Once again dripping from head to toe as she emerges once again from the pool, Fallan barely has time to wipe her eyes with the back of her hand holding the skull of the drowned victim when the newest beast fills her vision. Once again, the spooked halfling reacts, rather than thinking. And once again, from out of nowhere, a glowing dagger appears in her empty right hand, and she hurls it at the tusked and stapled demonic being that sent Belle flying. "Hey, you gotta do more than that to take us ALL out, fatso!"

“Thanks Gwen! I will admit I’m a bit rusty and this is quite embarrassing!”
Despite her ignited enthusiasm, Bells attack fails to pierce the creatures flesh, in fact, her rapier bends and she pulls it back just before it would snap. The fiendish creature smiles a knowing smile, though bell may not fear it, it clearly could smell the fear from others, and it also, seemed to know of Bells flash. Rose manages to land a solid hit but isn't sure if its as effective as it seemed. Gwen lacing her words with magic, attempts to make the creature flee but instead, it stands its ground, none-the-worse for wear. Fallan throwing a dagger at the beast, and the dagger sinking deep into its flesh before vanishing. The fiend however doesn't even let out the slightest sound of pain, as if such things were normal for it. Though by looking at its many scars and pockmarcks...
Root however, finally able to strike in melee, lands two piercing blows to the zombie, and it falls, limply to the floor.
However, no sooner than it fell, it rose again, but by now Root was prepared for it, and he unleashed a final strike, knocking it back down, at-least for now. However that did give room for Z5 to press forward, clambering over its fallen allies, and slamming a closed fist towards his face. The ghouls shocked as the axe doesn't aim for them this turn they peek around the corner and see that some of the host of food that was there earlier wasn't, though they heard the sounds of that fiend, and they began to flee away from the area, Root just barely able to see them go.
The fiends eyes however seem locked to Fallan now, as she is clearly the one most terrified. And as Bells rapier effectively misses, the cleaver is passively swing in her direction as the creature could see no path to its victim by land, it jumped into the water and with fury burning in its eyes had more than enough mobility to reach her. Its head just barely above the now steaming water as it brought both its cleaver and its meathook to bear on the frightened halfling.
Atleast one of the attacks connecting, barring some halfling luck of some sort, and if any attack connects, she feels part of her soul being torn out and the creature seems ever so slightly haler than it had been a moment before. Use me... give into me.... I will save you, for a price... Fallan hears in her head once more.

"SHUT UP! I am NOT prepared to pay ANY price for what was an accident!" shouts Fallan, though her words make little sense to any of her battle mates that can hear them. As she bellows these confusing words, once again, her hand is filled with a glowing shortsword, as her other hand continues to grip the wet skull from the bottom of the pool. Although the heat put off by the beast is quickly drying out both the waterlogged skull and Fallan's leathers, the steam rising from them adding to the unnatural atmosphere she finds herself in. Seeing Bell attacking the fiend, she deftly waited for the best possible opportunity and then lunged in to strike with the sword, while waving the skull as a counterbalance.
BA = Psychic Blade (summoning); Attack = Sneak Attack
Root will attack z5 with his claws and as his bonus action he will stomp the head of Z4 just to be sure it’s dead. Since he’s aware they are zombies he doesn’t want to be hindered.
Taking the first hit Root will use his dragon claws to Strike at Z5 then, to make sure Z4 is dead he will stomp on its head!
Gwen turned to face the Zombies that seemed to keep coming from no where, the seemingly endless stream of them finally getting on her nerves. She thrusts her rapier at the things head hoping to keep it down for good.
Rose meanwhile was not appreciating being ignored by the fiend, following on its heals to give it another hit with her hammer while she mentally commanded her axe to move closer. However seeing that one of the zombies was still in the way she had it swing at the thing as it approached. Finally Rose made sure to refresh Selûnes blessing for those who needed it.
As bell thrusts into the beast for ignoring her, she finds the tip just barely manages to pierce flesh, though once she found purchase, she pushes hard, the blade sinking deeper and dealing a decent amount of damage. However on the followup thrust, Bell had apparently lost enough balance to miss the creature entirely. Its hate-filled eyes finally returning to bell as her rapier retreated.
Fallans sword, sinking in almost like a knife through butter compared to Bells attempt, though the overall force was less atleast initially, until she twisted the blade within and black-blood began pouring out into the water.
Root's finger glances off the armor but still manages to scratch at the zombies face, and the moment Z4 began to stir, he stomped down hard on its head, denting the helmet in, and knocking it back down a bit more permanently. Gwn see's that the creature likely isn't to rise anymore and instead thrusts out at Z5! Rose battering at the fiend, and once again, it seemed less-than-effective, though it still hurt the beast. The axe flying in and finishing off Z5... and based on the damage, it wasn't likely to rise again.
A weak refreshing of the aura pulse likely due to Rose's frustration.
The fiend seemed to glow with heat from within, sending bubbles rising and steam exiting the lake. The creatures eyes seem to glow iwht fire as it howls in pain, though not likely loud enough to draw anything else's attention, and its eyes lock with the little halfling once more, both because it smelled her fear, and the sudden berserkers fury it swung at Bell who had missed so poorly earlier, before its driving attention fell on Fallan, who had hurt it the worst, and smelled of fear baked in gym socks for years, only to be fermented for a century. The creature moved even faster than before as an onslaught of four attacks are directed at the halfling, the fiend apparently going berserk from suffering so much damage.
If any attacks hit, the fiend seems to grow stronger.
Party is up, all Zombies are dead, the ghouls have fled, The 'Fiend' seems to be going berserk, and has its eyes set on Fallan, for now. The only remaining enemy is the fiend. No movement has occored.

