Higgul glances to Honor.  "Why are you all so interested in that guy?"  He asks.

"Is he a... you know..." Walter asks, trying to keep his voice down, where Higgul's was a bit too loud.

Naivara smiles and thanks the man, before looking back to her friends and then back to him, "Think you can keep a secret?" she asks him.

Kyrian sighs at Keirro's question. "Not many rampaging dragons for me to kill. Searching mostly. I....I dont know about you folks, but I dont quite remember what happened. My last memory was......now I come to think of It I dont HAVE a 'last memory'. I feel like the events of the months before my....whatever it was, are all out of order."

"For you, I would keep any secret you might wish to share."  Palvin says with an honesty to his words Naivara has little doubt is sincere.

Honor laughs. "Yes, he's a 'you know,'" she parrots back at Walter, keeping her tone light so that no one takes the phrase to be ominous. "Though I'd probably still be staring anyways, he fills out that tunic quite well." She taps Walter's glass with hers. "PIty Naivara got there first, were you interested?"

To Kyrian, she says "I'm not sure how much time we're missing. I guess Kierro might be able to ask that friend of his, I haven't had any luck getting answers from the Divine myself."

"Did you hear about the brawl over at the Hilt and Spear?" The barkeep asks Palvin as he finishes giving Naivara her drink. "Some hobgoblins got into it with a group of those Cult of the Dragon fellows. The few of them that survived the tussle were carted off to the Halls of Justice."

"Dragon cultists, huh? Well most of them are often up to no good." Palvin says with a shrug, clearly not overly concerned.

"Seems like something those two groups would do," Naivara says, not very interested either. When the bartender finishes, she smiles at Palvin, "My friends and I are going treasure hunting."

Tessa listens in on the conversation and enjoys an ale. She is watching Kyrian's interaction with the other non-Dragonlords to see if any seen drawn to him; but otherwise she is quiet and nurses her ale.

 "Seems like a bad place to be doing that."  Palvin says with a frown.  "I hear an ancient white dragon often prowls the waters north of here." He gives Naivara a worried glance.  "Hate to see a pretty lass like you get frozen into a white's trophy case."

"Oh?" Naivara asks, "well, that does sound very unfortunate, but don't you worry, I'll make sure that we stay out of the range of any dragons like that. Hopefully we don't have to go as north as we believe we do."

"But," she puts a hand on his own, "I appreciate the concern. It's nice to know a man like you would be worried about someone like me."

"Then have fun with your hunt."  Palvin says with a sigh.  He turns back to his drink, taking a long pull.

"Well," Naivara says, "we're not leaving till tomorrow, I dont suppose you'd want to go somewhere else and tell me more about what you know?"

"I shouldn't..."  Palvin says, but shakes his head.  With a nod he pushes up from his chair, almost in a daze.  "Sure, we can go back to my place if you want..."

"That sounds good," Naivara says with a smile, looking back to the party briefly, "do you want to finish your drink first?"

"Of course," Naivara says, "I guess this gives you a chance to finish it Palvin," she laughs, finishing her own before going to join Kyrian, "what's wrong?"

"I know I am new, but you should not act like that. Your power is to be used, but not abused. How would you feel if suddenly dragons had that power over you? The mind of a sentient creature is precious, and freedom is sacred. I know what it feels like to have freedom stripped away from you. By all means go, but think about what I have said." As he finishes, he turns to leave, but not before you see the grief in his eyes. He returns to the table, even more brooding than before, which must be a feat of endurance.
