After some time of travel, Tarric pulls the carriage to a halt. "This is as close as I wish to bring the carriage. With the sun soon to set I'd advice you all get some rest after discussing some strategies for tomorrow's attack. The encampment should be just north of here; roughly an hour's walk. The brush is thick, so keep that in mind, it will likely slow your pace a bit. I will take the night watch and wake you a few hours before dawn; that should allow you to prepare yourself, get some food inside you, and get to them before day break."
"Sounds better than just charging in blindly." Sedna says. Tarric adds; "The area around the tomb is thick with bush and thorns, with sparse trees. If you scout it out, I'd suggest either keeping your distance, or sending in someone quiet."
Cobash taps the hilt of his halberd on the ground, looking at his feet for a moment, "I am not stealthy. Prefer to just attack. But knowing enemy before we go in much better." He looks around the camp, "I can set and watch camp while you scout."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Okay, I'll be back in a bit." Branra heads off, trying to keep silent and reduce his visibility: stealth: 4. Moving through the brush, Branra will peer around each clump of bushes he encounters, trying to spot the tomb. Once he can see the tomb, he will stop moving closer, and stay there for a few minutes, watching the area: perception: 6
Branra sees the top of a stone structure, likely the tomb entrance. There are three large tents nearby and smoke billowing up from the other side of the tomb entrance, the smell of roasted flesh drifts on the wind to your nose. You can't see anyone there, but the bushes and brush is thick enough that you can only see the tops of the tents and structure.
Branra thinks about moving closer, but, then decides it would be better to return and provide what little information he has obtained from his brief trek.
Upon returning to the camp he will tell everyone that he saw three tents, and someone was cooking meat there.
"Hmm, how big were tents?" Cobash says as he contemplates the information, "Tents hold many or few. Have seen many different tents. Big tent? Or only enough for two?"
"They were big tents, but, I didn't get close enough to see how many each tent might hold. From where I was, they might have been able to hold more than two each."
"If you saw the stone entrance to the tomb, then it would have to be the enemy's camp. No one else would be here." Tarric says. Sedna adds; "So, you want to come in from the south; where they would probably expect us? Or should we come from another direction to possibly bypass their defenses?"
"I agree with Luna. We are better off taking care of the guards first, otherwise we might find ourselves ambushed when we leave the tomb. But, I think approaching them from a different direction would be a good strategy."
“Yes, if we can come in from a different direction that they don’t expect, we can take them by surprise,” Addi says. Turning to Tarric, she asks, “Do you think we can do it now before the sun comes up, or should we wait until tomorrow?”

Cobash stands and looks north in the direction Tarric pointed. "How many at camp? Numbers will help us plan attack."
"No clue." Tarric replies. "I was just told the location, not what you'll encounter when you get there."
Luna shyly says; "We should scout out the area so we can be more prepared."

"I can scout it out if no one else is willing to do it." Branra says.
ooc his stealth is only +1

“I guess there’s a good number, then. Should we fight them or just sneak by them?” Addi asks Branra and the others.

(OOC: The sun is currently up; it is late afternoon.)
"If we attack at night, is there difference to where we attack from?" Cobash looks at each of the group in turn.
