As the group continues down the hallway (trap perception: 25), Kierro asks:
"Honor, remember that feeling you said you had in the Halls of Justice back in Neverwinter? A feeling of being watched and uncomfortable? You think it might be the deities of this world having the same feelings as the deities of our world? Us growing in power, and them responding by sending people to destroy us?...
...the storm on our way here, too. We were able to deduce that it was divine in nature. It could have been sent to destroy us as well."
The gate proves to be no hinderance. Once the rune was dispelled Kyrian hefted up the gate with a feat of strength. The group moved on South. Coming to the next tunnel, you see it runs East and West. To the West you see a chamber that looks to have many winged shapes flitting about in the steam and haze of the chamber. To the East you see a long tunnel that has another tunnel, a bit down it from where you stand, that leads back North. Past that side passage though another chamber opens up to the East.
You sense your items from the East and South still.
Moving East to the chamber you find a 30 ft circular chamber. There are several of the flame warriors you destroyed previously in it, all dead, and the room itself is coated with sand and grit. Those of you who remember sensing the yellow dragon realize this is likely from that creature. You all would sense the dragon again, and have been doing so for a little while now. As you are looking at this chamber though the sense of the dragon vanishes once again. It was around the same area Kyrian would sense his item still.
The items, Kyrian's, Leto's, and Honor's, are all more South than East now. The only exit to this chamber is an open door leading East. Naivara's item is still a lot further East than South.
We are now in synch with all groups.
The main group, you guys, step through the open door into a chamber with murals of wizards on the walls. A lava river flows through an archway in the north wall, across the chamber, and through an archway in the South wall. The lava river fills the space between the archways, but it looks like you could either jump through, landing on one side of the river or the other, or climb along the wall of the archway.
To the South you see an Axial dragon, in dragon-form, as well as a young dwarf, a halfling most of the group will recognize as Tessa, and the constructs that travel with Latrius. Latrius is not to be seen, so, as you are use to that, is likely hiding in the shadows somewhere.
The chamber to the south has a closed door to the South, and passages leading to the East and West. The lava river pools in the center of the chamber, with an island in the middle of that pool.
Honor and Kyrian sense their items in the next chamber. Kyrian senses his from the young dwarf, while honor senses hers from the shadows near the center of the island.
I am going to have the other group move back here.
"I was thinking the same thing. I would hesitate using the boat as a method of transport. If we can find a stretch of the sea in which the dragons can transport us in a single trip, I believe that would be safer."

"Right. I believe that to travel via the Ice Floe any longer is to endanger the lives of her crew - it might be for the best that they return to Neverwinter." Kierro says as they continue.
He looks up toward the familiar halfling. "Tessa. It's been a while."
Kyrian smiles and inclines his head to Tessa "We thought you were dead." Turning, he addresses the dwarf "I believe you have something that belongs to me. You led us on quite the chase to reach you."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
For those just meeting Tessa. She is a comely halfling lass standing barely over 2 and a half feet tall. She is slender and weighs less then 2 stones. She is dressed in loose fitting tunic with long sleeves, clearly designed for a small child and not a halfling. She wears fitted leggings and has a short bow and bristling quiver of arrows atop her right shoulder. She carries a short sword upon her left hip. She has bouncing blonde curls that frame a cherublike face that is extraordinarily expressive. Right now that face expresses contemplation as she looks upon the dwarven lad. Finally his gaze is drawn to her eyes. Tessa eyes are a deep blue that speak of the sea and the deep dark of the night.
Tessa was in the process of introducing herself to the dwarven lad and had her hand extended in greeting as the others enter the chamber. Her eyes scan past the dwarf to the others as her face flashes to an excited grin. Her eyes practically dance in wonder at seeing the others. They settle on Honor, briefly before turning to the many others who are all talking at once. The chaos and commotion of the greetings add to the excitement nearly over stimulating the young halfling.
She releases a giggle of sheer glee at seeing so many familiar faces once more. She exclaims to the group at large, "Well met once again! Dead. No, it doesn't stick to the likes of me. It be grand to see you lot again. And so many new friends as well! My, my, my... You lot have been busy! I believe Latrius has one of your items about."
As the group continues down the hallway (trap perception: 24), Kierro asks:
"Honor, remember that feeling you said you had in the Halls of Justice back in Neverwinter? A feeling of being watched and uncomfortable? You think it might be the deities of this world having the same feelings as the deities of our world? Us growing in power, and them responding by sending people to destroy us?...
...the storm on our way here, too. We were able to deduce that it was divine in nature. It could have been sent to destroy us as well."
"I'm afraid that may be the case. As I said, Tyr seems the strict type. Next time we're back in a major city, we should look for temples of some of the more neutral gods, maybe. They might at least give us answers. Bahamut, if possible."
Honor grins as they come across Tessa. "Tessa! Good to see you up and about again, welcome! Yes, I trust Latrius has my item safely in hand." She deliberately keeps her eyes on Tessa, not looking towards where she senses the pull of her item, keeping Latrius' place of concealment hidden. "Though I'd like to examine it soon, it seems we're coming across more questions than answers."
Tessa's senses are alive in the proximity of so many dragon lords and their accompanying dragons. Her eyes dart from one face to amother in a dance of excitement, fear, and the ever constant mania. The power amongst this chamber from this group is almost palpable.
It leaves Tessa feeling light headed and flushed for a moment. She is lost in the tumultuous euphoria of the moment and almost washed away in the sheer joy of the chaos and opportunity represented by the group.
Then she catches Honor's eyes and the look they share across the chamber serves as an anchor to reign Tessa in from the rising tides of mercurial energy she felt. Tessa flashes a brief smile at Honor as she pauses in her greetings to collect herself. She clutches something at the bodice of her tunic and shakes her head as if to clear it and sending her golden curls bouncing about. She then marches towards Honor and the dragon by her side.
As she closes the distance she pauses to a knowledge the greetings from Naivara, Kierro, and Kyrian. She does so with a beaming smile and her eyes aglow with excitement to be admist this group once more.
Finally as she closes with Honor she says with a wink, "My thanks for that welcome destraction. I was lost admist the storm of emotions at my rejoining with ye lot. I see you have a new friend." Tessa looks to Emmy and extends her diminutive hand as she says, "Captain Tessa Stormdance at yer service. Adventuress, Swordswoman, and the life of any party. And who are you my dear?"

