Hooves vs. Human: 7 Rapier vs. Captain (Advantage-Help): 12
Longsword (Two-Handed) vs. Arnald: 21Damage: 10 Longsword (Two-Handed) vs. Sly: 22Damage: 10 Spear vs. Ola: 11 Dagger vs. Ola (Advantage-Pack Tactics): 22Damage: 5
The captain, seemingly no stranger to combat, staggers backward in a feint as Uragum misses with another witch bolt; when Arnald steps in, the pirate springs forward, knocking the rapier aside again and plunging his sword into Arnald. As the fighter falls backward unconscious, the captain spins and swats Sly out of the air, then rips through the bird as it falls. With a screech, Sly fades into the ether. The captain smirks at Uragum, "Perhaps the third time be the charm."
Sylyra misjudges another kick toward the pesky kobold, who darts in and out of the fray to stab at Ola's leg again as she and the remaining human member of the crew parry each other's strike again.
Placement: The captain is all that remains of the pirate crew. The ship crew consists of one human and one kobold. The human and kobold are engaged in melee combat with Ola. The kobold is engaged in melee combat with Sylyra.
Health: The captain is wounded.
Arnald is unconscious and dying (0 successes, 0 failures). Ola is lightly wounded. Sylyra is lightly wounded. Uragum is lightly wounded.
Uragum smiles at the challenge. "Bring yourself on here." Uragum says as he begins to Circle the man. He will flex his hand in the daggered gauntlet and then casually cast a frostbite spell aiming at the the Kobold harassing Ola.
Move: will circle out around the captain. Trying to keep her 40 feet away
Action: casting frostbite on the Kobold. DC 13 Con save or take 6 damage and have disadvantage on the next attack.
Hey, DM, my last post at first said dice rolls weren't available, but then a refresh showed them. Today, they weren't showing again until I edited the post (adding a period). I rolled a 19 on attack and 11 on damage. I know you couldn't see them before. Can they still count?
If we need to ignore the lost and found rolls, or if it had more than 11 hp, horse-Sylyra will continue to attack the kobold.
If we can use the old rolls and the kobold was knocked out, horse-Sylyra will gallop over to assist Ola.
OOC: The forums have been acting so strange lately, that "pending" text wasn't in the post once I clicked Edit...I had to write some extra lines and then save to get rid of it.
Since Sylyra's hoof rolls weren't available to me when I posted, we'll use the rolls that I made to compensate. It's unfortunate in this case, but that's been my procedure with all my groups.
Sorry for lack of post today, schedule this week has been rough. Ola's movement to Arnald will bring him to consciousness this round, so he can take an action for Round 9.
OOC: Botting Arnald for this round by picking up both of his downed weapons (free interaction + action) and standing up.
DM Screen:

Spear vs. Ola (Opportunity Attack):8 Dagger vs. Ola (Opportunity Attack, Advantage-Pack Tactics): 23Damage: 4 Ola CON Save (Concentration): 13

Longsword (Two-Handed) vs. Uragum: 21Damage: 10 Longsword (Two-Handed) vs. Uragum: 24Damage: 5
The nearly fatal wound on Arnald's body heals quickly as Ola arrives, taking a painful strike to the back of the leg from the ship's crew. The diversion is all that is needed to finally clear that area of the ship, however; when the kobold falls to Uragum's magic, frozen nearly solid, Sylyra finally connects his hooves to the back of the crewman's head, leaving only the pirate captain remaining on board the ship.
The fire is spreading quickly, cutting off half of the ship and preventing any access to Audacity, which has untangled itself and begun to sink, badly damaged by the fire itself. Here on this ship, the blaze seems to be almost entirely at the top deck, but will spread to the stairway and below decks within minutes.
The pirate captain obliges Uragum, sprinting toward him. He shows no sign of slowing, continuing the barrage of whirling metal. Uragum, providing a big target, feels the bite of the blade across his arm, unable to block the longsword. His blood joins the wood of the deck as the brigadier cackles, quickly wearing him down.
Round 10 Order: Pirate Captain Players <=====
Placement: The captain is all that remains of the pirate crew. The pirate is engaged in melee combat with Uragum. All combatants are within movement range.
Health: The captain is wounded.
Uragum is badly wounded. Arnald is wounded. Ola is lightly wounded. Sylyra is lightly wounded.
OOC: well that didn't work out. I had tried to keep Uragum 40 ft away to avoid a multiattack but darn.
With that first attack, Uragum will use his reaction to use Stone's Endurage and reduce the 10 damage by 13
So, he takes no damage from that first attack and 5 damage from that second.
As that first strike comes, Uragum takes a deep breath and clenches all his muscles at the moment of contact causing the blade to scrape across his stone like flesh. The captain however was able to follow up and his blade bit into Uragum's flesh. With a grunt, Uragum still smiled. "Your and the wizard's crew are dead and your ship is on fire. Mine are all here. Your best chance is to jump ship and run," Uragum says and then punches at him with his dagger.
Seeing Uragum under duress, horse-Sylyra's form shimmers and then returns to its normal elf shape. He waves his arms in front of himself, his staff almost twirling with the complicated somatic component, and speaks a few words in Sylvan, and a light flashes to Uragum's right. The light solidifies into the shape of a glowing phoenix made of golden light, its wings flapping lazily, and sparks of light dripping from its tail feathers. "Step through that!" the druid calls to his teammate.
Bonus: wildshape back into an elf
Action: healing spirit, which lasts for one minute and will heal every creature that moves through it during their turn up to five times before it is used up.
OOC: That's partially on me for not doing a good enough job of describing the layout and measurements of the ship. Because of the fire spreading on one half of the ship, and the pirate's approach near the center, there isn't an area to move that far away and still be on the deck. I've had to cram these in this week, so apologies if the quality is less than usual.
Arnald, seeing his chance for payback, knocks an arrow and fires at the captain.
OOC: Burning another superiority die!

"I been dead for centuries, boy! I ain't for fearin' death," the scarlet pirate bellows as Uragum slams his gauntlet into his chestplate. He beats his chest, but lurches forward as an arrow sinks into his leg. Staring bewildered at the risen Arnald, the pirate turns his attention to Ola's approach. "Healin' while me back is turned? Ye damned snakes," he says, batting her first strike away and stepping forward. The paladin leaps back from his next swing, but is caught off-weight when he lunges, the point of his sword headed directly for her heart - where a glowing shield of energy appears to force the blade backward.
Back in his elven form, Sylyra casts, creating the image of a phoenix beside Uragum.

"Defenseless? Ha! I'll kill them, and wear their skin as a coat!" The captain's sword tangles with Ola's again before coming across a second time. She blocks it with her shield, before the pirate twists between her and Uragum, avoiding both the goliath's fist and Arnald's next arrow. Sylyra moves to the stairway, descending below decks.
For Sylyra:
Below deck is a smoking mess across from the stairway. The ceiling burns where it meets the inferno on deck, filling most of the area with smoke. There are no survivors in sight, and no noises emanate from further ahead, but the hallway, and a pair of rooms across from one another within the hallway, are still intact and unaffected by the flames.
