Good thing about talking is it can be done on the go. "As I said, I do not think details are matter anyhow. Do not know if I had something worth to run from or to in the past either. Call yourself "erased" if you want, I would prefer "re-born". My life is my own. I am not abandoning anyone, just saying even those clearly bound before do not rush to restore those bonds. And they might be right - new life, new sympathies".
"I've got my skills and a good partner if he wants to work together," she gave a smile to Sylcan, "any big city can provide the rest. Including some clues about lost memories. Take what you can, I say. Right now it seems like we can find a bit more about ourselves and we can go from there."
Mylene Durza
"That still doesn't answer my question on the specifics of your experiences. You may be content to see where events take us, I am not. We've underwent something profoundly strange. We should be gathering all the data we can, to understand this, so we can take control of the situation, and not be victims to the whims of fate," Mylene says. "It seems that's your preference, so I'll look elsewhere for more information."
Mylene will try to find Tessa, the last "known" Erased (per the OOC thread on the subject of known vs unknown), and as Tessa is scouting, if she finds the halfling she approaches her. If not, Mylene simply regroups with Walter and splits off, heading down the road to the east towards the fork the branches off to the Old Well, traveling at a brisk pace, as she ensured both she and Walter are not overburdened in their goods. She does briefly pause to change our of the heeled shoes into the thigh high boots, better suited to foot travel, and makes haste with Walter (as I am assuming a Halfling scouting would not be easily found) and makes a mental note to talk to the halfling at a later time.

OOC: If Mylene sees Honor amidst the group, she would likely note Honor has not yet been interviewed, and is very likely one of those like her, an Erased.
Mylene - Honor
"Honor, isn't it? Are you one of us, a victim of memory loss? I'm attempting to exchange information, share our experiences. Where did you awaken? What object, if any, have you encountered that carried a sense of familiarity? And, what vision did you have of your past when you touched said object?"
"I'm not a victim of anything," Honor says, not even gracing Mylene with eye contact. She puts her engagement instead into Higgul, asking about the availability and type of horses in the area.
Mylene tosses her hair and rejoins Walter, having donned the thigh length boots instead of the less practical heeled shoes and ensured they both carry light loads, she says, “Let’s be off to the fork, then, Walter. I’ve learned all I can at present from the others, those I could locate and who were willing to share information, at least. Now to continue on our own course.”
She has them both proceed at a brisk pace for overland travel, not needing to slow for any shorter statured party members, as the two of them head east, on their own, at present.

Sylcan Naïlo: (To Vilana)
Listening to the conversation while walking, Sylcan thought to himself, "Reborn - that's much better than erased." As Mylene walked away, Sylcan shrugged and said to Vilana, "I've got nothing holding me back from working with you - not memories, friends, or fate." Giving another big grin, "I've been doing a lot of those lately", he continued. "Very well then. It looks like you've decided on finding out about ourselves as a first priority, so we shall."
(Just let me know if you need another check of any sort at any point. Latrius would spend most of his time scouting, so not really going to interact too much until we take a rest or find something.)

OOC: Correct, and Mylene and Walter are just traveling at a steady pace, to the east from town, no real scouting or stealth, just full overland travel speed, no stealth/scouting, so a different paradigm.
Moving further into darkness, though your eyes are easily able to pierce the dark, you find a broken down doorway, some ancient defensive fallback area by your guess. Passing through the opening, you find a hallway with arrow slits on either side, though nothing moves behind those slits now. One of the pulls is from behind those slits, to your left, while the other is from further ahead. Seeing no way into the area behind the arrow slits, you continue forward, passing another broken and battered doorway. This next room is a bit larger, filled with cobwebs and rubble, only rodents having been here in a good long time. An opening leads back behind both arrow slits, while a rotted door hangs off its hinges further ahead. You sense something back in one of the arrow slits, and something else beyond the rotten door. Which do you check out first?
Slowly and carefully, Letolooks behind the arrow slits first, and then tries to find something to pry or poke at the rotted door to stay away from clouds of dust as it likely will collapse to the ground. ((investigation 13, if needed))

Behind the arrow slits you find a small chamber with a skeleton laying on the floor of it. Next to the skeleton is a shortbow, which seems to be as good as the day it was made. There are no arrows with it though, those having rotted away over the years. Behind the rotten door you find more skeletons, one of which wears a set of half-plate armor, made of a shiny silvery metal. Near that skeleton is also a longsword, untarnished and without a speck of rust. The bow, silvery armor, and longsword are the items that have the same feeling as the other items you have found.
"I'm not a victim of anything," Honor says, not even gracing Mylene with eye contact. She puts her engagement instead into Higgul, asking about the availability and type of horses in the area.
Higgul to Honor...
"I only know of two horses around town." Higgul says with a shrug. "The townmaster and his sherrif keep their horses at the Stone Hill Inn, but, other than a donkey out on one of the farms, that's it."
Milene starts to walk quickly down the road the same direction as you guys are traveling. Do you wish to keep pace with her or will you let her and Walter travel ahead of you? She is setting a fast pace, and is clearly not bothering to look for dangers as they travel.
Naivara, after seeing Mylene trying to set pace much faster than what could be considered a good idea, seeing as they still needed to scout out for dangers, goes to catch up with them. "Hey... um," she says, thinking for a moment about the words she wanted to use. "I know you might be a bit eager to find whatever it is you're missing, but it might be a good idea for you to stay with the bulk of the group so there's saftey in numbers, and gives me and Latrius a chance to scout out for potential dangers on the road or in the wilderness..."

