"Of course I want you around," Honor says to Higgul. "I'd like to think that the people who work with me do so because they really want to, but idea that it's more of a compulsion is... discomfiting."
To Naivara she says, "It does make sense for someone to go with them. Kierro? Mylene has listened to you in the past, and you have the magic to communicate from afar, correct?"
Kierro nods. "Seems like a good idea. I believe we're both heading for Neverwinter, but I'll let you know if anything happens." He smiles as he looks toward Leto and Mylene's ship. "Moral support is always nice."
Looking to the gauntlet members, he adds: "I think we should be alright, but if one or two of you want to tag along just in case then I wouldn't say no to it. The rest will go back on the Ice Floe, and we'll meet back in Neverwinter."

Once Leto returns to his ship, he’ll let the captain know of the new crew (the cultists from the cave), and to have her find places for them. He’ll then have them pull the ship around so that both ships are in the same harbor. He also will send his familiar, over to the other ship, where it will clearly be watching, and greet the others with a caw ‘HALLO!’ ((I’ve recently learned that Ravens can ‘speak’ a bit)), with orders to vanish (but continue watching) if there is any threat ((so we can keep the threads all here)). He’s then willing to speak with any of the others about their plans, and wants to wait till the next morning before setting sail, on the assumption that they will feel another pull. The decision of how to proceed (if they’ll still need the ship), can happen then.
((some family health stress has happened, so while I’m still checking in regularly, and will respond when possible, I’ll likely not be quite as creative in my posts for a bit.))
(OOC: just wanted to put an update in here. I am working some things out as far as inactive players, as well as other things. I have nt forgotten this group, nor am I stopping this game. Just be patient for a bit as I work out some DM things and we'll be back going shortly.)
Just to get an idea, both ships are going directly back to Neverwinter then? Are you leaving now, late afternoon? Ships can sail through the night, no problem, so no reason not to head out, but wanted to make sure.
Kierro, none of the order members will go to that ship. They know a green dragon is likely to be there and they will not put themself into that sort of environment. You can attempt to persuade some to go, and have both expertise and advantage on doing so, the DC is 25 though.
The two groups move out, the ships setting sail immediately for Neverwinter. The sailing is fairly easy-going, ship crews working well.
As the next day dawns the dragonlords all sense another pull. This one is far to the North, but seems to be directly north, not back towards land. After discussing with your captain you learn that the Ice Floe can travel North, but the other ship is not suited for such travel. Do you still make for Neverwinter, to resupply Ice Floe if nothing else?
Current weather is cloudy with temps around 70 and wind around 7 mph.

Did we elect not to check out the lighthouse at all? Just want to make sure we're not forgetting about that, whatever we decide. I figure go to Neverwinter, report on the lighthouse can be delivered, and possibly a different boat for the other group.
Kierro would support a resupply as well, in addition to finding a different boat for Mylene/Leto's crew.
(Most of the group was against going to the lighthouse iirc, I think the consensus was going to the harbormaster and telling him what Mylene and Leto's group found. Another good reason to stop in Neverwinter.)
((Leto is good for resupply any time as well. Will we need a second ship? Some of his crew just wanted to get to shore, they are free to go. Leto (and Mylene? Others?) could start looking for another ship if needed for the longer voyage north. I’ll also want some cold weather gear for the crew.))
You get back to Neverwinter without any difficulty.
Upon reaching the docks the captain of the Ice Flow is taken away by the harbor master, the ship's owner and the x-captin also present. Resupply of the ship will have to wait until the matter of the crew's mutany is decided upon by the ship's owner, with the aid of the justice system in Neverwinter. The order members head back to the Halls of Justice to discuss and report in. Higgul is still with you, as is the x-redbrands and dragon cultists.
The other ship also arrives at the same time, and the various occupants of the ship disembarking. Morgan is the only member from the abby that wishes to continue on from that crew. The dragon cultists are with you still, as are the hobgoblins and x-redbrands.
Both groups end up together again. You need to decide what to do next. Do you wait for the Ice Floe to be ready, find another ship that can travel the icey sea of the north, or do you do something else? Of note, you can all fit on the Ice Floe, and the Ice Floe is probably the biggest ship that can head North. If you pick other ship(s) then you wouldn't all be able to fit on one ship.
"I'd say the Ice Floe is our best bet for getting north." Kierro says."And for that, we'd have to have the captain back. Perhaps there's a way we can come to her defense, or at least help her get through the system faster."
"Call me crazy," Naivara says, "but I think at least one of us needs to go with them. If only to keep an eye on them."

Kierro, Naivara, and Vale will join Mylene and Leto on their ship back to Neverwinter, and the gauntlet members will all return on the ice floe.
(Can hop into Mylene/Leto PM if added to it.)

Tessa knowing the need to have supplies for a safe voyage, votes for a stop in port to resupply.