Wet already, and seeing that the fiend and the water seem to be in disagreement as to how much heat the fiend can handle at once, Fallan decides to further her underwater experiences again. She drops the skull - since using that hand/arm for much exacerbates the pain in her side. Ducking below the surface of the water, she does her best to circle around the fiend and strike at it with her psychic shortsword when it least expects it. Although her cheeks may be puffed out while holding her breath, she still silently screams at the fiend: "Begone, you foul thing! You are not meant for this world and will not harm my friends!" After striking with the sword, she will do her best to disengage by moving our further into the pool - hopefully to where the depth is greater than the fiend's height.
Attack with Psychic Blade/ Sneak Attack due to proximity of Gwen and Bell / Disengage via Cunning Action as BA
Bell, in a stunning display of acrobatic prowess, not only dodges the attack, but sinks her rapier deep into the giends upper body, though that initial damage seemed to do nothing as he had torn away more parts of Fallans soul to restore himself though the final burst of radiant energy seemed to push him back down, as the radiant damage left an internal scorch mark.
With a flurry of strikes, Root hits out, twisting his palm to smack against the creature flatly where he assumed a nerve was, and he was right, the fiend only managing to parry the final kick, but it seemed to be getting weaker.
Despite all the distraction in the world, Fallan manages to miss underwater, as the blade gets stuck in her hair momentarily, causing her to undershoot her target power and not even scratch the fiends hide.
Rose, still frustrated at being ignored, sends the axe, and herself at the thing with ferocious force! though sadly she herself misses, but the axe sinks deep into the flesh where Bell had pierced its hide. Though despite not being highly intelligent, the creature continues to resist Gwens spells.
The fiend was breathing hot, ragged air by this point, but Bell had finally gotten its attention as it turned to face her, though weak, the creature clearly was still enraged. And in a cleaver hook chain, it unleashed its own flurry of blows against the Paladin...
And barring some divine intervention, atleast two attacks land, and the creature seems to partially recover...
Party is up, its clear to you all by now that the creature heals when it hits with its weapons, though luckily its low and only when it hits.
Root will continue to unleash attacks spending his last Ki point to flurry of blows. Again the fiend can’t use reactions.
Root will throw a high kick to the fiends head, then Root will throw a punch but it just bounces of the flesh of the fiend. Giving his all Root will high jump into a knee hitting the fiend in the head.
While not supported by any innate magic, Bell seems more invigorated and excited with each exchange of blows. After taking a hit from the cleaver, her eyes ignite with bloodlust. As the fiend swings the hook around at her, rather than block with her shield or dodge with her agility, Bell growls viciously and jerks her head forwards, clashing her horns against the weapon. The hook snaps in half against the curled bone, and the Satyr bares her teeth at the fiend.
Shaking off the hits, Bellerain darts in once again, while Yue who I totally didn't forget about for the last three rounds leaps into the fold, jumping in to clamp his jaws down on the creature wherever the wolf can manage (pack tactics).
Attack: 25 Damage: 5 Psychic damage from 1st shortsword
6 Sneak Attack Damage
Frustrated by the difficulty of attacking while underwater, and feeling the pain in her side with every stroke, Fallan decides to give up on the submarine approach. Water dripping from her hair (which she mentally notes that she will have to check to ensure she didn't lop off any with that last sword attack - leaving her coiffure lop-sided), she rises from the pool slowly, with an angry look on her face, as if she were some vicious mercenary about to prove she was the fiend's worst nightmare. With a flick of her left wrist - ignoring any twinge of pain from the muscles in her side, she calls forth a second glowing shortsword and advances to attack the ugly mass of flesh with the already existing sword. "Without your hook, you seem to be out-weaponed, outnumbered, and out of luck. Die!" she lowers the tone of her voice and while not the same kind of growl as Bell, it is the closest effect she can muster.

