As each of you touch the item that called to you, you get another vision...
In this vision you are somewhere in the old world, and, without warning, experience a flash of something overtaking you physically and mentally. If you were flying you slump over on your dragon, who lands in concern. If you were walking, you fall prone.
When you wake in the vision, you have changed. Physically you look the same, but a power now burns inside of you.
As you come out of the vision, you feel that same power burning inside of you. (You are Divine rank 0... You all can now cast any domain spell, from the primary domain you sent me previously, at will and without any components needed.)
Naivara blinks and rubs her temples as the vision comes. When she returns to herself after the vison, she turns to Vale, who seems to be in the middle of his own metamorphosis. At the end, he returned to what she once remembered, though his coloring seemed to have changed with the environment. She kneels down and embraces the Drake, "It's good to know you're still here," she says to him.
Latrius shakes his head slightly, frowning. He seems to blend into the shadows a little bit more deeply even than normal, and there's an odd flickering aura about him. It's not quite clear where he actually is, his outline seems blurred.

Taking a second to recover from the dizzying sensations, Leto looks down at his Imp, who had been clawing at the ice trying to get some treasure out, looking up to him with a mischievous grin on his face and thinks “Perhaps this creature remembers more than I do...” and then flexing his hands as he feels the power return says “Ah... that feels more like it. Like getting back the power once lost.”
The ice around Honor starts to melt and the air around her warms for a moment. She carefully loosens her grip on the smoky quartz sphere she'd picked up, and carefully puts it in her bag, taking the moment to gather her thoughts.
Kierro closes his eyes, a few deep breaths coming to him. Daylight surrounds him, casting a warm glow about himself and scattering refractions of light around the ice-filled room. He slips on the ring that was buried in the ice and opens his eyes once more.
"I feel much better about our chances here." he says with a warm smile.
As you come out of the vision, and feel the power inside of you, you find you still stand in the dragon's underground ice cavern. No dragon comes to attack or face you though. After a few moments you realize the dragon most likely fled.
Palvin watches you reclaim the items that called each of you, his face blank as he does so. Turning to Naivara he asks. "What will you have of me mistress?" He kneels down, bowing his head in supplication.
(You have reached the level at which you can control Adult dragons...)
Morgan and Persus stand back, both watching as the group seems to go through strange changes before their eyes. Persus seems more concerned than interested by what he sees.
Naviara looks to Palvin, "Right now, we we need to get back to the ship and ready to sail again. After that who knows where we'll end up. And you don't have to call me Mistress,"she seems uncomfortable with the word.
Kierro looks to make sure everyone that came in with them is coming out. He glances to Persus and sees the expression on his face. As the group is walking back, he asks quietly: "What's wrong? You seem a bit worried."
Leto glances over at Morgan and lifts his head indicating that the men should approach. “Seems things got more interesting than we thought eh?”He asks. Then looking around the room says “Shall we collect some of this horde before heading back?” He then heads towards the nearest pile of platinum or gems under the ice to melt some away as the others collect their thoughts, chuckling as his imp continues to dig through the ice nearby.
"If the dragon has truly fled then it couldn't hurt," Honor states. "And we might have less problems than we thought even if he did," she adds, looking at Palvin. She casts Detect Magic to see if there are any additional significant magical signatures or possible traps buried in the ice.
You are able to melt the following out of the ice...
700 gp, 1,000 sp, and 20 precious stones (five each worth 200 gp, 400 gp, 600 gp, and 800 gp).
The trip up out of the ice caverns is difficult, but you do not find any further enemies to fight. The most difficult part is getting up out of the lair itself, as there is a large open area between the top of the ice platform and the chute you came down. Eventually you have the imp fly up with a rope, to tie it to something so you can climb up and out.
Persus glances to Kierro. "I think you are something dangerous for this world." Persus says with a grim look on his face. "You are clearly not of this world, and I fear what you will do to it." He will not speak further on this and grimly walks along at the back of the group.
Palvin gives Naivara a bow of subservance. He moves along with the group as you move out of the caverns.
Morgan aids Leto in digging out the coins and gemstones.
Once out of the caverns you find the village of the ice folk has changed. Every single villager is frozen solid, and the buildings destroyed. "Seems the white wanted to have the last word..." Palvin says with a grim look around.
Kyrian has a blank expression, but his eyes are stormy and he stands ridged. You get the feeling its not because of the cold. "We cannot leave them like this. They deserve better than to be left as carrion."
He walks towards the nearest bodies and tries to pry them from the ice. If he can, he will also start to dig graves in the snow.

Latrius is completely and utterly silent, only his white knuckles slightly betraying his inner thoughts. A single finger on each hand caresses each sword hilt, but other than that he’s completely still.

"It's awful." Kierro says solemly as he glances about the village. "And cowardly."
He then glances toward the water below, holding up his holy symbol and casting sending to Castisha, the Ice Floe captain:
Kyrian has a blank expression, but his eyes are stormy and he stands ridged. You get the feeling its not because of the cold. "We cannot leave them like this. They deserve better than to be left as carrion."

Once Castisha replies (or, gods forbid, doesn't reply) Kierro will help as well, whispering a prayer for the fallen villagers.
