Root remains unconscious, embraced by the drow like a deadly lover. Bell teleporting behind the man and making a very powerful threat as the wand-tip presses against his neck. It was clear he wasn't very happy with the situation, but there was another factor at play that Rose was slowly figuring out. Pistéveis pragmatiká óti tha petháno tóso éfkola? and at Rose's continuation, he half-laughed, with a wavering grin. Den boroúme na ta paratísoume, Iblith. Aftí eínai i mýisí mas. Epitynchánoume, í pethaínoume. Eán apotýchoume allá zoúme, tha gínoume énas apó tous «ektimiménous» odigoús. and with that, Rose knew this was 'do-or-die' for them.
The drow made no move to harm Root, as apparently the more survivors the better, but he still held close enough to be a danger, when he smirked at the moon-halfling as he began to lift off of the ground, holding onto root as he drops his sword to better grip the heavy dragonborn, rising a full twenty feet into the air. (AO available by Bell, but will have to be the wand or unarmed strike)
The other drow watch as their ally begins to rise, trying to take the hostage with him.
Meanwhile, the other five drow pick their targets. The two nearest Rose aim at her once more, trying to get her to go down along with her dragonborn friend. One of them shakes off the effects of her sanctuary, while the other is forced to shoot at Bell instead. Both fail to strike their targets, but the one aimed at Bell nearly hits her before it's deflected by her new shield.
The drow seem to have ignored Fallan's mental commentary, if only because they couldn't understand her common, other than 'sunlight' which they chalked up to her referring to the driftglobe. Taking aim at the halfling that seemed to be doing nothing but standing there as far as they could tell, and two bolts sail at Fallan.
One ends up stuck in her armor loups but doesn't hit the halfling, while the other is so perfectly placed, that the venom knocks the halfling out before she realizes she's already hit the floor.
Dýo káto, dýo na fýgoume. one drow shouts to the others.
With only Rose and Bell left, the drow on the ridge tries to take out the magical moonling But is once again foiled. His crossbow aiming at Bell instead. However, once more, she brings her shield to bear.
Fallan had, however managed to toss one of her blades when the bolts began to fly, managed to sink her blade deeply into the chest of one, doing moderate damage.
For Rose:
You really think I'd die that easily?
We can't afford to give up, Iblith. This is our initiation. We succeed, or we die. If we fail, but live, we get to become one of the "esteemed" Drider. There is no other way.
Two down, two to go.
Sitrep:
Fallan has fallen unconscious with Root. Root is being dragged into the air by the drow. Bell has an AO against him. Bell still has a readied action, she can choose to 'expend' before the start of her turn so Bells next post may take '2' actions.
Rose's sanctuary has kept her very safe, and Bells shield is working well. Nothing has moved aside from vertically.
Bell attempts to grapple the raising Drow as he floats up. "Wait! Okay! I won't fight! Just let Root go! He was about to return to his home. We'll comply just let him free. Take me!"She turns to Rose. "Tell them to let Root go!"
Additionally, Bell spends 5 pts of her lay-on-hands to Neutralize the poison affecting Root.
Rose mentally cursed the entire situation. Rose had no desire to just surrender, especially given rumors she had heard about drow sacrificing goodly clerics to their vile Spider Queen. Regardless if true or not she didn't plan on finding out. She looked around thinking of anything she could do to get them out of this. When Belle shouted Rose turned to see Root starting to wake up. Rose then got the idea to try everything she could to keep her allies awake, hoping the poison the drow used functioned similar to her own sleeping spell. Rose quickly cast Shield of Faith on herself to give her a little extra protection before running towards Fallan, taking an opportunity attacks that came her way. Once by Fallans side she removes the poison dart and desperately tries to shake her fellow halfling awake. Bell don't give up! We can't allow them to take us! Fallan come on wake up dammit!
Feeling the warm touch of Bell, Root awakens with this drow grappling him. The air breeze of being lifted 20ft from the ground Root will play possum. Still keeping his eye close, he focuses his Ki into his wounds.

Felix Windfall (Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA,Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiA
Though managing to wake up Root via neutralizing the poison, the required actions of casting the spell cost a moment too soon, and before the drow gets ten feet, Bell slips off back to the ground landing on her hooves.
"Wha? What? Huh? Is it time for breakfast?..."Fallan wakes, but clearly still in a mental fog of sorts, as she looks at Rose, still shaking and cussing at her fellow halfling. Blinking her eyes to clear them, she takes in the sights around her and recalls what's happening. "Oh, yeah, Root. Sure."Looking at Rose, she asks with an almost begging tone: "Do we have a plan? What should we do here?"
She summons the replacement for the psychic blade she had thrown, and tries to remember which one she hit, and directs her most serious stare in that one's direction while paying attention to her own friends dropping out of the sky (even if it was only from a few feet).
A shimmering shield appears on Rose's body, making her ever so slightly harder to hit as she shakes the black hole halfling awake. Bell having reached the ground safely still see's the fierce drow visages surrounding the camp. Root plays possum for now, remaining limp in the drows arms. Fallan re-summons her blades but does nothing else aside from spit a drow with a very slight blood trail coming out of his thigh.
