Elhanna surprised that the bag doesn’t weigh as much as it is supposed to do. It must must be some kind of wizard magic. It is too bad that she doesn’t know much about magic, maybe someone at the boat can tell her about it. 

“How is it going guys? We should start heading back before it gets dark, It is a few hours walk back.” Elhanna calls out too her split party members.

After hearing Elhanna call out, Si'Juul flies down to her.

"There's something odd up there I would like you to look at.....try to figure out what it is if you can...... would you like a lift or you just gonna hoof it up the stairs?"

Twtich, already halfway up the stairs when hearing Si'Juul just gives him a look :"I nearly killed myself trying to get to the boats as quickly as possible, only to provide you with fire support you didn't even need... and here I am, needing your help again." Twitch is clearly exhausted from the fight and nearly drowning earlier, and to her horror, she realised that she had misplaced the ring she received for helping the other ship. But first things first, that tower might still hold more secrets.


OOC: Not that I have a problem with the ruling, but she was technically wearing a ring of waterwalking, which would have made her hit the water like a brick wall. I completely forgot that before she leapt. I tried to retcon with the above.

"Hmm? Catch your breath. Someone on the mobius struck one of them down right in front of me, if that was you, then thank you. The other I did not take down alone, Paren also had a hand in killing it."

Then turning from Twitch back to Elhanna,

"So....will you examine this object I have found?"

 (I did.  Oops!  But it is afternoon, maybe around 5, and even though it took you hours to lug the heavy wine crate up the stairs, calculations during the battle turned out to show that it does not take all that long to stroll down. XD So you don't have to worry. But you can smell something good roasting on the fire below, so maybe not take too much time.)

So (assuming) the entire party troops to the roof to stare at the odd crystal ball on the pedestal, as Si'Juul polishes off the last of the soot covering the ball.  Without the nest on the platform, you can see odds and ends of objects and broken furniture buried in remains of the mud and ash. After a few rains and some wind, this area will probably be cleaned off.  Fortunately, the fire did no damage to the tower below.  Perhaps some other lighthouse keeper may take up residence here one day.

”oh, what did you find?” Smiling at the birds request. “Sure fly me up there!” When Si’Juul grab hold of her and fly up she laugh. She never though she’d fly some time. 

She look around at the burned tower roof, then look at the crystal ball. Unsure what it is she is looking at, she close her eye and prey to Mishakel exactly 6 seconds (one action ^^) then she opens her eyes and look at it from a new perspective.

What direction do you look at it from? (West, east, etc.)

Oh, let say north since I’m a swed irl 😂

As you look into the crystal ball from the north, you can see whales and dolphins playing far away on the ocean to the south.  You can even hear them splashing and calling out. Looking at it from above, you can see monkeys in the treetops on the south part of the islands. Looking at it from beneath, you almost think there's another Eveswyrm attacking, before realizing it's just magnified a little sparrow that just flew past the lighthouse.

Does she see any magic coming from it with Detect magic?

"I have no idea what this might be, but it sure is cool.." She take an extra long look at the dolphines. When she sees the potential threat she yelp and fall backward, then blossom bright red when she realize it was just a cute littel sparrow. 

Under the Detect Magic spell, the column and crystal ball and even part of the floor beneath flicker with colored lights.  Looks like some abjuration, evocation, and divination magic. And it looks like part of the building, which probably can't be easily removed.

From among the ashes elsewhere on the rooftop, you see three other spots glowing...one with transmutation magic, one with illusion, and one with enchantment.

"So what do you make of this? Looking at it, even if it might be useful, it looks too bulky to be carried around."

Paren looks up from the bottom of the building. "We're going to miss the food. Anything interesting?"

Elhanna take her eyes away from the prize and go over to the other sources of magic and investigate them as well. 

“Well I’m no wizard.. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to tell you what this is. But from the looks of it, it looks like some sort of watching ball. Like if you watch it from different directions you see different things.”   

Si'Juul will examine the pillar the globe is attached to for any sort of means of separating the globe from the pillar.

Guessing investigation: 6 (Thank God I wasn't taking a shot, natural 2 :P)

Nope, it all seems pretty firmly attached.

Si'Juul grumbles in minor anger.

"Alright, you all do what you want. I am heading down for a meal."

He flies from the tower and makes his way to where they are roasting the Eveswyrm and joins them, taking a seat.

If any of the others don't make it down within the next hour Si'Juul will fly up with a portion of the cooked Eveswyrm meat.

Ooc: Soo, Does Elhanna know how to get down from here? And what was those other magical things in the nest? 

”Hey! Are you just going to leave me up here! How am I going to get down!?” She yell after Si’Juul as he disappear down the hill.. 

(I had thought after Si'Juul and Elhanna flew up, Paren and Twitch found their way up from inside. If that actually isn't possible, and flying is the only way, then Si'Juul would carry the group down. Let me know if a retcon is needed. :P)

There is still a hatch down.   Nobody ever closed it. Fortunately, the wizard must have left some sort of protective spell on the stairs below that kept the lower floor from catching fire.
