"You believe there's more than just the ones we were drawn to when we first awoke?" Kierro seems to ponder it a bit. "Perhaps - I wonder how close we have to be to get the feeling that the object belongs, and know which direction that the objects are in."
Mylene - Kierro - Naivara
"I would assume there are more, certainly," Mylene says. "I'm not the kind of woman to own just one precious thing, I can tell you that much I am sure of. That is an excellent notion - how to detect the presence of other said objects, possessions from our past lives that carry our past memories. See, look how productive this has been. Now we have a new approach to consider. If only everyone was this cooperative, but, alas, there are always malcontents and rogue elements, even when it serves no purpose. You two are just a delight, however."
She gestures about the inn, and the town. "I'd like to know what others have experienced, but if either of you have any suggestions or thoughts as to how we might find other, I don't know, puzzle pieces to our memory in our former items, I'd love to hear it. I would say some sort of magic might do it, but if we don't know the items yet, it would be very difficult to locate them even with magic. I suppose travel and search could do it, but that seems far too haphazard. Let me know what you come up with, and I'll do the same. Who do you recommend I interview next? You're welcome to tag along if you wish, of course."
She heads to the mercantile shop to procure some last minute items. She rushes in still logging her raspberry bucket. "I would like to make a purchase of a bedroll, blanket, rope, 2 sacks, a deck of playing cards, and a set of gaming dice. Also, tell me are you in the market for half a bucket of raspberries? I note you have none." She flashes an innocent smile at the merchant or his clerk.
"Um..." The general store owner says with a frown. "No, I think we are good, we'll get more raspberrie sint he mroning." He nods to the street. "You can find the items you seek across the road, bedrolls, and such are providence of the Lionshield Coster."

Once you are done talking with the others, Walter meets you back in his cottage. He has set up a meet with Glasstaff for later that evening, around 9 P.M. in a ruin on the north end of town. Walter tells you this is about as good of neutral area to be found, as the redbrand hq is in the SE and so is the Sleeping Giant inn.
"I don't remember much about my service to my god," Naivara says, "but perhaps Sister... Garaele correct? Maybe she would be able to point us in the right direction? We could ask her tomorrow, once we're done inspecting the goblin's ambush sight and hideout."
OOC: Once she wraps her current conversation up I will move her to that, meeting with Walter and Glasstaff, etc.

“Garaele, was that the elven woman from the shrine where they pray for luck? She wasn’t too useful when I spoke to her earlier about our affliction, if so. It didn’t even seem odd to her that multiple people came to town reporting the same symptoms. Not the sharpest one, that,” Mylene says. “Still, I suppose it is worth asking.”
She stands and excuses herself, attempting a curtesy in the common clothes, and making a sour expression. “I need a proper dress, this is rubbish. Oh well, ta ta for now, I’ll be meeting up with all of you again later. I’m going to pursue this investigation elsewhere. Be sure to recall anything else you learn from the others, or the elf cleric woman.”
She goes to meet Walter, and says, “Very well, Walter. I will meet him at 9. I am ready when you are, lead the way.”
The cleric looks toward Mylene as she leaves, then turns back to Naivara.
"Sister Garaele? She was very nice actually, helped to answer a few of my questions. I'm sure she'll be able to help. What shall we do until we meet up with the others? Hmm... I should probably get myself some trail gear - a bedroll at least. Would you need one?"

Sylcan Naïlo: (To Vilana and Latrius)
Realizing Vilana was leaving the decision up to him, Sylcan grinned. "Well, we did buy this equipment. It would be a shame not to learn how to use it." Turning to the direction Latrius was walking in, Sylcan ran over to catch up to him. "Latrius, right? Would you mind if I and Vilana went along with you to your camp?" Grinning madly like a fool, he continued. "If anything, it'll allow us to get an early start on those plans you have."
Walter leads you in a winding path through some of the ruins along the western and then northern ends of town. After only a few minutes you come up to what must have been an old watch tower, now nothing more than some foundation stones. A short, dark-bearded human male in robes, stands there awaiting you. He wears a princely mantle of ermine. A beautiful glass staff is in his hand and his eyes are calculating as you approach. Behind him stand 2 thugs wearing red cloaks.
"Walter, thank you for making this introduction." The man says in a cultured voice. He bows respectfully to Milene then, showing great courtly manners. "My lady, I truly hope our relationship will start off better than the last of those afflicted like you did. He was not patient enough I am afraid, and did not trust my word." He shrugs as he straightens up. "My employer has asked me to learn more about who you people are, since there seems to be an abundance of new people in the area, all who have lost their memories somehow. I would offer you the hospitality of my stronghold, here in Phandalin, and would like to do what small magics I have at my disposal, to see if i can detect anything that might be causing this loss of memory. I fear that will come to nothing though, but we need to start somewhere."

