Twitch is still trying to haggle with the captain on the upper deck. Where she down below, she'd feel terrible about the fate she had condemned that poor goblin too.

"That will be fine," says the captain.  "Lethwaite!  Have one of the orcs check the cargo hold for vermin."

The red-coated woman nods and says, "Aye, Captain. Bill Moany! You heard the captain?  Go get Ogg or Thogg to check out the cargo hold."  A grouchy-looking sailor climbs down from the rigging and stomps across the deck to go below, muttering under his breath all the way.

With a grin on her face, Twitch returns down below, where her smile quickly turns to horror. "Oh my god, did I do that!? Can I maybe help in any way?"

If allowed to, she will kneel besides the hamstrung goblin, attempting to help him in any way she can.

Paren looks down at the goblin. "Dosen't look like something we can fix my friend. So you have choices. You can try to go on like this or I can end things. I know a way to make it quick and relatively painless. Up to you." 

(Assuming you are in the aft area since nobody said they moved Poinki)

As Poinki sniffles and thinks over his options, you hear the aft door open and heavy footsteps, as an enormous orc with an enormous club enters.  He stops, and looks at you all, scratching his head with confusion.

Finally he says, "Passengers not allowed in cargo area. You go."  The three goblins who can still run do so...judging form the direction, they are probably going to hide in the wool again.

"We are on hire by the captain to clear out his hold for him. Don't like it? Take it up with him."

Si'Juul steps forward and flares his wings in a show that looks like merely stretching but really trying to shield the orc's view of the goblins.

(Should I roll anything for this? Sleight of Wing? Lol Didn't lie so not sure if deception applies.)

Twitch knows the orc, and approaches him with a warm smile: "Ogg, you know me, always getting into cramped spaces, why don't I look around the crevaces for mice and such, much better than you trying to squeeze in beneath the bales and stacks, don't you think? And about those others who went hiding, don't you worry, they're helping me with the rats."

Persuasion?

Ogg is simple-minded and has an order to carry out. He shrugs and walks past you into the hold.

Ogg investigation:  18

Ogg notices the scorch marks, but doesn't say anything, because he isn't here to look for those...

He notices the dead hatchlings and pokes them with his club...

He finds the three hiding goblins, and picks them up, stuffing them under one arm and carrying on searching...

When he reaches the forward part of the deck, you hear a yell, the sound of a big club smashing things, the terrified screaming of the goblins, and the defiant war squeaks of giant rats. After a few minutes, Ogg comes running back your way, still hauling the goblins and being chased by 10 giant rats.

“Oh my gosh!” Elhanna exclaim as she sees the giant rats and raise her crossbow. She hated rats.. “the captain really aught to take better care of his ship. How can there be freeloaders, goblins, spiders AND giant rats on board without him knowing?”

Attack: 24 Damage: 15 on the closest rat.

"Because the captain apparently does not care about the lives of his crew!" 

Si'Juul immediately turns around and fires upon the next rat after Elhanna.

Attack: 17, Damage: 9

Two of the giant rats are quickly dealt with.  Ogg, now with some backup, swings a huge club at another, the three goblins still tucked under his armpit. Attack: 14 Damage: 5 Another rat bites the dust. Nope, the stubborn thing survived. Still eight (or seven and a half) rats.

Paren draws his sword and springs into action, slashing down at one rat before throwing an elbow and the one that had been clubbed. 

Attack: 6 Damage: 8

Attack: 17 Damage: 6

Initiative: 6

”Eerit, Rugat, you help us fight as well. Use your bows” Elhanna call to the goblins in goblin.

Paren finishes off the wounded rat.

Eenrit, Rugat and Boogar wriggle to try and free their arms and swords. (The two goblins with bows were killed in the battle.)  11  20  12
