Despite the clear evil of the statue, it does not register to Ola's divine senses as any celestial, fiend, or undead being, and it has not been consecrated or desecrated. She also does not detect any such thing within the radius of the barn.
"It is definitely evil and it is beyond my ability to discern what it can do... You are right though, best to give it to the priests. They can deal with whether it is to study or lock away for good," Uragum says.
He turns away from the statue and gets closer to the light of the torches. He gets ready to pull out the journal and notes but stops. Getting closer to the others he says, "we still have the journal and notes to go through but I'd rather do it in private. The people and the crones here are strange and I expect that what ever they are doing is connected to what ever Ixas was searching for."
"At least we know where they are in case of new troubles. Right now I would just like to leave the island, preferably without an accident. You think our ferry man can take us across now?"
"I'll ask," Uragum responds. He grabs one of his torches and makes his way over to the man. "Mornin Mr. Fairyman. You recond we can make it back to the mainland yet or the waters too choppy yet for us all? We got everyone that came over, plus a little girl, the horses and a statue." He pauses, "if it makes a difference we got a small boat we could offer to help out and maybe trade ya for the ride or at least get a discount."
OOC: It's very late into the night. None of the Folk were spotted outside of their homes when you returned. In order to find Warsh, Uragum is going to have to do some searching (and probably knocking). Did you want to go that route, wait until morning, or take the longboat back to Phlan?
In that case, Uragum will state, "It's late, the town has battled, and likely the fairyman is asleep. We can knock down doors and wake him up, rest till morning or head out now. I vote we rest up and leave in the morning."
OOC: The longboats would be able to fit 4 people and a horse, or 2 people and 2 horses. It might take multiple trips, but there are also two longboats on the shore.
"Waiting seems safer. And though I do not like that island and rather make a camp on the mainland, we are all injured and need some rest. Let's rest in this barn until morning."
Morning brings a chilly fog, but otherwise clear weather. The sun peeks out from behind the clouds in bursts, slowly bring the temperature higher and beginning the process of drying the results of the previous night's storm.
Outside, scarcely any sign of the battle can be seen. The Folk go about their daily duties as if nothing had even happened, with the crones stoking the fire pit, Ulburto smoking meat and Warsh setting up his ferry for the calmer waters. While most of the Folk cast side-eyed glances, Elisande still has no apparent misgivings about the Outsides. The young girl bubbles with scattered excitement throughout the morning, happily helping with any task available.
With the rest over, Uragum feels the flow of the arcane within him again. Having that at his disposal always made him feel more confident and safer. With a heavy yawn, put together a ration and went about studying his spellbook for an hour. When done, he inquire with the othes on if they needed to do anything else or if they were ready to see the fairyman.
OOC: Forgot to mention that characters have all gained the benefits of a long rest. Those who can prepare spells can change their list of prepared spells if they wish.
OOC: Arnald will need to purchase components worth 10 gp somewhere where they can be purchased (Phlan, currently) before casting find familiar again. Shouldn't be too long from here.
"Morning, everybody." Ola shared her ration with Elisande, checked the horse and the mule (the girl would ride with her, not with the dead body). "Ready to leave? Does not feel like we need to say good bye to those people." Ola was ready to head back.
Sylyra is ready to knock the mud of his place off his boots. He will do whatever needs to be done to help his compatriots leave as soon as possible. He won't even complain about the child coming along ... yet.

"Evil which is no evil," shrugged Ola. "Does not mean anything, better to give to the priests."

Sylyra agrees. He reminds the group that he only needs four hours of "sleep" per night, so can keep watch for half.
OOC: Then I guess we are staying in the barn until morning.

Arnald rises early and finds a quiet spot to perform the ritual magic needed to re-summon his familiar, Sly.
