The flying thing does not return.  After half an hour, the captain gives the command to sail on, and Trillia and Slithizz start barking orders. The sailors reluctantly return to their duties, except...none of them are willing to go up and keep watch.  One after another refuses the order, even when threatened with the brig, flogging, or being thrown over board. 

"Any volunteers?" First Mate Lethwaite finally demands. "Or do I have to go up there myself?"

Si'Juul makes his way up to the deck after several minutes, looking around and noticing the panicking crew. Raising an eyebrow, he glances to the skies for a moment as some crew members seem to be.

(Don't know if a perception roll is necessary right now as he is not actively searching, just taking a casual glance. But just in case, I will put one here.)

Perception roll: Nat 20

Twitch steps forward: "I'll go up there, keep watch. Got sharper eyes than most, which might just give me a few extra seconds to react and warn you all."

Paren looks over to the first mate. "Don't suppose you've got a bow or anything that might be a bit better than this little dart if that thing comes back?" 

Si'Juul looks up at the sky with his hawklike perception and, sadly, sees only mist and fog and clouds.

The first mate fetches a hand crossbow and a quiver of arrows and hands them over.

Paren nods. "Much obliged." 

Si'Juul walks over to the main mast and leans against it, crossing his arms. Paying close attention to everything the crew within sight is doing, and occasionally looking up as Twitch makes her way up to the crow's nest.

Of nothing more is happening Elhanna will emerge from her hiding place and start to relax, however, every once in a while she cast a look up the foggy sky. She walks over to a few crew mates and ask them about the water. If there are any repaired barrels yet, she will offer to fill them up. 

Twitch is scanning the sky for any sign of large creatures.

Perception (with disadvantage for the fog, just discount, if it shouldn't apply): 13

There does not seem to be anything up there....for now. Is Twitch concentrating on just the sky?

None of the broken barrels  is repaired yet (the ship's carpenter is up in the crow's nest) but there are some empties from earlier in the voyage that Elhanna and the druid can refill. 

As the spellcasters conjure water, many of the crew look relieved and stop glowering. At least for a while. Si'Juul hears one grouchy looking sailor muttering to others when the officers are busy elsewhere, "Oh, sure, everything's peachy now. If ye want to drink magic water.  Who knows what that stuff will do to you?  Give ye gills and turn yer kidneys into frogs, I'll swan."

With his eyes closed now, Si'Juul says to the angry crew member,

"...... Don't blame you.......would drink from the sea before trying something unknown....."

Elhanna will use up one 1st luv spell to fill up a barrel of water then. 

“Well you don’t have to drink it if you don’t want to. Just wait until it rain then.. I’m sure you will have fresh water in no time..” Elhanna shoot back and give the sailor a deadly stare. 

Although it’s not unusual to be afraid of magic, it is still irritating when all she does is help. Now that she is a passenger though she will be sure to take out the proper payment for her services. This is the last freebie they get.. 

Twtich would only be focussed on the sky, yes.

The Mobius sails on through the fog without incident.  After half a day, the sailors seem less skittish and are going about their duties normally, without looking up nervously at the sky

Twitch suddenly sees a dark shape fluttering down from above....

Twitch gives off a call to alarm, and readies her two daggers, still watching intently.

Perception again?: 11

Si'Juul opens his eyes and glances up towards the skies after hearing Twitch's warning shout, but still remains leaning against the mast.

Perception roll: 21

Paren leads a bolt into the crossbow and points it at the sky. 

You can't tell much through the fog, but a large shape the size of a horse seems to be moving toward the ship, high in the air.

Si'Juul just keeps watching the vaguely shaped figure in the fog.
