Raithe rolls around the corner trying to hide (stealth: 17) before drawing her bow, aiming, and firing at the goblin.

Attack: 24 Damage: 11 plus sneak attack: 10

Raithe ducks back behind the wall. Leaving the goblins line of sight for a brief moment. But this brief moment caused the opening Raithe was waiting for. There’s a sharp TWANG from Raithes bow as soon as the goblin pokes his head out trying to find the elven intruder. The goblin drops to the ground as the arrow imbeds itself in an eye socket.

(You all will have a round of actions to take before more show up. Let me know if you would like to keep the same init order or would like to roll to try and get a different order)

Cadence walks back a few steps until she can see the rest of the group. She smiles a mischievous smile and winks at them. She uses a quick Prestidigitation to sluice the blood from her elven blade so it's nice and clean.

(Same Initiative is fine with me.)

Pawing a little at the fabric, wolfnova would then smoosh herself down into the curtain to try to hide for an attempt at a surprise attack.

Raithe moves a bit to the south, closer to the source of the sound. She finds a place to conceal herself around the corner, but not before whispering that the group should prepare to strike at a distracted target in the kitchen.

She casts minor illusion to create the sound, 30 feet away, of footsteps running out the front door of the castle. She readies to attack from hiding.

Mismatched eyes peek from the pile, darting side to side. They were looking to confirm all ‘her people’ were present. Velda? Raithe? Cadence? Nova was ready to pounce anything threatening her friends,. Her pack of siblings were ready to help them too.

After waiting and watching for several tense seconds(which feels likes several days. Sorry) nothing emerges from the door.

Raithe will quietly move back down the hall, readying to attack still, as quietly as she can. 

Cadence doesn't ready an action. If nothing imminent happens, she plans to crouch next to a bed and wait for the others to walk into her room. Her weapons are out.

The moment you crouch down behind the bed a hobgoblin exits the door north of you and notices his companion dead on the ground. He then walks into the room where you are ‘hiding’ (Cadence, make a stealth check dc: 9; 12)

Velda would swiftly move in to pin the hobgoblin, her sword to his throat: “No one else needs to die here. Be smart and stay quiet now!”

Cadence may not have been intending to "hide"...but...as with everything in her life, the universe always seemed to work out a certain way. Just by crouching next to the bed here, the bugbears didn't notice her as she crouched, and remained still. Typical universe doing its thing. Nothing terribly unusual to her. 

Velda please roll athletics to “pin” the bugbear to the wall. Dc: 13 and intimidation (with advantage of you succeed on the grapple.)

Velda puts her shoulder into it, helped by the sudden appearance of Nova at her side, tangling up the bugbear: 23

WIth the bugbear pinned, she grunts her offer through clenched teeth, her tusks a mere inch from his face: 19

The hobgoblin looks a bit overwhelmed at having been accosted by a wolf and half-orc simultaneously. He gulps noticeably and begins alternating looking between the wolf and Velda. (Out of initiative... for now. What’s next?)

Cadence steps forward and in a whispering voice says to the hobgoblin, "Hush your voice or death will be your choice. Lead us to the spider...quietly insider."
