Arnald and the undead on the roof of the barn, silhouetted against the clouds by the torchlight shining up at them, strike metal against metal, each testing the other's stance in calculated lunges. Ola reaches the undead within the net and stabs down into an arm, pinning it against the ground as it continues to thrash against the tangle and adding another howl to the wind. She ducks in time to avoid another stone, this one thrown her way by the small undead creature by the barn, which ducks right back behind the wall. Uragum looks back for a moment to the barn, but the undead there resists his frostbite as well. Sylyra pauses to examine the fallen forms beneath him.
For Sylyra:
These small creatures' odd behavior makes more sense when you examine them more closely. While their disguise of old bones, skulls, and dirt makes them appear very much like shambling undead that have risen from the sea floor, the pouring rain has begun to wash it away, revealing the scaled exterior of kobolds.
Round 6 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: One smaller undead is 15 feet away from the barn, restrained by nets. One smaller undead is around one side of the barn, out of sight of all but Arnald, at least 20 feet away from Ola, 40 feet away from Sylyra and 70 feet away from Uragum. One taller undead is atop the barn, engaged in melee combat with Arnald 15 feet above the ground.
Health: The small undead in the net is wounded.
Arnald is lightly wounded. Sylyra is lightly wounded. Uragum is lightly wounded.
As Sylyra finishes examining the remains, his ears pick up the sounds of combat above him on the roof of the barn. He heads for the ladder or whatever it was that Arnald used to climb up. (I'm gathering from the posts that the last undead by the barn is near that access.) As the elf rounds the corner to attempt to aid his human friend, he spots the final rock thrower and swings his magical staff at the creature.
OOC: Botting Uragum for this round with a full round of movement toward the village with the flaming sphere in tow.
There isn't an external ladder on the barn, but the walls are aged and the wood is not smoothed, so a climb can be attempted. The surface is quite slick, so it requires a successful Athletics check and 30 feet of movement to scale (15 feet high x 2 for climbing).

Despite his bravado, the larger undead creature moves rather quickly to parry Arnald aside and nick the inside of the archer's arm. The two shift back and forth in their contest, each striving to keep away from the edge of the slick pitched rooftop. Just below, Sylyra slams his staff into the smaller undead creature's neck, butting it against the wall of the barn. The sling falls from the creature's grasp and it pulls a dagger free, but its shorter limbs cannot get the leverage to strike the taller druid. Ola stabs her sword downward again, this time plunging it into the struggling undead's chest. It feebly grasps at the blade to pull it away, but loses the last of its strength and dies within the well set trap. Uragum reaches halfway to the edge of the village.

As the contestants separate Arnald glances at his arm and nods in the direction of the undead. "Better than I expected. But we're not done yet." and he charges the undead.

Arnald gouges the undead's arm, but after a grunt of pain, it continues its attack as its blood falls to the roof of the barn. Sylyra grabs at the smaller undead and spins around the back of it, planting his staff at the base of its neck. It drops to the ground, unconscious. Ola covers one side of the barn with a torch in hand, not seeing any additional enemies yet. Uragum reaches the first structure at the outermost edge of the village; still a distance away from the Folk's main battle, he sees after another burst of arcane fire that their side seems to be well in hand. Focused between that fight and the concentration on his flaming sphere, he doesn't notice the figure that rushes up behind him with a large club in hand. With a growl, the madman from the ruined hovel smashes the club down into Uragum's back - barely affecting the goliath, and not disrupting his concentration on the sphere.

Placement: One taller undead is atop the barn, engaged in melee combat with Arnald 15 feet above the ground. The madman is engaged in melee combat with Uragum, 130 feet away from the party.

Uragum stumbles forward and is already moving for the counter attack. Not even seeing who it is that struck him his has his flamming ball roll around in an arc to hit the man from behind just as he spins an tries to bash him in the face with his bladed gauntlet.

Ola circles around the back of the barn and to the opposite side, spotting no additional enemies along the circuit. Arnald, pressed against the edge of the roof, ducks beneath the scimitar of the undead and grabs it; as he shifts to the opposite side, he thrusts his rapier through the creature's chest and out its back. Clutching the wound, the creature falls from the roof and lands dead on the ground next to Sylyra.
Uragum has to pull his punch as the madman's club comes swinging back in. The man soon howls in pain, however, singed badly by the flaming sphere pressing him. "Die, you oaf!" he screams in a fiery panic.
Round 9 Order: Players <===== Madman
Placement: The madman is engaged in melee combat with Uragum, 130 feet away from Ola and Sylyra, and 160 feet away from Arnald (including climbing).
Health: The madman is grievously wounded.
Arnald is lightly wounded. Sylyra is lightly wounded. Uragum is lightly wounded.
It seemed they dispatched of all attackers but the one unexpected, fighting Uragum now. The wizard could hold himself, but in case of surprises, Ola dashed to the battle.

OOC: If the madman didn't move and ended his turn in the same spot he would need to make another dex save or take fire damage. From my understanding there are two ways to take damage. Ramming the sphere into a person forcing an immediate save and then when someone ends their turn by the sphere. Fire damage if he had not moved 10. He could have moved around Uragum without leaving melee range to avoid that so up to you.
Uragum easily sways out of reach of the clumsy strike. Again he flicks his fingers and moves the sphere to roast the mans back and throws another punch.

Once he's dispatched the immediate foe, Arnald thinks for a moment. That undead was bleeding. And he grunted in pain. Walking over to the edge of the barn Arnald yells to the others, "I don't think these guys are undead! The last one felt pain and bled all over the place!"
Arnald would then climb off the barn and head toward the nearest un-undead enemy.
OOC: My intent was that the madman was circling Uragum, away from the flaming sphere, but I definitely did not narrate that clearly. Doesn't matter in the end, you'd kill him on either turn.
Illuminated by flame, Uragum can be seen dropping his attacker with a punch to the face. His flaming sphere winks out a few seconds afterward. After Arnald calls out and begins his climb down the barn, the area is silent once more, most noise drowned out by the continued downpour. The flames further into the village seem to have stopped as well as the Folk complete their part in the battle.
OOC: Each character has received 83 XP for defeating the undead attackers.
There was no need to run anymore, it seemed, but Ola still came to Uragum's flaming sphere if only to make sure the mad man is dead and does not need help anymore. "So, he was indeed mad. Probably attack reminded him about the one he survived in. And yet Arnald says these creatures are not undead. Let's return to the bark and see who we were dealing with."She waited for Uragum and then walked back to the barn. There were small and big attackers - in the light from the torch she tried to find out who that was.
After dodging the undead, Arnald drops his bow and draws his rapier. "You didn't have to climb up here, I was coming to you!"
