Si'Juul gives a nod to Helga after she restored him.

"Thank you. You can ask the one called Paren for payment of the service."

He steps out onto the deck and looks towards the fleeing bird.

"You're mine."

And dashes back up a full 100ft towards it.

Taking careful aim, the bruised and bloodied Twitch lets fly her bolt, hoping that the ballista would carry far enough to get the net close enough to the bird.

18 for 23 damage and hoping to get the birdie entangled in the net.

OOC: Damn, poor Twitch just really ain't a fighter...

Paren looks at the fire and then his friend. "I would say it best we move back down inside. If I'm right the bird will come back angry and focused on the nest, once it does we can take some shots at it." 

“Yeah you are right.” We’re also trapped in here and the rescue is a few hours away... she think to her self, but follow back down. She will continue look through the wizards stuff, crossbow in hand. 

She will also take a moment to use the Pearl of Power and utter the word that activated it. “Bazinga”

Si'Juul rushes 100 feet toward Red-Green, but she is faster, and goes 140 feet toward the nest. Flames are starting to lick around the edges...

Twitch's net-harpoon misses the rapidly retreating creature. Around her, the captain and crew shout various versions of "What the heck is that thing?"

Paren and Elhanna hurry down the stairs, pursued by the smell of frying eggs. In the storeroom with the stairs, Elhanna finds mainly food and other basic supplies.

Si'Juul will keep dashing after the wyrm, laser-focused.

Paren leans out the door to try and see where the bird is.

Twitch can't help but let a curse escape. Then, knowing that idle minds are wont to panic, she starts to issue orders for the others to bring her more netting and prepare similar net bolts to the one she just fired. She didn't think that plan particularly good, but if it'd help keep the crew focused and let Helga do her work in peace, she'd have gained them all something already.

Paren looks out the door and sees that Red-Green is very near the lighthouse.

Twitch quickly rigs another net harpoon.

(Elhanna can add an action in for this round later, if she has something she wants to do.)

The nest is now a blaze of fire: not only that, but you hear bangs and pops, and see colored flares shooting off into the sky from the tower top.  Seems like there might have been more in and around the nest than just eggs. 

Red-Green stops short of the flaming, exploding nest and gives a wail of despair and rage.  She flies in a circle around the top of the tower, looking in through the broken windows of the upper laboratory. 18 She doesn't notice Paren peeking out the door.

 (Si'Juul can get within range on this turn, and Twitch can fire again.)

If possible, Si'Juul will fly above it and straight down onto the bird, hopefully driving it down into the burning nest. But at the very least, he will make a talon attack, rending the flesh beneath the feathers.

Paren takes a shot with his crossbow, ducking back inside before he sees if it hits or not.

Attack: 6 Damage: 7

Both shots hit!  With a final angry squawk, Red-Green crashes to the foot of the lighthouse, dead.

Twitch, having finished a second net-bolt is getting ready to fire it, only to see the dying bird drop out of the sky. She can't help but give a slight grin at Paren and Si'Juul's bravery and skill. Still, she scanned the sky with her eyes, just to make sure there wasn't any other threat nearby.

9 for perception

Under the circumstances, the wheeling seagulls overhead give Twitch a slight chill, but they are normal sized and pose no threat.  Dottle the cook yells, "Toss it down here and we'll roast it!" but it's doubtful they can hear that from the top.

Elhanna will rush out of the lighthouse to take a look at the bird. If it is still on the brink of death she is determined to end it’s suffering.

A part of a healers duty is to make sure that the dying dies as painless as possible. 

If the arrows hadn't killed it, the drop would have.  The giant Eveswyrm is completely dead, and Elhanna doesn't have to worry about it suffering.

Si'Juul will crane his neck and bellow another screech to the skies in victory. He will land and make his way to Elhanna and Paren.

"Be sure to give that gold to Helga you decided to donate to her..... wouldn't have been able to get back here without her aid....."

Paren nods and slings his crossbow. "I vote we take on less birds for a while. You make like flying but it does make it a little hard for me to participate properly." 

"The choice wasn't ours in this case......but I agree....I have had my fill of bird on bird combat......"

“Paren in right. We need to fight smarter in the future.” She looks around. “By the way, has any one seen Twitch? She ran off after you but that is the last we saw of her.” 

She is feeling a little bad when Si’Juul mention the gold and decide to keep the gold she found in the wizards stash to her self. That gold is sorely needed back home since I haven’t been able to send some in a while..
