Larth's friendly smile fades a little "These are restricted trade items which are being smuggled by a criminal organisation, so I assume you are joking. I do appreciate you finding what my people missed, so I will consider rewarding you from what appears to be Burning Ring's personal treasure, as long as it would be lawful and ethical for me to do so. First things first, we will need to get it open. If you will join me on the deck of my ship, I have someone who is handy with this sort of thing" and he starts moving towards the deck of his ship.
Reguh can read this, but can't choose reward yet (wait until the chest is opened):
Reguh will be able to choose one of these random magic items:
Magic Item Table A: 2
Magic Item Table A roll 2: 16
Magic Item Table B:63
Two potions of healing and a 3rd level spell scroll [a bit OP, but that is ok].
I'll use this website to randomise the scroll, so 84 then 84 . It is a scroll of remove curse
From Oden's time as a sailor and his time on Flora Isle working with the militia at the docks, Oden knows that Zephyr Assimilated is a highly respected and very successful trading company operating out of Port Damali. They are known to treat their crew well and to only trade in legal goods. In context of what was said, Oden would assume the Euros is a ship in the Zephyr Assimilated fleet (and that the Wavechaser's true name/former name is the Eurus (or Z.A. Eurus)).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Larth has one of his crew pick the lock on the chest (18), it takes around ten minutes but it is finally opened.
Inside are two ruby red potions (almost identical to those that were purchased by your fellow adventurers on Brokenbank), as well as a scroll which you recognise the symbols of, but cannot quite get your head around yet.
Larth says "For finding Burning Hill's stash when my own people missed it, you are free to take one of these items."
Aliez sheaths her sword when asked. Looking around the ship she mostly spends the time watching the Concord agents and the rest of the party. As they are lead onto the other ship, Aliez leans over to Larth and says, "Even though this woman may be a pirate, the threat at Palma Flora is still there. We have all prepared to stop them there, all we need is the ability to get there."
Larth responds to Aliez "Fortunately I think our goals are aligned. After we move all of the stolen goods from the Eurus - or "Wavechaser" - onto the Moonbeam we can discuss this further." He is hinting pretty hard for everyone to pitch in and move the cargo.
After Reguh choses whether he will take a potion or the scroll, Larth takes the three boxes below deck, then quickly comes back up and continues to move the Zephyr Assimilated's stolen cargo onto the Moonbeam himself as well.
“The scroll for sure” Reguh is beaming upon hearing that he has the opportunity to have a new scroll to copy into his spell book. “I suppose I can help with moving this cargo, but I’m not the strongest...”
Aliez goes and starts loading stuff onto the ship. Mostly trying to avoid people while she does. Does she get handed anything worth a lot of gold or that looks magical?

Unfortunately/fortunately the low investigation rolls mean that the only valuable items were those that Reguh found.
Kenton: You have been waiting for the sound of the battle to start up above, but you hear no gunshots. You then see members of the crew come below deck and take an unconscious dwarf, a bloodied tabaxi and a terrified looking human down to the brig. Other crew members start bringing various crates and boxes below deck and through to the ship hold. You then see a few other folk bringing various crates and boxes down who you don't recognise.
Kenton, describe what the other characters see when they come downstairs.
Other players, please do the same for Kenton.
[Hey, we got a new player, yay! I was initially planning on introducing him after Tide of Retribution, but thought it made sense to bring him in sooner.]
You see a human man in his mid-twenties sitting at a table looking bored and unhappy, possibly a little sulky. He's tall, with short blond hair, well-built and wearing chain mail that looks as though it doesn't fit him perfectly. As he sees you enter, his expression changes to a bright, welcoming smile and he stand. Greetings, friends. It seems you've had a more interesting day than I have.
Good, of course, always good,Kenton replies, looking over the newcomers. I... understood Voskiir was confronting his pirate enemy in this encounter, no? You were...he looks confused for a moment, and then seems to have a bright idea, You were prisoners aboard her ship, perhaps?
"Ah, we had been on her ship due to being misled about the nature of her intentions. We thought she was seeking to take out that which sunk Flora Isle, but it turns out that she had her own motivations." Beatrice grimaces, frowning back towards the pirate ship. "Of course, once we were told of her true nature, we sought to disassociate ourselves with her as swiftly as possible."
“More like ‘willing saps’ if I’m being honest. We thought our goals were aligned. Three Rings, aka: Burning Hill was a huckster, though and had deceived us. Not for long though. I’m Vincent Flintmore.” and Vincent reaches out to shake hands between carrying things.
After dropping a sack of flour in the hold, Oden approaches Kenton: "What do you know about the pirate? Is there history between her and your commander?" he extends a webbed hand when he's close enough. "My name's Oden."
Oden is a tall sea elf with a mop of tangled dark blue hair, his skin is a light silvery blue with a pattern on green lines half an inch thick barely visible under the right light. He wears simple clothes under studded leather, carries a backpack with a wood and leather shield attached to it, longbow, quiver of arrows, and a shortsword at his hip. Through his belt, he also carries a piece of branching coral, roughly T-shaped.
Kenton grasps Vincent's hand in the sort of firm common in those who are trying a bit too hard. Well met. Kenton Tomsen of Nicodranas. Yes, from what Voskiir has told me, she is a villainous sort. He shakes Oden's hand too, and gives a friendly nod to the woman who spoke. I know little beyond what Voskiir has told me. I am not, in fact, part of his crew, but was rescued by him after my own ship was destroyed. I will gladly tell you the tale, but later perhaps. Can I... assist you in carrying anything?

"I don't see why not, come! May I ask what happened to your ship?"

Reguh puts his hand behind his head and rubs it nervously and, between his forced laughter, says “Of course I was joking!”
He then begins to follow Larth to the ship.
Oden follows Larth. Does he recognize the name Z.A. Eurus, and/or does he know what Zephyr Assimilated means?

She avoids Vincents and Laire as best as she can.

[Oups,I thought we've done that already]
Oden helps with the cargo.

[I [as in the DM, not one of the NPCs] might be stalling getting you all to carry cargo!!!]

"Hi there!" Beatrice chirps, hauling the crates of the plantains onto the ship. "It's definitely been something, I'll tell you what. How's things?"
