"My suggestion is that Uri scout the top room. If he is not back quickly," Dench says, "we assume the worse and charge the front door. Perhaps, if the room at the top is empty and he is noisy enough, some of those Sir Gadston saw will be drawn away from the front door. Divided--to a greater extent than we will be--they might more easily fall. If the room at the top is full of fiends, we will at least have that information."
Uri rushes to the top of the tower, peering inside he sees an observatory of sorts. A large domed room with a chair and table sat in front on the telescope's end. Astronomical equipment and odd machines are scattered about the room, and an iron ladder leads below. A singular figure dressed in fine clothing sits at a desk at the far end of the room. Books and papers are scattered around in the dark.

Dench tries to watch Uri at the top of the tower, the door they are closest to, and the out building. "We don't want to snuck up upon," he mutters to himself. He'll investigate the outbuilding without moving closer to it. How recently does it seem to have been used? Are there tracks around it? 7
Uri watches this being flip through a book quietly. There are metal tubes coming up through the floor along the wall ending in strange needle-like mechanisms. Near the ladder, there is a large dark stain on the floor that is probably blood.
Looking over toward the other building, Dench doesn't see any tracks on the ground. He does see a rusty padlock on the door.
"Just one to deal with. Might be good, might not be." Direcris reaches into his pocket and pulls out a clear, round bottle with a large cork stopper. Inside, a thick black smoke swirls and twists. "I hope this will help. The stopper is removed, the smoke escapes and fills the room. If we use it, we will have to be sure of our intentions, since we will be hampered as well. And we will need speed, in case he is able to dissipate the smoke."
"Climbing was a problem for us," Dench says. "Nothing here suggests trying again will be different." He points his chin toward the other building. "The lock is rusty. We might learn more about our situation by exploring." He twists his lips in thought. "Or, Sir Gadston, you saw only the first floor, correct? We could make a try for the second story windows?"
Gadston waits quietly letting everyone try alternatives. he will eventually speak up and say:
"Alright Lads, I'll wait 1 more minute then if there are no other alternatives, I'm going through that door. We know its a fight and might be bad but, if there is no alternative...." his voice trails off.
Dench signs. "Sir Gadston may be right. No other ways of gathering information present themselves." Dench slides his shield from his back. He slings it on his arm and tightens its straps. considers what Lathander would have him do as he stamps his feet again.
Uri flexes is great hairy arms, preparing to bash heads, and skulks next to the door becoming invisible.

Sir Gadston
Gadston draws his sword and readies his shield. He will use Mage Hand to open the door wide and with a grin on his face he will say loudly "Honey, I'm home!"

Sir Gadston
"i will keep watch to make sure that does not happen." Gadston says and he positions himself to stand watch as the others do what they must.

Uri appears next to the others (shadow step) and reports what he has observed.

Sir Gadston
Gadston listens to the group and their plan. "Planning takes some of the fun out of it." he mumbles to no one in particular.
As for Direcris' corked bottle plan Gadston says. "Now that is interesting, fighting blind." he says with a smile.
URI is not so sure “Getting everyone up there undetected and intact seems a tall order, especially given our last attempt at climbing.”

"Perhaps the front door is the only way."

(To reiterate since it was a bit ago, all the windows seem too dirty to see through, but you could attempt to break/open them.)
