if it does 11 damage, then im dead because the character is level one. so i guess im dying unless zeed can give me the cure poison i bought. i dont know if i should do death saves or whatever but if so, because the battles over, i just rolled all my death saves at once. (19, 17, 12.) so i guess im stable. (i made the saves in the middle of this post, so sorry if it dosent make sense.)

umm, well i guess i dont have that much money, so i guess ill just set my bedroll up in a secluded place and hope i dont get robbed

Well whats a better place then the alley you got mugged in? You manage to get your bedroll out and lay it down and get your pack off. Your pack, armor, and weapons are just less than a foot away from you. You drift into an almost drugged sleep from the rementants of poison still in your veins. 8 hours later you awake to a cold morning.

I awake with a gasp. [GASP COUGH COUGH HACK, SPIT] I eat one third of my daily rations, and with a burp, i rasp "Come on, Zeed. We should get going." I then don my armor, pack, and weapons, pack up my bedroll, and head north.

do i see anything on the road?

You travel for a while about an hour when you see two men arguing in the middle of the road up ahead. One is pulling a little cart and the other is dressed in plate armor with a spear. You're still to far away to hear much of what they're saying but it sounds very intense.

i eavesdrop, prepared to cast spells as necessary (stealth 15)

You get closer I assume and you hear from the solider "I can't keep helping you smuggle things in anymore. Give me my payment and I'll leave." Then the cart puller says "Please don't do this." he sighs then he pulls a knife out of his coat and presses it against solider's neck all while he kicks the solider's spear away. "You have been very useful but your use ended right as you gave up you weakling."

I walk up with my stubby gnome hands outstretched cheerfully and a big (fake) smile on my face, secretly casting charm person on the cart puller as i say cheerfully; "Gentlemen, i coudnt help but overhear some of your conversation, so i ask, couldn't we settle this peacefully?"

The cart puller turns to you, takes the knife off the soldiers neck and says "Hey buddy do I know you? Hey we should totally kill this guy for not helping me smuggle any more weapons to the group." The soldier lunges forward and grabs the knife and flings it into the trees.

I look him square in the eyes with a slight smile. "I assure you, violent actions are not necessary. May I ask which group you are talking about?" I also gently tug the soldier away, trying to signal for him to leave. Quickly.

You realize the soldier is shaking, he kneels down to you with his eyes glued to the ground and says "I am in your debt La Montao. Please spare my humble life. I will give you all you desire if you would only spare my existence." The cart puller puts his hand into his jacket and after a little bit of rummaging around he pulls out a small carving knife with a oak handle and hands it to you casually saying "You wanna do the honors buddy? I personally like going right through the space between the nose and the mouth. Makes the body look real funny, also not much blood in that place."

I give the soldier a small (and hopefully unnoticeable to the cart puller) wink along with a reassuring pat and say, "I dunno. maybe we should let him run and spread the word. fear is a weapon more powerful than a simple knife, you know. imagine what it could do for the already powerful group." i then pocket the knife, trying to not cut myself accidentally, but do so nonchalantly, so he dosent give much thought to it, because the less knives he has, the better.

The soldier is looking at the ground so he doesn't notice the wink. He seems as though he is expecting a punishment or something. The cart puller may or may not have noticed you taking the knife make a DC 15 slight of hand check. (He is watching you.)

Also could you try to put a little more descriptions in your posts. It's hard to tell what you want to do sometimes.

Ok, so what in trying to do is get the soldier to run away, and seedymcgangmember to not kill the soldier, and tell me what the group is. Also 18 for sleight if hand
