Darting up the stone steps after the retreating goblins you cut down the goblin with the bow closest to the stairs with an almost effortless swing of your sword. With the party’s attention on the retreating goblins, Hugz looks around for a place to hide and seeing nothing decides to stay in the passage out of sight of his fellow goblins.

Cadence quickly follows Velda up the steps striking down the other goblin closest to the stairs as green fire shoots from her blade to the goblin behind him. He lets out a small panicked scream as he quickly pats out the green flames. Although he wasn’t able to do so fast enough, as you see blisters forming where the flame had been.

Unable to make it up the stairs after your companions you make your way over to the north wall of the cave and see the unarmed goblin that’s attempting to get away. As you direct another bonfire towards the unsuspecting goblin you are pleased to see that yet again these miserable creatures seem to be unable to avoid your attacks.

The remaining goblin looks absolutely terrified at the onslaught and ferocity of your combined assault. You also notice in the far corner of the cave a human male that appears to be curled up in the fetal position. Sadly you don’t see any sign of Yeemik.

Well, the terrified goblin did not put his weapon down, did he? Al least Gert did not see him doing that. The elf shoots remaining visible foe (the one who "only has sword"):

The goblins attention being completely focused on the Half-orc and Elf that just came charging up the stairs it hardly even noticed the bolt piercing its side as it tumbles off the escarpment and tumbles the ten feet down to the floor below.

Yeemik seeing this hardy band of hard-hitting adventures quickly decimating his troops realizes that he has only one option left. Running over to the downed human picks him up holds his blade to his throat and says “You let me leave here alive. Or I’ll kill this human”

Yeemik sees your bolt coming towards him and moves the human into its path as he then falls motionless to the cave floor. This movement left him unprepared for the blast of radiant light you sent toward him. He looks really hurt but he’s still standing.

Velda it’s your turn!

Velda grimaces at the prospect of the hostage potentially having been killed, but since she wasn't a healer, it wasn't her most immediate concern. She leaps over the human, and brings her sword down onto the last hostile goblin. SHe takes care to strike him with the side of the blade, hoping to knock the goblin out for further questioning later.

7 for 12 damage.

Nova will cautiously make her way up the steps with the others, ensuring all the threats were taken care of before she’d notice the downed human. At that point, Nova will pick up the pace skidding to a stop. Her mismatched eyes will dart as she’d make an assessment.

Medicine: 20 if you want it.

Regardless, Nova would haul out her med kit. Should she be able too, she’d begin treatment.

Yeemik easily sidesteps your blow Velda as it braces itself for the full onslaught of the rest of the party.

Following immediately behind Cadence Fionn goes into a slide casting Spare the Dying as soon as any part of him touches the human

Since I’m unsure what cadence would do with yeemik. He’s either definitely dead or unconscious. Fionn you take 1 damage from your baseball slide. The cave is now clear of goblins, except for Hugz of course. The human is stable and unconscious and will be for 2 hours. Nova, may use her medicine roll in conjunction with her healers kit to wake him earlier if you would wish. And you’re all level 2!

Gert looked around for any hidden (or opened) stuff - doors, treasure chests, traps - anything will do.

Your visual inspection of the room reveals little to you. Though you do notice a pouch on Yeemik. Moving closer to open and inspect the contents you find 3 gold teeth and 15 silver. You figure each tooth will get you at least 1 gold each. Assuming you can find someone that will purchase teeth from you ...

Gertenor allowed his reasonable need to fight his unreasonable (if very active) disgust over that important decision. "Need" won, and teeth went to the "for sale" pouch.

If you’re ok with it, having seen velda using the side of her blade, cadence would attempt to subdue rather than kill. 

That’s why I wanted to check. Yeemik is unconscious for 2 hours. 

Velda, still very focussed, silently searches the different caves, in particular any crates or other likely storage containers. Watching her, you notice that she seems almost tenser now than during the fight, and small beads of sweat have formed on her forehead. She's particularly looking for any weapons and documents or plans.

Giving a nod to Fion for his dramatic touch, Nova will carry on complete her assessment on the human, bandaging him up as she did so. Gently, with Fion’s help, she’d sit the man up. Should he wake, she’d offer him a drink from her waterskin. If Borris would notice the mans eyes fluttering awake, he’d bound over to give him a sloppy lick or three on the side of the face before prancing back to follow the suspicious snooping Velda. He’d poke his nose where she was looking, wondering what she was looking for. Occasionally he’ll look to her expectantly with his dopey crossed eyes, excitable to help if she’d let him.