Rose doesn't react to her miss, more than satisfied with the axe making contact. Maintaining her focus Rose continues to take swings at the fiend, confident that the group had the fiend on the ropes. Gwen however was getting frustrated that the thing kept resisting her spells but, with limited spells left available to her and the rest of the cavern yet unexplored she decides to stay her course for now praying for a success.
Despite healing itself with its fiendish powers the flurry of attacks, kicks, punches, slices, and such batter the fiend relentlessly and finally, Gwen gets a shot in, as the creature finally is unable to resist it, likely thanks to the beating it was receiving. And the fiend grows oddly still before sinking down into the water like an automaton that ran out of energy, but even the least perceptive could tell that this thing was flesh and blood, as much as any fiend or devil was. And slowly it sank till its fat held it buoyant.
With the fight over, the adrenaline in everyone's veins seems to slow, and all goes back to normal, outside of any breath-catching. A small pile of corpses now litters the doorway, and it was only then that Bell realized that in her earlier fighting she had cut enough of her chest armor where the plate wasn't at, to expose a portion of her chest that was enough that even the most daring wouldn't walk around town with, though luckily for bell, there was only a single male in the group. While it did nothing to lower the efficacy of the armor, it may increase Bells bashfulness, depending on how they would personally feel about such a situation.
Regardless, calm had returned to the party and combat was over. What does the group do?
“Well, that was interesting if you knew Fiends and undead where here a heads up could have been nice. With you arm broke did you want to take a short breather? What do you think Rose or do you want to keep going?” Winded, root has his hands on his hip slowly walking to Rose.

Bell prods the fiend’s body a few times with her rapier before sheathing it, and then does a quick self inspection to ensure her adrenaline didn’t mask any injuries she may have.
“Oh shit, my tit’s out,” Bell declares to herself as she calmly unfurls her winter cloak and pulls her arms through it. She grumbles at the comparatively restricting attire, and then walks over to where she’d dropped the wand to inspect it further, though she keeps an ear to the other’s conversation.
Gwen somewhat glowers at Root and says We knew there were undead.. we didn't know there were demons or abyssals. And I'm fairly sure one of us mentioned as much. Berating us right after a fight insn't good for cohesion you know? Just be glad we all survived almost none-the-worse for wear.. except Rose's arm... she says not really angry but rather trying to get a point across. Sighing heavily as she suddenly felt drained, having used most of her power in that fight alone. She walked to a nearby wall, and slumped down to sit. So Rose, shall we press on, or attempt to recuperate? though it was clear that Gwen was suppressing a weak laugh at Bells reaction. Even adding a You should let poor Root see, he's a monk, and if what I've heard is true...
Meanwhile, Bell takes a harder look at the wand, and as she scans over it, she see's some faded letters on it and inspiration springs to mind... as she realized then as she felt the pulse of magic within it that it must be a want of [Tooltip Not Found]. She had, one day, when fighting was slow, and she had found herself in some library like place or another that she had read about them, knowing about its charges, how they work, and that while overall weak, it was an assured hit - a valuable find indeed.
