Assuming he will need help with these flames Gadston will turn his attention to the battle. He will however hold his action and observe what is going on since his back was turned from the fight.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gadston tears down a curtain and puts out the fire before it spreads any further; there is only minor damage to the bookself but many of the books are likely lost.
DEX Save v Sacred Flame, 10 The shadow disappears with Dench's spell.
Without a shadow to target anymore Uri turns his attention to the vampire, striking him twice.
(Direcris you can roll the damage since he is only resistant, but ranged attacks are at disadvantage if an enemy is within 5 ft. of you. 9, 18 necrotic) Direcris's spell halts the undead's supernatural healing ability and drains some of its life force.
The vampire, spitting out some of the dragonborn's tainted blood will instead try to slash at the wizard. Claw v Direcirs, 11, 9 slashing damage Claw v Direcirs, 18, 5 slashing damage (63 damage, bloody)
A red mist begins to fill the room. Everyone take 9 poison damage.
Gadston tears down a curtain and puts out the fire before it spreads any further; there is only minor damage to the bookself but many of the books are likely lost.
Dench scans the room, trying to perceive the source of the red mist: 14. He starts by looking at the hole in the ceiling that the vampire spawn crawled through earlier. Perhaps something from there? But he watched the entire room.
Direcris again halts the vampire's healing ability with his spell. In addition to the necrotic energy from the spell, the undead also seems to be suffering from the poison.
Dench sees there are tubes at the ceiling above the stained glass window the seem to be releasing the gas. The passage the other vampire took is now blocked by an iron door on the ceiling. (I will need CON Saves to maintain concentration on Banishment from Dench)
The vampire desperately tries to dispatch the wizard whittling him away. Claw v Direcirs, 11, 10 slashing damage Claw v Direcirs, 9, 7 slashing damage (76 damage, bloody)
The red mist persists. Everyone take 9 poison damage.
"Agreed!" Dench says. He hacks and coughs and tries to continue concentrating on keeping the burning skull tucked away: 7.
"I'm sorry my friends," he yells between gagging on the air in the room. He will cast Crusader’s Mantle, moving to catch all his allies within its influence.
Can Dench use what he knows about the arcane (8) to tell if the gas is produced magically or mechanically?
Sire Gadston dispatches the vampire with a burst of flame, and the undead creature turns to a pile of dust on the floor.
(That is correct that your spell would have dropped, no need to wait) Dench's spell drops and the flaming skull reappears in the center of the room. The cleric casts his spell and everyone is imbued with radiant power. (Don't forget to add 1d4 radiant damage to weapon attack damage, 2 for Uri's hit)
Feeling the injuries inflicted by the vampire Direcris magically shores up his fortitude.
With the vampire vanquished Uri turns his attention to the skull. One of his strikes lands on the elusive skull burning with radiant energy.
The skull, finding itself in the middle of the fight, casts fireball centered on itself. (Everyone make a DC 13 DEX Save or take 31 fire damage or half as much on a save, Dench add +3 for cover)
The red mist persists. (Everyone take 4 poison damage) (Don't forget concentration saves)

OOC: No worries, Direcris.
Dench crouches, seeking shelter from the flame: 6 including +3 for cover, 16 including +6 for cover and Sir Gadston's aura. OOC: Steedling, would Dench take full or half damage?
Gagging from the poison, he fails to maintain concentration: 8
"The doors and windows sealed behind us, but how strong are those seals?" Dench wheezes. "It's coming from those pipes in the ceiling above the stained glass window. Can we stuff something in the pipe?"
Uri turns his attention back to the vampire spawn that is feasting upon the blood of Direcris, lunging with his lethally alliterative limbs.
Tiger Uppercut: 19 Damage: 8
Hurricane Kick: 15 Damage: 11
Sumo Headbutt: 27 Damage: 8
(Did I say lethal? I meant lethargic. 3 rolls of 1 out of 3d8...)
Direcris is resistant to necrotic damage and his HP can't be reduced. ((Inured to Undeath))
In the throes of fighting off the vampire spawn, it almost seems as if a voice speaks in Direcris' mind. He then casts Chill Touch.
Attack: 15 Damage: 0 ((Not rolling damage since it's necrotic))
Sir Gadston

Dex Save for Gadston? 20
(Sacred Flame only targets one creature so Gadston is fine)
(( Has the vampire let go of Direcris enough for him to try and breathe acid into its face?))If so, he's going to yell for everyone to stand back and do it. (Dex DC 14 - 7)If not, he'll Chill Touch again to keep the vampire weak. Attack: 15 Damage: 14
((Nevermind. He's doing Chill Touch))
Dench scans the room, trying to perceive the source of the red mist: 14. He starts by looking at the hole in the ceiling that the vampire spawn crawled through earlier. Perhaps something from there? But he watched the entire room.
His Passive Perception is 15? If that helps.

Sir Gadston
Gadston will launch Fire Bolt at the vampire.
Hit: 20
Damage: 7

"Agreed!" Dench says. He hacks and coughs and tries to continue concentrating on keeping the burning skull tucked away: 7.

Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
((Dench, ya got two concentration spells going))
Feeling himself growing dangerously weak, Direcris is forced to work his hand into his component pouch and cast Tenser's Transformation on himself.
Uri will try to finish off the vampire:
Attack: 28 Damage: 17
Attack: 30 Damage: 16
Attack: 12 Damage: 16
The mist seems to affecting his aim, as most of his blows swing wide.
OOC: Dench assumed the 7 would mean a break in concentration, but probably should have waited for Steedling before casting another spell.

Sir Gadston
Dex Save: 15 (Don't forget to add +3 to saving throws due to Gadston's Aura of Protection-as long as you're within 10 ft. of him.)
"We will die if we keep battling both beast and gas. Does anyone have an idea how to get rid of this gas?" Gadston asks.
((Mea culpa, Dench.))
Dex save: 10 (Advantage if the skull is within 5 ft. 11))
Concentration: 11
Direcris takes out his dagger and throws it at the skull. Attack: 26 Damage: 8 piercing.
Attack: 11Damage: 4 radiant. 9 force damage((DM: Know we are within 20 ft. How many are within Gadston's Aura of Protection? And do I have a clear shot with my breath for my second attack?))
