Ok... I have started Latrius's approach to the temple in a PM with him. If anyone here is doing anything in the next 5 hours of game time, let me know. I assume Leto continues to monitor, or at least get reports from, his familiar.
"Yes trees and such." Palvin replies. The sailors are busily taking care of getting those trees and such and seem to have it well in hand. As for clearness above, there are still flying creatures about, clearly keeping a eye on the group of you.
Palvin Stands on the beach, near Castisha he is also fairly near to Naivara, glancing to ehr in concern at her obvious worry about Latrius's actions. "Would you like me to go and bring him back?" Palvin asks Naivara.
Roberto Gives his wife a shrug, though no words have passed between them. He stays at her side though, eyes constantly scanning the area around them.
ymephis Moves up behind Naivara and begins to rub her shoulders. "Men are just that way." She says in a soft whisper meant only for Naivara. "Most are just thick headed and needing guidance."
iveodaenth A cloud moves lower in the sky, not far above the trees, but not low enough to cause too much concern about it being there.
yrsaintinth Stands like a statue next to Leto, barely appearing to breathe, his eyes staring fixedly out at the water.
fesyss "I am starting to get bored." She says to Sinder. She walks to the water and takes off her boots, walking in the water and picking up small stones to toss out at the waves.
fraty fraty starts to wander off, she moves into the forest and starts to walk away from the group, following a butterfly as it glides through the trunks.
chysen "Looks like the Chaos dragon is getting distracted." He says to Kierro, nodding to where fraty just disappeared into the jungle.
emmy Emmy bounces from here to there on the beach, racing herself up and down the sandy expanse several times, then jumping into the water for a swim, before coming back to Honor's side. "Ready to go yet?" She asks Honor, likely for the twentieth time.
Castisha Continues to instruct her crew as they cut down trees and work the trees to get something that can be used to repair the ship. She has little attention left over for anything else.
Higgul Stands next to Honor. "If we have to defend ourselves, this is not the place to do it." Higgul informs Honor as he scans the tactical situation. "They can pretty much shoot at us from range like fish in a barrel and we won't be able to do much about it." He sighs. "Likely their reason for telling us to stay on the beach, as it benefits them."
Morgan Eyes the statue-like stone dragon moore than once, but remains next to Leto. "I don't like this." He whispers to Leto. "Seems like we are in a precarious position here, and doing nothing to make it better." he eyes those around them. "Do you trust these guys? I mean, it seems like most of them are either goody-two-shoes, or likely to stab us in the back the first chance they get."
Honor asks Higgul to make sure Castisha is aware of the situation, in case we need to leave rapidly or the crew needs to get to cover. "If they can speed up, they should, but I expect they can't, and they shouldn't speed up to the point of being unsafe. A few more or less logs won't make a difference in the long run."
To the others, she asks, "Do we want to try and negotiate with them? Disavow Latrius' actions? Or do we think he'll be able to bring the dragon around? We should do what we can to create better defenses in case the locals decide to do something before Latrius gets to make his case."
"I think... I think he'll be able to bring him around. I just worry about what might happen to him, and to everyone else. Better defenses couldn't hurt, though." Kierro replies to Honor.
He glances to Fratty as she runs off chasing the butterfly. He turns to Kyrian, and is about to suggest that he try to stop her, but shakes his head. That hasn't worked before and it probably won't work now.
Returning his gaze to Chysen, he asks: "Perhaps we can lure her back here in much the same way. Maybe conjure something more interesting. Could you do something like that?"
"That is assuming another animal would get her interest." The gold dragon says with a frown. "There is no way to judge what a chaos might find of interest. I will try though, if you wish it done."
"goody-two-shoes are easy to handle, and those who would stab us in the back would lose more. For the time being this group provides us the best methods of gaining continued power. As long as there are artifacts for us to find, and you've seen the strength they grant us, we would be hard pressed to find a more efficient means than working with this group. As little as I enjoy their company." Looking around the group he adds, "It is the elf and her 'husband' I trust the least; if only because they are the ones I understand the least. They also seem to be able to communicate as I can. She is likely hiding some abilities."
To the rest of the group he says, "If this dragon in the temple is like the rest of our, companions,"pausing at the word and choosing something more friendly than the 'beast' he was thinking, "Latrius will almost certainly be able to influence it. The difficulty will be in getting to it. As sneaky as he is, this temple appears less a place of worship, and more a military complex. But he cannot be stopped now..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nadariel gets up from under his shade and walks towards the edge of the jungle. He takes his bandore and plays a few tunes on it. As the music gets more intense, he slowly starts to levitate untill he is 20 ft up in the air.
Can i see anything from up here? How far is the temple, are there any other landmarks? Perception 17
Naivara shakes her head, "No... there isn't a point, it'll just wind up with more people getting hurt." She smiles at Ymephis, "Not sure I know enough about men to agree with you, but thanks."

You would be able to see the top of the temple, some distance away, with several miles of jungle between you and it. There are also a few flying creatures around, the familiars watching the group. No other structures though.
Honor's going to start reviewing defensible locations on the beach with Higgul, and also gathering any nets we might have with us (Honor has one already), in case we need to get the familiars out of the sky without killing them.
As the gold dragon is about to start casting the spell the chaos dragon wanders out of the forest, a ways down the beach, clearly having lost interest in the butterfly. She starts heading back towards the group on her own.
((not sure on the timing here... but...)) After a few hours have passed while the others make their plans, Leto comes to the group and says, "I have some good news and some bad news. It seems our... companion... has made it to the temple. Though has been captured alive."

"I just don't get why he'a being so selfish," Naivara says. "He knows what'll happen if he gets caught."

"It's worth a shot." Kierro replies to Chysen.
It would likely take an hour to fly to the temple from here, so 2 or 3 miles.
