Direcris holds tight to the rope, keeping up with Uri. Once they stop, he takes a quiet breath out and reaches out a hand to feel if they are still close to the buildings.

Sir Gadston
Sir Gadston lets the party pass him and he takes up the flanking position in line. He will look this way and that in hopes to make out any threats before they strike.

The group backs up against the tower, finding the large stained glass window behind them. The sounds of bats stop and is replaced by the quick footfalls rapidly approaching. A gaunt figure in scholars robes appears before Gadston. He quickly remarks "You should have taken me offer!" before striking with a whirlwind of claws toward the knight.

After his assault he vanishes back into the mist (no opportunity attack) but everyone can hear his boots on the cobblestone.
Gadston grunts from the onslaught, trying to hold back the pain. "The master of this keep has entered the fray.", he states. " Get to the water as fast as we can," he calls out to the others.
Dench moves to stand next to Sir Gadston. He then casts Spirit Guardians and designates that his allies are unaffected by it. "Your offer sucked, your hosting sucks, you suck!" Dench yells. "Bite me!" he says.
Direcris grabs hold of Gadston's arm. "Allow me to take the shield, Gaston, so that you may concentrate on the sword." His mouth falls open at Dench's words, but he adds nothing to them. Merely looks blindly around, waiting.
Gadston nods. "This place is isolated for a reason and I don't think it's to keep people out as much as keeping these things in. So let's get to the water and far as we can from this place," he says. "Move as one!"
The group stays together, protected by Dench's spell, to the edge of the island. Frigid water rushes past their feet, and the sound of the waterfall muffles the oncoming attack.
(Which side of the island did you want to run to; the side the came in on, upriver via the bridge, the opposite side with the smaller building, or the waterfall side?)
WIS Save v Spirit Guardians, 21 or 12 radiant damage
With you all nearby, you are able to see the Father come into view with preternatural speed. He struggles against the divine power of the spell but is able to make it to its source.

With radiance burning at his sink the creature whispers "As you wish" to the half-orc before attempting to sink his teeth into Dench's neck.

After a massive blast of radiant energy, Father Cyran is pried away from Dench before he can sink his teeth in and then he is struck with a blow from Uri (using up the advantage from guiding bolt). Despite all of this, he is able to resist the magic being weaved at him and turns his attention to the monk.

"Gadston?" Direcris will cast Mage Armor on himself and feel toward where he thinks Gadston is.

Uri needs no more urging than that. Keeping a wary eye out for further danger, he follows Gadston towards the water.

Sir Gadston
Seeing Dench grappled, Gadston will cast Guiding Bolt at the 4th level.
Hit: 27
Damage: 27
Uri will try to shove (athletics 17, 1st attack) to push the Father back in order to break the grapple on Dench.
He'll then shove (athletics 10, 2nd attack) to knock the Father prone.
Then for good measure, he'll kick the Father whilst he's down: 21 (adv. roll 14 if prone) for 10 magical bludgeoning.
Direcris will cast Hold Person (WIS 16) and try to keep the shield somewhat up between the creature and Gadston and Dench if it fails.
Dench says, "Indeed, as I wish." Concentration save: 7 + 1 from the Stone of Good Luck.
He'd like to cast Toll the Dead WIS 16 for 16 damage.
If possible, he'll take a Reaction to Channel Divinity and give Lathander's Blessing in the form of a +10 bonus to Uri's second attack.
Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
(Extra 7d6 for Gadston's crit 28)
Roll to resist shoves 20 v DC 17, 16 v DC 20 (from channel divinity)
Father Cyran seems unaffected by Direcris's attempt to halt him and manages to drop Dench's spirit guardians.
