"Oh...yes." Heishe chuckles dryly as she sits down wearily in a chair. "I ran into a carrion crawler, it was all terribly exciting, I nearly died and such." She winces slightly. "Fortunately, a guard patrol showed up and managed to kill it. After it knocked me out though, so no heroic stories, I'm afraid." She rubs her forehead. "Yes, quite exciting indeed. Made friends with the Watch, though. Including a very nice half-elf..." She shakes her head. "Getting off-topic. Short story, carrion crawler."
The next morning, the dragonborn looks rather more composed and rested as she comes down the stairs. "Anyone interested in dinner with Lord Mirt in three days? We've been invited, should we be interested, which I, personally, most certainly am."
"Carrion crawler. Well, i'm glad you're ok."Cora said. "You look terrible. I'm starting to get the impression that maybe she shouldn't be doing these types of assignments alone." she said half to herself and half to Heishe. After the dragonborn left, Cora sat and finished her drink, thanked Lif for it, and headed up to bed. She fell asleep right away.
In the morning, she woke up, ate some eggs, bacon, and a scoop of peanut butter, then changed into some light clothes, tested the pull up bar, the weight rack, and the sit up bench. Then, she bathed, dressed up, and went downstairs into the taproom to see what was up.
Mirt is an advisor to the Open Lord, and a friend to those working to help others and against tyranny. An influential member of the city, he is a very powerful person. Based on the invite, he is also probably a member of the Lord's Alliance.
Vincent hadn’t been in the taproom the night Heishe returned, the fighter having been busy with fixing up the rooms upstairs late into the evening. There was a voice nagging at the back of his head about it, adding to his worries, but he knew Heishe enough that she could handle her mission on her own. He hoped.
As he passed by the staircase to his room, he heard her voice from downstairs. While unable to hear her clearly, it was enough for his worries to wash away right then and there. Maybe next time anyone has a mission alone I’ll come with,he thinks with a sigh escaping his lips. Keep me from worryin’ all the time...
In the morning he would eat his breakfast, raising his head only when Heishe approached regarding some sort of dinner invite. He took a moment to look the Dragonborn over, ensuring that she wasn’t too badly beat up... which didn’t look the case thankfully. “Huh. Invite ever say why he wants our company?”

Lu-lu comes down in the morning and eats some cereal. When she sees Heishe, Lu-lu just about knocks over her bowl, "Heishe! Are you ok? what happened?" Listening to what she tells Cora, Lu-lu nods then smirks, eyes twinkling "Nice half elf, you say?! Is he Cuuuuuuuuute?" Lu-lu giggles a little bit, she's been so focused on finishing her studies, she's neglected being a young person thinking about romance.

"Lu-Lu, you are summoned to Gwing's office. Upon entering, she turns to you and says, "I hear you have been doing well on your studies. But as you wish to be a knight errant, studies aren't everything. I have an assignment for you. We hear that the Zhents are paying gangs in the Field Ward to attack suspected Xanathar Guild members. Fights are breaking out in the ward daily. Stop a fight before it happens. We need to send a message to these thugs that further altercations won’t be tolerated. Once you have done so, return to me. I may have a gift for you."
Lu-lu nods, scratching the back of her neck with one hand, "I've had a lot of support at home, but yes. My studies have- WAIT! Did you just say assignment?!" Lu-lu listens intently to the brief, giving a salute when Gwing is finished. "Tallulah is on it! Consider these fights stopped!" Lu-lu is visibly vibrating with excitement at her first assignment.

"Well, I didn't exactly intend to get into a fight," Heishe points out dryly. She glances at Lu-lu. "That is not the point, darling." She looks at Cora and Vincent. "I presume the invite is due to a combination of our efforts thus far and the catalyst of my encounter with the crawler. I assume it's quite formal, but I'm sure you could wear a suit if you wanted, Cora," she adds to the dark haired rogue.
"OOOOOOO, a party! That sounds like so much fun!" Lu-lu's eyes go wide and sparkle as she places a hand on Heishe's and Cora's shoulder, "Can we go shopping?" Her voice is quiet, thick with intensity.
"Oh, that's something we can solve quick enough." Heishe laughs. "We'll go by a shop and get you one today, and anyone else who needs one," she adds, glancing at the rest of the group and giving Lu-lu a wink.
“Ah, I wouldn’t wanna ruin your ladies day out,” Vincent admits sheepishly. “I’ll head out after breakfast then to find myself somethin’ nice. Don’t wanna... what’s it, ‘cramp your style’ with my old arse!”

At the mention of Lu-lu's question about the half elf's potential for physical attractiveness, Cora lets out a groan and rolls her eyes.
"How fancy is this dinner party?" she asked, realizing that she didn't have a dress. Or, the urge to wear one.