Latrius:
As Mylene walks past, she hears a snort from the shadows.
"Maybe you are a noblewoman after all. Only they would be stupid enough to travel the wilderness that carelessly. If she wants to go find an ambush by springing it, Naivara, let her. One less thing for us to watch out for."
A slightly rustle of bushes is all you hear afterwards, Latrius slipping back into the shadows.

“Your concern is noted, Naivara, and I do appreciate it, but Walter and I will manage just fine,” Mylene says, “Unlike you -“ she in part directs this as the direction Latrius slipped off to after his comment “-others among us seemingly have no interest in understanding the nature of this curse or pooling our information on our experiences. That’s their choice. I don’t need this small army of forgetful souls to travel with. We will be fine on our own. I’m sure we will cross paths again. If the others change their mind about being a bit more open, and proactive in sharing information, I still welcome the opportunity.”
Whether she is actually offended by Latrius’ and Honor’s outright refusal to answer her inquiries, or just prefers to travel apart, is unclear, but her tone is civil when speaking to Naivara. She doesn’t slow her steps or take any added caution, and she and Walter continue their brisk pace to the east, separating from the bulk of the group as they do so.
"I mean, I think I understand what you're saying," Naivara says, "but it might just be because... I don't know... they're scared? Maybe? I can't speak for the rest, but I think at least part of myself is scared of what will happen if I remember everything... and... what if we need your help if it turns out the danger comes from behind?"

Mylene Durza - Naivara
”It’s very telling how many do seem to feel like having their personal history ripped away and left naked in the wilds is some kind of a blessing. Being afraid of finding the truth, seeing this violation as a ‘fresh start,’ it makes no sense to me. Something was taken from me, and I am angry. I will reclaim what was mine, and someone will answer for this,” Mylene says.
“As for what they will do if they run into trouble, I suppose that’s their own concern at present. I offered up the opportunity for them to resume their position as my vassals and loyal servants and they soundly rejected the offer. I offered up an exchange of information, complete parity, and they rejected it.
“So sorry, dear Naivara. You’ve been considerably more cooperative than some of the others, darling, but unless you’re ready to declare your loyalty to me as one of my servants, I don’t know that I can help you out right now. I reward those who show me loyalty, but it would seem many of them have no interest in even a mutually beneficial exchange. Perhaps there will be a time when we all can work together again, but it seems the others aren’t ready to embrace resuming their old lives, so now may not be that time. Do take care of yourself, though.”
Mylene almost appears as if she is going to pat the woman on the head, like acknowledgment of a fond pet, but instead simply makes a vague gesture with her hand, shrugs, and continues to split off with Walter, continuing east at a brisk and fearless - or foolhardy - pace.
“Go keep the others safe, if you’re concerned,” Mylene adds. “We can handle ourselves, worry not.” She covers her mouth with the back of her hand and throws her head back in a less than dainty laugh.

Leto picks up the items, discards the chainmail he was wearing, as this and the plate or no less uncomfortable for him, and he cannot carry both, puts the bow over his back, and sheathes the longsword. Thinking to himself as he walks back out towards the light, and flexing his tattooed right hand 'someone, or something, clearly has plans for me... I must get out of here and find this town... Phandalin was it that the guard had said? Though I should be wary.. there are forces in play I do not understand...'

Kierro, seeing several attempts to persuade Mylene to stay with the group fail, moves toward them as they leave.
”Mylene. Walter. We’ve no idea what these woods hold, but yesterday we were attacked by five hobgoblins in an ambush. Five. They mentioned that there were more in these woods, in addition to goblins and anything else we happen to not know about.
The fact is, we’re traveling down the same path, toward that feeling that pulls all of us. Anything that attacks will see you two first. We’ll all reach whatever is pulling us, but it’s safer if we’re all together. That ambush of five hobgoblins didn’t work because we fought together. Your friend Higgul can confirm this, Walter - he was there. We defeated them before they could lay a scratch on us. I’m not sure how dangerous they are normally, would you know, Walter?
I can’t guarantee the same safety if you venture ahead - the same ambush of five hobgoblins would likely result in injuries if not casualties. I can heal, but if you were to die before I reached you I would not be equipped to revive you.
We’ll protect you, as I’m sure you will for us. It’s for your safety, Walter and Mylene, as well as for ours.”
"Here's my counter offer, Kierro. If you can persuade each and every one of the others to provide complete answers to my questions about our shared experience, omitting nothing, just as you did, I will agree to travel and fight alongside them, now," Mylene says. "There, that's reasonable isn't it? Go convey the offer and let me know what they say. You're quite diplomatic."
“If they can’t be trusted with basic questions regarding the shared bizarre curse that we all have in common, I don’t see why I would trust them in travel, or in battle.”
She gives Walter a knowing look, her pink lips curdled into a small smirk. “We’re more than prepared for whatever lies ahead.”