There is a flash of understanding across the dwarf's face as Tessa crosses back across to greet the other dragon lords and for a moment, there is an age behind the dwarf that seems curious given his age.
Standing there is a young dwarven boy with an innocent-looking expression and a soft smile. Barely taller than 3 feet, he is shorter than everyone else in the room save for the halfling woman whom he was earlier talking to.
As Tessa reintroduces herself to the other dragon lords, the boy looks up surprised when Kyrian addresses him. "Quite a chase?" He says awestruck, "I'm not sure what you are talking about, but if I have something of yours then I have no problem returning it." With that, he reaches into a bag at his side and starts pulling things out. There are three things of note, he pulls out a wand with a large blue crystal at its tip from his pack as well as a fancy suit of studded leather armor that appears too big for him and Kyrian's item (I believe it was a claw of some kind?). Other than that, he pulls out a massive bag of ball bearings, a moderately used climbing kit, a crowbar, a hammer, and a candle. "Here are a few of the things that I have found in here. Most of this stuff was on the dead body I found. If any of these belong to you, I apologize and you can have it back." He appears to be eager to please and still in shock at seeing so many dragons. After Kyrian takes his item, the dwarf starts putting the rest of the items back in his bag.
Once Tessa goes to Emmy to introduce herself, the dwarf pipes up to the group, "Hullo! My name is Adam." If anyone in the group responds to him, he lowers his head sheepishly, and it is clear that he is a bit scared and in awe of all of the people here.

Tessa smiles at Kyrian as she replies, "Death and I are mates of a sort. I send him rude and unfriendly individuals I encounter in my travels to help him meet his endless quota. In return he lets me come and go as I please." Tessa winks at Kyrian as she finishes speaking. Leaving the tall Dragonborn to ponder if her statement was a boast or something more.
Tessa turns her attention to Adam as he makes his introduction. She nods at him in acknowledgment and flashes him an encouraging smile as he stumbles through his introduction to the group. She then promptly turns her back on him to speak with the fascinating Emmy and Honor once more.
Honor laughs. "This is Emmy. I think you two would get along quite well." She throws a quick salute in the general direction from which the breastplate appeared, and picks it up.
Tessa Emmy looks at the offered hand for a bit, then takes it. She smiles as she shakes it and holds Tessa's eyes. There is clearly a level of commonality between the two, a bit of chaos swirling in Emmy's eyes. "I am Emmy." Emmy says, glancing away to Honor, then back to Tessa. "A sailor then?" She asks at Tessa's introduction. "I've known a few of those... You should have seen the storm we had to sail through a few days ago. That was crazy fun. Have you been here long? I've been fairly bored in this dungeon so far, no one lets me do anything fun you see..." She continues on, jumping from topic to topic.
Leto's item is still directly south from here. Naivara's item is South and East, a goodly distance in both directions yet.
Kyrian's face contorts in pain as he touches his item. His hands squeeze the claw so tightly that the tip pierces his palm and he starts to bleed. After a few moments, his eyes open, and he smiles. He stretches his arms out in front of him, and all of you are surprised to see that they are enchained in manacles. Saying an ancient word, the manacles unclasp and drop to the floor with a loud bang, then turn to ashes. After a few seconds, there is nothing left to suggest they were ever there. Kyrian grins and admires his now freed hands.
"Glad I remembered to take those off. I realized that they had been put on me soon after I arrived here. I assume it was a god before we fell. Anyway, they restricted my magic by imprisoning my soul. With every item we found, the prison has been under more and more strain. This last one broke the prison and allowed me to get rid of the blasted things."
Kyrian himself had also changed. He looks younger, despite the fact his physical body hadn't changed. His irises are no longer solid black, but flecked with gold. Most notably, his power levels have increased significantly, almost leaking energy as he struggles to adapt to the new influx of magic. You also sense none of the same reserve his former self had, he seems more care-free. More unpredictable.
