Onyx remained uncharacteristically quiet during the trip. More than once he whipped out a pen and his papers and jotted a couple of notes, hurrying to catch up to the others afterwards.
At the sight of the fiend, he raised his hand defensively as the creature began to chant. But, to his surprise, the creature responded to Arbon's words.
In a quivering voice not at all becoming the lord of darkness as expected, the goat man responds back with,
"M-m-m-y Name is Bu-u-u-lezau."
Switching tones, it seems to find some confidence in its next words, the source clearly from a kind of rage or anger. It speaks loud, possibly trying to intimidate,
"And I used to be the strongest!! The mo-o-o-ost powerful!!"
Its nostrils flare a moment but then it lowers its voice a bit again. Calming, it returns to its quavering voice, but still a little shocked.
"Are y-o-o-o-u with those H-h-h-aaaaags?"
It looks down and around, almost confused, stomping its hoof into the polished stone floor.
Arbon laughs, "Most certainly not. I thought they were with you. But there's no need to concern yourselves with them as they won't be joining us or you anytime soon." His faces sets into a stern look however as he continues, "You used to be the strongest, you say? Was it you that summoned our group and the many others like it? Why bring us to this place?"
The creature responds to Arbon, a foul odor now beginning to seep from its grey-blue body.
It stinks of rot, adding a disgusting aura of nausea.
"Ye-e-e-s. They have my fri-e-e-e-nd! Wha-a-a-t ha-a-a-pened!! Whe-e-e-re is he-e-e-e?!"
The monster bleats and cries like a spoiled child, concerned for someone the hags have imprisoned.
Then it hears what Grahl says, and the creature smells the air.
It becomes aware of the burning smells-and large amounts of blood about you all.
The Bulezau straightens its neck, and the muscles on its body swell to a combative posture. Its hooves aggressively stomps the ground and It locks eyes with Grahl from the top of the stairs.
The monster doesn't react immediately to the name. After the briefest of considerations, it responds to Grahl's shift in posture with a powerful retreat, sprinting for the upstairs door on the left but before it leaves sight, it makes a quick turn and sprints.
It makes a long jump from the balcony and lands behind and among you all, its face towards the bridge.
Arbon casts a blessing on everyone in the group (1d4 to attacks and saves) and then readies his shield and mace, "What is this goat man doing?" he says under his breath so that the others can hear.
Onyx raised his hand defensively, wondering what the fiend would do. He had had an entire explanation he was preparing in his mind--but it suddenly seemed as if the goat man wasn't going to be very interested.
When the creature jumps off of the balcony...(Grahl)
Grahl looked to the left of the demon at the door it was running towards to gain speed for a jump. There was a clear knock on the other side of the door that did not originate from the monster.
The Bulezau landed hard on its goat-like hooves, its barded tail ready to strike. It observed Chazrael leveling his bow at it carefully, not rushing to move. With a snakelike swerve, and immediate stare in the eyes, it addressed Arbon partially before Grahl said it was scared.
"Is-s-s-s he de-e-e-ad?!? Wha-"
It stomped frustrated, unknowingly or uncaringly swinging about to Grahl mid sentence. Its barded tail brushing near all of you in the close distance.
"Sca-a-a-red?!? Who-o-o-ose scared?! Me, or all of yo-o-o-o?!?! Who-o-o-o needs fo-o-o-our to beat o-o-o-ne?!"
it looked Grahl up and down, and had no idea what to make of him. It once again swung about to all of you looking for signs of its "friend."
Onyx sighed. Might as well start with the truth. It might not work, but at least the goat man wouldn't be able to accuse them of hiding anything.
"Look," began the warlock. "He was nearly dead by the time we freed him from the hags. We rescued him, and even did surgery to remove the item that was whittling away at his health. But his wounds were too much, plus he seemed to have lost the will to fight. He passed away while we were asleep."
He hesitated. He knew the fiend wouldn't like any of this, but he would probably find out anyway, and besides--he deserved to know.
"For what it's worth, I'm sorry."
The warlock lowered his defensive hand gesture, but only partially.
The creature intently listens to Onyx's explanation...(Grahl & Onyx)
There is a second knock at the door to the left where the demon started its run from. It is light but clearly audible while talking to both Onyx & Grahl.
When finished, the creature clearly had trouble with something Onyx said. It wasn't that it didn't believe Onyx, rather, it didn't understand how such things came to pass.
Nevertheless, it responds,
"Uri is...dead?"
The Bulezau wandered forward a bit, and then a bit more. It pushed open the doors and started walking towards the rope bridge while muttering,
Arbon watches closely as the Bulezau moves towards the rope bridge they recently traversed. He draws the others close and whispers, "The ropes on that bridge..." then brings his hand down on his arm in a chopping action and nods to the others that they understand.

Onyx simply nodded. It was a good question, and he was quite eager to see what this goat-fiend had to say for itself.

Grahl nods Grahl here now, Grahl strongest.
He puffs his chest and leans on his axe as Arbon speaks to the goatman. Commenting to himself more then the others. Hags dead now.
Birds too.
The creature responds to Arbon, a foul odor now beginning to seep from its grey-blue body.
It stinks of rot, adding a disgusting aura of nausea.

Grahl, what do you do?
Grahl will recognize the posture to be aggressive and stop leaning on his axe.
He loosens his neck a moment displaying himself getting ready almost goading the goat.
Grahl moves the axe slightly behind himself having the axehead rest on the ground. To clarify Grahl does ask Urithag goat friend?
The monster doesn't react immediately to the name. After the briefest of considerations, it responds to Grahl's shift in posture with a powerful retreat, sprinting for the upstairs door on the left but before it leaves sight, it makes a quick turn and sprints.

Chazrael will draw his bow and knock an arrow. If the monster attacks, he'll fire it.

Grahl turns to face the goat but sees its looking in the other direction. This frustrates Grahl, unsure of what the goat is doing as Arbon asks.
Why run, goatman scared? he asks loudly for the goatman to hear.
Does Grahl hear anything from other parts of the building after the goatman jumped down?