The drow with root continues to rise, having understood too little of what Bell had said, though likely he would have continued rising regardless since it seemed his attempt to gain leverage was super effective. Despite being effectively unarmed after having needed to drop his blade.
He shouts down to Rose, the only one who could understand him Parádosi kai sas ypóschomai sti dýnami ton Lolths, den tha sas skotósoume oúte tha sas pligósoume perissótero Synechíste na antistékeste kai o mónos trópos pou teleiónei eínai odynirá.
the drow was now floating, fourty feet in the air with the unconscious dragonborn. The other drow didn't immediately attack but they picked their targets, and readied their bolts should the party refuse to comply.
For Rose
Surrender and I promise you on Lolths power, we won't kill you or hurt you farther. Continue to resist, and the only way this ends is painfully.
The drow have readied actions. I would post their rolls but that might inadvertently effect decisions so I will hold off for now.
Root will use his acrobatics to escape instead of strength. If possible Root will try to hang on him once/if he escapes. If not then he will use his reaction to sSlow Fall.
Now further in the air Root will spring to life, with his arms above his head. Root will try to break free from the grapple using his martial skills.
Rose says to Fallan but loud enough for Root and Bell to hear as well They want us to surrender, but we'll be taken as slaves or sacrifices most likely...and we are surrounded. I'm not keen on being a slave but dying here isn't an option...When Rose sees Root break free and start falling she holds a spell to heal Root should he fall and hurt himself.
Fallan nods at Rose's analysis of the situation, with her head bobbing even faster at the mention of sacrifices. She begins to hop from foot to foot like an anxious child, or a caged animal, with the glowing blades in her hands making the movements seem even more charged with energy from the concerned halfling. Her eyes dart all around the area, looking for possible hiding places, or dark and covered paths that might lead to better places to attack from, should Rose or Bell "fire the first shot". She certainly was not going to *start* anything when she relies on her friends so much.
Root skillfully relaxes his shoulders just the right way so as to become like a fish in the hand of a novice fisherman, but also latches onto the mans leg with his hands before actually falling, causing the drow to grunt in frustration, both from the escape and the sudden tug of weight on his leg. However, he didn't seem disappointed entirely. Meanwhile, Bell removes her poisoning, leaving Fallan the only one with her head still swimming in venom. Meanwhile Fallan looks for good options. Unfortunately all of them led directly past drow, as the group only had 2 entrances and exits, but she knew there was plenty of forest around her as well as a lake several dashes away, that totally wasn't a swamp, because **** you that's why.
The drow with Root hanging off ascends another 20 feet, putting them at 60 now as he shouts to the others Arnoúntai na ta paratísoun, aplós ta vgázoun éxo, akóma ki an paradothoún. I efkairía tous gia éleos échei teleiósei!
The levitating drow shouts as he starts to reload his own crossbow, though unable to fire this turn. He pointed at the one with the shield, telling them to focus fire on the most heavily armored and second 'largest' of the group. And within an instant, Bell finds herself to be the focus of many bolts. One of the shots flies directly past the head of one of the drows allies but luckily it wasn't too horrible of a failure, unfortunately, all the attacks miss.
Party is up. All attacks missed Bell. Crit fail wasn't super bad. Root/Drow continue to ascend.
For Rose:
They refuse to give up, just take them out, even if they surrender. Their chance for mercy is over!
When the arrows start flying Rose shouts Guess the choice has been made for us! Stay near the light! With that Rose runs up to the nearest Drow and swings her hammer, ending the protection sanctuary had given her. After attacking with her hammer Rose summons a spiritual axe, whose blade is shaped like the cresent moon, near the floating drow. It swings at the drows chest almost immediately upon coming into existence.
Action: Bell casts Bless on Rose, Root, and Herself (to try to keep concentration, sorry Fallan!). You guys can add a d4 to attack rolls and saving throws.
Bell draws her Rapier and braces herself for combat, and casts bless.

Root manages to get up and embrace his new drow lover, making reloading significantly harder (Will now take two turns before each attack) but this turn he seems happy with rising higher into the air (80 feet) for now as hw growls things at ROot that seem to be a mix of frustration and mockery at the dragonborn.
As Rose charges the one drow, she manages to get her spiritual weapon next to the drow before he rises only to miss anyway. A bolt landing in the dirt nearby with his DAO as Rose's own attack misses the one on the ground, in which he tries to smash her face with the butt of the crossbow, but her height is too low and he misses.
Bell blessing the party as Fallan moves a few feet forward to go full on chihuahua at one of the drows shins with her blades, only to execute order 66 as her blade somehow manages to lip from her hands and disappear, before she disengages back to the center where the light is harshest.
Another volley of bolts flies at Bell from various directions. And once more most of the attacks fly by or are otherwise deflected.
Party is up. Fallan lost one of her psychic daggers. Rose has an DAO against one of the drow. Root is now 80 feet in the air.
As Root climbs up, face to face to the drow. He can help but cop a feel “OH you must work work out.” Root chuckles out loud, then the drow begins to smell sulfur as low flames begin to leak out of Roots mouth “How about a kiss!” Root opens his jaw wide unleashing a fire breath onto the drow!
