside the hollow hill a few steps and stretch his wings out fully.

Poinki keeps a nervous eye out to sea as he cooks the breakfast. "Saw something big," he mutters, pointing at the ocean. "Gone now."

"Probably a ship. We are still near the port town we were in so that's not surprising. Unless it was somehow coming toward us on land, I don't think we have anything to worry about."

Elhanna wakes up and thank Ponki for the breakfast, she doesn’t mention the fact that she fell asleep to anyone unless Twitch brings it up. “What did it look like?” She ask Ponki then turn to Si’Juul “Si’Juul, you should stay to the ground today, if there are in fact someone looking for you, rumors of a large flying bird man is sure to tip them off.” 

"Yes, flying over town wasn't my wisest move, but I had a lot on my mind then. Plus if any Black Brand members were there I would have encountered them at some point. Depending on the terrain from here to our destination, I might not need to take flight."

Twitch quickly stows her kit in the waxed sailcloth, and within a quarter of an hour, she's ready to hit the road again. "Shall we?"

"I doubt we have reason to stay here, so yes, let's get back on the road."

Si'Juul starts walking down the road again, keeping an eye out for any person or animal that might be a threat.

Perception: 22

The sun rises, crests and begins it's slow journey back down to the horizon as you walk. As you continue further north the coast road merges with the beach and a long flat stretch of comfortable sand becomes your path.

It's about mid-afternoon when a dark shape begins to emerge out to the shimmering mirage ahead of you. Si'Juul's sharp eyes pick out the outline, three tall masts and a hull that looks worn and weathered over time. The wreck sits about half above the high tide line.

"Well Poinki, is that the 'something big' you saw this morning?"

Si'Juul points to the ship.

"Doesn't look in the best shape, yet still floats."

As you approach further Poinki can see that the ship is much smaller than what he saw. You can also see that it's not so much floating as resting in a depression in the sand. It's keeled over at about a 15 degree angle and appears to have a large hole in the side facing you.

Poinki shakes his head. "Too small," he says. "Poinki saw BIG something." He examines the little ship with interest.  "Twitch can fix?" he asks, pointing at the hole. "Then we have boat, maybe."
