(Considering that one turn has passed, and most characters have 30 ft of movement and the distance is 50 feet to the door, we are probably 20 feet at the start of this round, at the very least. By the order of who is going down the hall, Abzerilan is probably 30 feet from the door.)
Abzerilan moves up to the open door and sees Thorin fighting a zombie. He takes out a javelin and throws it at the zombie.

Both of Thorin's attacks are able to hit their target this time, dealing significant damage to the Zombie's already withered body. Abzerilan's javelin is also able to pierce the Zombie. Will the hit would faze a living man, the Zombie continues to fight.

Thorin growls at the zombie, annoyed it hasn't gone down already, but not dissuaded from fighting it, he comes down hard on the zombie's clavicle with his hand axe and then strikes it across the jaw with his elbow as he rips the axe out.
If Grix has line of sight, he puts his arm out palm facing the zombie and allows the power of the shadow realm to coalesce, before releasing Eldritch Blast at the Zombie, adding Repelling Blast to push the Zombie back 10ft if it hits
Eldritch Blast Attack: 17 Damage: 10 - oops, damage should be 7 as there is no modifier to be added - sorry
Thorin's first attack strikes deftly. It shatters the frail clavicle and tears through the peeling flesh of the Zombie. (Con save 21) The atack does not however drop the Zombie. His second attack will also hit the undead. (Con save 6)
Grixeor blasts the corpse for good measure. The Zombie is now dead.
Inside the room, you can see impressions in the walls that once acted as the shelves when this area was used as the Vaults so many years ago. Dust and grime have made permanent homes there now. The goop trail continues down the hallway before it comes to another crossroads, where you can go left or right. You can also go back to the first crossroad and go the other way if you wish, but keep in mind the goop trail is what you were sent to follow.

"Haha that was good to warm up the joints a bit," Thorin laughs as he stretches, then checks himself over after taking a few hits. "Maybe we should come up with a plan fer movin' forward? I can see in the dark, but I know some of ya have said otherwise. An' if I'm scoutin' ahead, do ya want me ta whistle like that again, come back for ya or does someone have another idea?"
Once we've sorted that out, Thorin will prepare to follow the goop to the next crossroads and pick up the trail from there as soon as everyone is ready.
"Looks like you took a few licks 'fore we got here." Abzerilan says as he pulls his javelin out of the zombie, "Might as well go together. Will do us no good if we're picked off one at a time."
Grix nods "I agree...let's just stay together" then adds "Did anyone have a look to see if that room contained anything of interest? Once we are done, we should follow the trail of slime...just be wary of what may come at us from behind as well as the front"
OOC: Someone with a better Investigation than Grix might want to quickly check it out.....and then if all are in agreement the party should continue to follow the trail, being aware of any other alcoves or rooms that might contain more undead.....

"Very well then," Thorin nods as the group decides to stay together, "Though I'll stay at the front an' keep the light at me back so as not mess with the dark vision." He taps the side of his head as he says this. Thorin then takes a swig, then walks back into the hallway to watch down the trail of goop while the others search the room.
Thorin waits for the group at that point so as not to get too far away, after all, they did say to stay together. He crouches down against the wall to hide and listen silently while he waits (Stealth: 11 and Perception: 6).
The trail continues for about another 20 feet, where the halls turn to the left. A soft hum can be heard up ahead, and a faint light shines on the wall at the end.

Nothing of great value can be found in the room. There are small rock chips, the tattered rags the zombie wore, and lots of dust.
