Velda grunts from the back: "Didn't wanna pay for a horse for a day when it won't even take us an hour to make the deliveries."

Nova caught herself watching Velda for a moment until Fionn spoke up with a logical question. "Well don't everyone help at once..." Her eyes would dart side to side before trotting up to the front to see if she could pull/push from there to try to help and perhaps be able to steer or direct the wagon after Cadence. Which may not be the straightest of lines... Borris would eventually heard Nova to lead down the straighter and more efficient path Cadence was weaving.
Velda is glad they arrived. She wipes some sweat off her brow, before looking over at Nova and Boris. There was an example of an outsider who did everything possible to fit in, meanwhile she was here, just deciding to push a waggon for a mile, because she didn't feel like talking... she still had a lot to work on, Yagga had been right about that. Thinking about Yagga, Thokk and Yameera she quickly had to turn around and wipe a tear from her eye.

As you collective make your way from the barn where the wagon is kept, past the Stonehill Inn, you get a few strange looks as people stop to watch Velda pushing a fully laden wagon through the town square to Barthen’s Provisions.
Cadence, from inside the store you hear a voice, “Come on in! We’re open!”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nova looked pretty satisfied with her attempts to assist, regardless of what little help she may have provided. She'd be guilty of looking around for some praise, her eyes catching Velda turn away before she'd start patting Borris to give him his praise for guiding her. The druid would wait for Cadence or Fionn to lead the way inside, staying back with Velda and the cart.
Nova would crouch down to whisper something to Borris. She'd send him over to Velda. Borris would brush up against Velda's side and try nuzzling into her hand if it was within reach, if not, he'd try for her elbow.
Cadence curtsies to Fionn, then walks into the store. She glances around the store curiously for a few moments, then says, "Hello there, we have gear for you, if you care. It's in a wagon on the street. Someone is pushing it with her feet."

Walking inside Barthen’s Provisions, you see what amounts to the towns general store and see behind a counter, near the back of the building, a lean balding man seemingly near his late fifties with what’s left of his hair turning grey. He addresses you as you enter the shop, “Curious way of speaking there miss. Where is this gear from? I’ve been expecting a shipment of sorts for an acquaintance of mine. Perhaps that’s what your ... delivering?” He says the last sentence with a small gesture towards Fionn then continues, “As far as a recovery, I can take a look at it but depending on what it is I don’t know how much I can offer you for it.”
He then gives a sharp whistle and two young boys come out of a backroom. Turning to them he says, “Come on, you two have a wagon ta unload. And it was pushed here apparently.” He says with a small chuckle. The two boys then head outside and begin unloading the wagon of everything not marked with the lion and shield symbol.
“Ah, I see. Well, who were you delivering these other crates and supplies for?” He asks gesturing to the ones his employees are busily unloading and putting in a back room. “I can’t take those ones with the lion on them. They are probably belonging to the lionshield coster on ta other side of town square. And if you’re pushing them over in the wagon. It would be a good deal easier than with it fully loaded.” He gives a hearty laugh. And looks to Fionn for his answer and then to Cadence who is meandering around the store in no definable pattern looking at things as she pleases.
“If you’re in a hurry to get some where I can see that these goods get over to the lionshield coster.” The proprietor offers. “Who is it you’re rescuing and from what are you rescuing them?”
“I was expecting him and a dwarf named Gundren. I suppose I owe you payment for delivering these goods then.” He goes behind the counter. Riddles around for a few moments and returns with 5 pouches (10gp) per pouch. “I was told they would be coming back with a group of five and to have this ready for ‘em.”
much obliged sir, we seem to be rescuing one of our companions from these red brand fellows. anything you can tell us about them? (all trace of Fionns usual joviality seems to have vanished)
Velda is surprised by Borris, and scratches him behind the ears, before turning to look over at Nova, and just bowing her head in thanks. Then, she provides a hand with the unloading, eager to get their rescue of Gert under way. She couldn't help but feel their time slipping away, and part of her felt very guilty for not pushing for a rescue sooner.

When Cadence reaches the store, she'll rap on the door, in three different places, with a small pattern, then back away and wait.