Mylene again goes through the habitual greeting of a curtesy, as best she can in Walter’s baggy clothes, and greets the man with a musical lilt to her voice. “I am likewise honored to make your acquaintance, Magus Glasstaff. I am also quite hopeful that we can aid one another, and I assure you, this meeting will likely go more smoothly. Some of the others have not taken their affliction well. It has made them... a bit cranky, to put it lightly. Don’t judge us all based on their poor manners.”
She takes on another intentionally distracting posture, pivoting her hips sideways and making gestures with one hand while the other is wrapped around her waist. “Do you recall which of us you spoke with previously? Regardless, it sounds like you have a general understanding of the situation, and as a man of authority in this region, the sudden appearance of so many colorful individuals would naturally concern you. I assure you, I value order, particularly the kind that strong willed men can provide a region. I have no intention of disrupting that. Sowing Chaos does neither of us any good.”
She adds, “Walter has naturally told you of me, but as you know, I am Mylene. The memory curse has afflicted me more than the others, as they appear to be common sell swords who have forgotten what towns to avoid to dodge their unwanted children, who owed them money and who they are owed from, and so on. I obviously have a greater history than such pettiness, and a greater destiny as well, to reclaim it.”
”As for joining you in your manor, as lovely as that sounds, I do also wish to keep tabs on the others who are both like - and unlike - me. I fear being away from them for too long they might scatter or get themselves into trouble. I would be interested in discussing what you magic might be able to provide to either restore my memories, or tell me more about the nature of this curse.”
”Magic could even help me locate more of the items that resonate with my memories. All the others like me seem to have discovered it - objects they once possessed carry residual memories that return when they reclaim the objects.”
Vilana thought for a moment about the hot bath that she planned already, sighed and followed Sylcan - she was not about to loose her only stable connection to this world, and tomorrow they were supposed to have some fight anyway, so, baths could wait. The choice of the place and camps arrangements she left to the boys: whoever she was before, she did not feel like her "natural habitat" so to speak, was the woods. Or any kind of uncivilized surrounding. Vilana was ready to take her share of night watching (if both elves needed someone else to do so, for whatever reason), but other than that was mostly silent, curious about re-union of the two. Who knows - a gesture, a word, a joke could instigate the memory.

"Well I was hoping to offer you the hospitality of my place, and a chance to get out of those rustic clothes you are in." The wizard says as he glances over Milene's clothing with a bit more interest than not. "I should be able to find you more suitable clothing, since we do keep such things in our stronghold, there is no telling when one of our agents might need to look like a respectable noble lady, such as yourself." He shrugs. "As for the others like you, let us just say we have them under watch already, so I can inform you of their moves come morning without any difficulty." He holds Milene's gaze directly. "I will do nothing to stop you from going your own way, but having allies in your situation would not be a bad thing. I've heard that those like you were less than accepting of your leadership." He nods to Walter then. "Walter has told me very little of what has happened with you, he seems to have given you his loyalty, which surprises me a bit, but there are no hard feelings over it." He pauses for a moment, glancing to the redbrands behind him, then he turns back to Milene. "Here is what I am offering... You will have a crew of my people under your charge, to aid you in whatever you are currently working to achieve. You will have our network of spies and toughs around the area to call upon as needed. You will have access to our equipment," His eyes run over milene again, "and clothing fit for your noble station. What say you?"
Mylene initially takes the offer as simply what she is owed, given her natural inclination to expect servitude from others, but tempers her own self assured nature momentarily. "I say this sounds quite agreeable, magus Glasstaff. Given this arrangement, I will accompany you, but I must first ask for one point of clarification. I am someone who always makes good on what I owe, and I am generous to those who show loyalty to me, and aid me well. Walter likely intuited this, and I am grateful for his service, as I would be those of your men and your network."
"Indeed, all of this sounds most beneficial - your people, your network, proper equipment, and of course, more fitting attire for one such as myself. I must ask what you are envisioning. I would propose you view this as a long term investment, that when I am returned to my proper position of power and authority, you and the Redbrands will have cultivated a most useful friendship and alliance. Is that how you are envisioning things? Or was there a more short-term exchange of services you had in mind? I simply want to be clear on the terms of our understanding, our verbal contract, as it were."
