A few of the thugs back down and look nervous. Another one shouts, "Oh a little girl is gonna beat us? Run along and play soldier elsewhere." 

Cora felt her blood getting hot. Easy. Easy. She's got this. Simmer.

Lu-lu takes a deep breath, “look, there must be a non violent way to resolve this situation. Let me help, otherwise we WILL be forced to intervene, so I will ask you ONE. MORE. TIME. Let us talk this out and work out a compromise.”

PERSUASION? 18 

that’s a 20 if INTIMIDATION

Urge to kill. Rising. RISING. Oh wait. Shit. Lu-lu's good at this. ****.

All but four of the thugs have backed down at this point. The four remaining call out, "I think we could compromise to beat you first if you don't scram!"

Vincent kept his stance grounded, his eyes going to and fro between the thugs and Lulu. She was doing an amazing job, just a little more and he was certain she could disperse the rest of the lot with no problem.

Lu-lu moves into a power stance, “I refuse to move, I suggest you follow the wisdom of your compatriots.”

"A little girl and her posy that won't even speak? You really should find somewhere else to play hero little girl."

Lu-lu crosses her arms, “you won’t provoke me, I’m not starting this fight, if we can avoid it.”

Cora smiled at Lu-lu. She was doing a great job standing her ground in a non violent plea.

The thugs, looking at everyone seem to be thinking better of fighting. One of them yells, "These Zhents ain't worth it." The two groups walk away eyeing Lu-Lu, you get the feeling they won't forget this. 

Congrats everyone. You are now all level 3 and you have some renown in the city with your factions, and possibly with other factions as well. Waterdeep is always looking for adventurers and heroes, all eyes are on you. 

"Good job, Lu-lu." Cora smirked, giving her a brotherly pat on the shoulder. "Not exactly the way I would have done it, but you did good."

"Not everything can be solved with mindless bloodshed, Cora," Vincent laughs, giving Lulu a pat on the shoulder. "You did very well, Lass! You showed 'em!"

"Yes, it can." Cora retorted, giving Vincent a look as if the notion was silly.

"Excellent work Lu-Lu. Restoring order without conflict is an optimal solution, although difficult if one lacks the force of personality required to achieve it."

Lu-lu laughs, “Thank you guys! I was almost certain they were going to attack at the end there! Let’s go, lunch is on me.” 

"Oh, well in that case, I heard there's a Maccabee's around here." Cora mentioned, but then she stopped herself realizing something. "Oh no, wait, wrong city. Too bad. I was itching for a burger."

Lu-Lu, when you return to the towers to report to Gwing, you find not only Gwing there, but also a figure you haven't met before. A tall, bright red tiefling, with a very stern face turns as you enter. She is clad in gold and white armor emblazoned with the symbol of Lathander. Gwing quickly asks about how your assignment went. 

After hearing about the stopped fight, the tiefling says is a sharp, almost harsh voice, "Well met Novice Talluah. I am Knight Commander Eerna. Gwing here has been telling me of how you have excelled in all of your studies, save religion that is. Your previous accomplishment when you first entered the city was also impressive. I have heard glowing reports from members of a few different factions in the city, thanking me for your aid. And now, you have managed to stop a fight between two bloodthirsty groups of criminals without raising your blade. I hear you wish to become a Knight Errant. Why? You have proven your skills at non violence and at defending others. Normally I would most probably encourage you to join the Knight Sentinels. You would be able to best use your skills and love of helping others. If Knight Errant is your wish though, I can have you join them."

Everyone else, you have the rest of the afternoon today, and all of tomorrow before dinner before the next event will happen. Then pretty soon after dinner, the next real plot moment should be happening.
